  1. So, our coach openly admits he had no idea how far a FG would have been and blows a crucial time out, yet he's into the game enough that he doesn't like what he sees from his most electrifying player? You cannot be serious.
  2. That was a legitimate question. Where is he wrong?
  3. And Lynch will run for 120 on us next week.
  4. Chan hasn't been the man up to this point. Why would he be moving forward?
  5. If that's his best ball, we will never see 8 wins in a season, let alone playoffs.
  6. Link?
  7. Nope. They had balls and will enjoy that decision for a decade plus.
  8. Agreed. They reached for Losman, how did that work out?
  9. I say no. I like Urlacher and I think he'd be a good influence in the locker room, but when are we going to stop looking at guys other teams release to fix our problems? I don't see teams like the Steelers or Ravens consistently signing old FA's. Instead, they fill their needs through the draft and excellent scouting of undrafted FA's. You can point to Harbaugh as the reason for the Niners resurgence, but look at their draft classes as well. They have drafted very well and it is paying dividends for them. I get the need for a quick fix. I'd love one too...I'm not getting any younger and would love to see the Bills relevant again. I just don't see it happening through signing oft injured cuts from other teams. I want to draft smart, stick to a scheme (the 3 - 4 transition set us back immensely) and build a young, hungry team.
  10. Who are the some? Classic troll thread.
  11. I don't give two sh**s about stats besides wins anymore. Fitzpatrick's game does not pass the eyeball test and I highly doubt there would be a fan in the league that would be excited if their team acquired him.
  12. Those corners + Fitz = This game really worries me.
  13. I guess I'd ask how many you think Brady would have in the same time span?
  14. I don't disagree with anything you have said. My only argument is that the offense needs to respond with sustained drives. That doesn't absolve the defense at all. They have to do their job. However, the offense can aid the situation by staying on the field. That's all I am saying.
  15. Yes it is easy. However you are not getting my point, obviously, which is that yes, the defense's job is to get off the field but the offense does play a part in a defense becoming gassed. I don't know...I'm a head coach and offensive coordinator for a successful high school team. I see value in a sustained drive beyond yards and TDs. I see it as a chance to give my defense a rest as well, especially if they have been on the field a lot. That's been my position from day one.
  16. Then I suppose you'd be able to point out several NFL QBs who have greatly improved their accuracy with practice. I simply asked who that may be. I said nothing about practice being a tool to help with accuracy. Answer the question, please. I am curious. You do know the difference between a simple question and whatever it is you think I said, right? C'mon, please tell me you are smarter than that!
  17. Let's look at tha Patriots game, shall we? Start of 3rd quarter: We score, they score. Then: 3 and out, TD. 4 and out. TD. 2 plays. Fumble. TD. 3 plays. Int. TD. Five straight scoring drives by the Pats* sandwiching 14 offensive plays by our offense. You are serious in saying the offense has no role in that onslaught? BTW, our one kickoff return came after a long offensive drive for a TD, followed by the Red Sea parting for a CJ 83 yard TD on the first play after the kickoff. Our defense was not gassed. They just sucked.
  18. I'd like to hear of an instant where a notoriously inaccurate QB became consistently accurate.
  19. I think that this is even a topic on this board speaks volumes about the current state of the Bills' franchise.
  20. No, in fact that sounds awesome. If it ever happened. But it doesn't, so "what ifs" are not applicable here. But I will play along...."if" we had a QB who we could count on to win a game in the 4th quarter or "if" we had a coach who called a better game or "if" we had a better LB corps, we would not be having this conversation.
  21. How has Fitz kept us a respectable team? Is it the .367 winning percentage he has? Maybe it's the playoff appearances we have enjoyed the last decade plus. The guy makes millions of dollars throwing that damn ball, money paid by the fans. If he can't take the vitriol sent his way, too effing bad. That's the profession he chose and that's part of it. I don't see people attacking Fitzy the person, they criticize Fitzy the QB, which they have a right to do. Maybe if Fitz actually gets us to the playoffs, I will change my tune. But we both know that ain't happening, so I'll continue to sing the Fitzy blues with my Bills' fan brethren.
