  1. Agree Q. Just a fantastic football game. A shame about Bowman. He is a hell of a LB.
  2. Oliver was terrible in that.
  3. This. If people don't want to hear him, don't shove a mic in his face 2 minutes after he makes that play.
  4. Yeah. It is all that matters in this instance.
  5. He's right. He is the best corner in football.
  6. I hope TJ Graham is happy. Whatever the outcome, great game. Phenomenal.
  7. I agree with your last sentence. I wanted Fitz to succeed, but argued for two years he would not. You and others countered my arguments on a number of occasions. I don't know EJ will be a good QB yet, but I am willing to give a rookie first rounder at least another year. With Fitz, his career body of work spoke for itself even before he put on a Bills' uniform.
  8. I live in western Canada and have no connection to Buffalo, so I cannot comment on its economic state. I find it hard to believe that has anything to do with a winning football team. It would be easy to start cheering for another team if I chose to do so. However, I think it is some kind of man code that you don't switch teams. I have cheered for the Bills since 1979. That's not changing. That doesn't deserve any accolades....it's what guys do.
  9. To the contrary. Reading analysis from someone who thought Fitz was the answer to any question besides, "you want to guarantee going no better than 6-12, who do you take as your QB?" provides an exemplar of your QB knowledge. So pardon me if I think any analysis you give on EJ (or any other QB) is basically a load of crap.
  10. Weren't you a Fitz guy?
  11. The Tampa game lasted half a season?
  12. I didn't need to do any research to know they were both absolutely horrendous picks.
  13. Lee's numbers were interesting, especially the drops. Evans' YAC were better than I thought. Based on these numbers (if they were the only basis of evaluation), I'd rank them: 1. Evans 2. Watkins 3. Benjamin 4. Lee Personally, I would love Watkins as a Bill.
  14. What you think about Brady is your business. However, stating he is "slightly above average" flies in the face of what every unbiased football fan and journalist thinks about the guy. As such, logic would suggest that if you're whiffing on this one so badly, anything else you profess is mere fodder from an uneducated source.
  15. Me too. As a Bills' fan, I always bemoan the number of seemingly crippling injuries we have....but what team had more significant injuries than the Patriots this season? And here they are, a game from the SB. Incredible.
  16. Fixed. I don't care who they have had to throw to or who they had coordinate their offense, both are all-time greats and we are lucky to have watched their careers unfold. Peyton is just fun to watch and I was happy to see him complete that third down pass to get a bit of the monkey off his back in terms of one and done in the playoffs. Honestly, I wish we had a QB who could complete that pass in that situation. I hope he kills the Patriots this weekend. As a Bills fan who loathes the Patriots, I obviously hate that I had to see Brady's teams kill us every year, but stepping back, I cannot help but admire the job he has done. Everyone talks about how Fitz was Fitz last year because of the scrubs we had at receiver. Brady shattered that myth this season with the slop the Pats trotted out week to week. As for coaching, Belichek has to be discussed as one of the greatest coaches of all time and anyone who says differently is looking at it through Bills' coloured glasses. By the way, I was throwing up in my mouth as I wrote that last paragraph.
  17. Fitzpatrick? Need someone to signal in plays?
  18. Te'o a non factor before his injury. Again.
  19. Playoff football.....love it.
  20. Haven't been on this thread for a long time. Now I know why....pretty sure I read these same posts 35 pages ago.
  21. To answer the op's question in the thread title, I suppose that will be up to whoever drafts him. We will draft on the offensive side of the ball in the first round.
  22. Can't argue with that. As for Watkins, isn't he 6'1? So yeah, we may lose a few inches of height, but man.....think of what he would add to this offense.
