  2. This. This whole thread doesn't even belong on a fan website. I am sick of Litigious America. May all lawyer jokes come true!
  3. Oh dear! The defense won't see our receivers in the end zone! Wouldn't this be unfair? I'll go ask the Boise State Broncos...
  4. Here's our initial list of positional rankings. This is for fun you realize, since it's 358 days until the draft! Here are my way too early rankings: Pretty much all of them are leftover players that I thought might declare last year, then most of the Big Ten players that I'm familiar with and then CBS' site to fill in the blanks. Nick Sukay, SS, Penn State Notes: These are only seniors so don't freak out when you notice guys like Luck, Blackmon, James, and Richardson are missing. Jordan White and Kentrell Lockett are guys that you might recognize, they were granted a 6th year of eligibility just before the draft and withdrew their names. Sounds like Michael Floyd will be allowed to play this season which is a big break for him. No idea what will happen to Janoris Jenkins, with the supplemental draft looking unlikely due to the lockout, he may need to transfer to a non-FBS school to play a year or just sit out. He's an extremely talented kid and first round player on the field but he's undraftable off it. I LOVE this WR class. The seniors by themselves are extremely strong across the board and with Jeffery and Blackmon both likely to declare, this could be a great class.
  5. Now that's FUNNY. http://img.vrvm.com/media/render.htm?m=283611245&width=320

Searcy was a reach on both mocks, and Hairston a good value. C White ILB was a steal in RD6 according to DraftTek, but PFW had him in the general area. RD7---meh.
  10. EGG SACK LEE! It's "Dare Us". Double-Dog Dare Us. Which is my nickname for Marcell.
  11. I remember Nix saying early on that we needed to get bigger and nastier. Dareus, Jasper, our RT, and even our new RB are bigger and tougher than we've seen around training camp.
  12. I agree about Scott Chandler. Statistically he was the most productive. It'd be nice getting Nelson on the field too.
  13. I think we now have the 2 best safeties in the draft not named Peterson. Buffalo News: "The decision to take Searcy was due in part to the uncertainty at safety. Starter Donte Whitner could leave via free agency, depending on the outcome of the NFL's labor situation. Bryan Scott is still under contract, but there is no guarantee he'll hold onto his job. The 5-foot-10 1/2, 223-pound Searcy provides insurance, but also adds more talent to the position. He was overshadowed by the numerous high-profile Tar Heel defensive draft picks, but ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. had him rated as the second-best strong safety." Aaron Williams, if used as a safety, would be the toughest, strongest safety in this draft. Not bad.
  14. The reality is that the Bills needed D help. They took the draft's best D-Lineman with Pick 1, and the draft's best safety (or 2nd best and hardest-hitting CB) in Pick 2. I know you had other plans for the Bills. Let's let Buddy Nix have his turn first before we let you take over.
  15. I think Dareus makes Carrington better. He makes our LB's better. He makes our DB's better. What a perfect pick. I haven't said that in years.
  16. On a lighter note, you haven't seen my hair (or lack thereof). The draft fascinates me. I'm already looking at next year.
  17. I want to buy his jersey. It'll hold my wifey and me! He'll be a NT and I bet he's Refrigerator Perry on goal-to-go situations.
  18. Aiken has put on a pound and is now 245. He's a decent long snapper, but I'd think he'd snap in half with a guy like Kris Jenkins opposite him!
  19. It's too bad, because I respected Walterfootball. They were predicting the Bills would take a QB, and they seem to bear a grudge.
  20. I have heard every one of the Bills' draft class described with the same word: tough. Aaron Williams: (Dallas News) "Cowboys thought Texas cornerback Aaron Williams was going to stick around until their second round pick at No. 40, they were wrong. Williams was drafted 34th overall by the Buffalo Bills Friday. Williams is one of the most versatile defensive backs in this draft, as he can play all five positions - both corners, both safeties and nickel. He's tough, aggressive, battles every receiver, covers the slot, provides run support and isn't afraid to get after the quarterback. It's a little surprising that Williams went to the Bills, as there was lots of talk he might go to Pittsburgh at No. 31, Green Bay at No. 32, Dallas at No. 40 or Houston at No. 42. The Bills chose Alabama defensive tackle Marcell Dareus with the third overall pick Thursday. Williams and Dareus played against each other when Texas and Alabama played for the National Championship in January 2010." Kelvin Sheppard: (NFL Network Analyst Mike Mayock) "Sheppard is savvy and tough. He comes to play every week." Da'Norris Searcy: (NFL.COM) "The Bills continue to add intriguing pieces to their secondary with the selection of Searcy. He is a tough, physical player with a feel for playing against the run. He also is an accomplished returner with the potential to add some juice in the kicking game" (Bleacher Report)"Searcy is a strong kid. He benched 225 at the Scouting Combines 27 times. He is tough and physical. It is conceivable that he will pair up with Jairus Byrd to form a safety tandem down the road." Chris Hairston: (ESPN Insider Scouting Report): "had this to say about Hairston's toughness....Plays with an edge and can throw smaller defenders to the ground. Killer instinct and finishes blocks when gets defender off balance....Big, tough, nasty" Johnny White: (NFL.COM) "White is a tough, hard-nosed runner with the ability to be a strong contributor with the Bills. His downhill running skills will boost a Bills' running game that already features a pair of quality runners in Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller" Chris White: (our own Buffalo Barbarian) "kid hits like a truck and has a lot of nasty in him" (!@#$) "Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz told linebacker Chris White before this season he had a chance to win the Butkus Award, the senior laughed. But Diaz wasn't joking. In his mind, he saw an elite Southeastern Conference athlete. 'I'm a simple guy when it comes to evaluating linebackers,' Diaz said. 'I like them to run fast and hit hard. Chris White can run fast, he is tough as nails, and he will bring it.' " Justin Rogers:(DraftInsiders) "Tough smallish senior corner completed an excellent career at the lower level, earning conference honors over his final three seasons....He won many battles on instincts, experience and toughness that allowed him to rank with any corner from the lower level"
