  1. 2. I hope you're right. Get players to the positions that they played with success. It's obvious, but inexplicable why Moats moved inside and Batten moved outside.

  4. Aiken Schmaiken. Inconsistent receiver who misses the easy ones and then makes a spectacular YouTube catch. From Chris Brown: In three wide it was Jones and Johnson with David Nelson in the slot. When Roscoe is healthy he’ll be the slot guy. In four wide it was Jones, Johnson, Nelson and Roosevelt. When Roscoe is healthy he’ll be the third WR, with Nelson the fourth. With the second unit it was mostly Marcus Easley and Craig Davis with Naaman Roosevelt in the slot. When that group went four wide Felton Huggins was the fourth receiver. Paul Hubbard was rotated in with that group at times as well.
  5. We know this is true because they did it with Edwards--> Fitz last year.
  6. Interesting post. I'd do either trade, actually. Giants are very nervous about their CB situation. Ross is now their best corner and that's not saying much. I still think we'll land one or two more good players before Sept. 1st. We have the roster pare-down to 75 on August 30; some get cut before that as a courtesy to the cut player.
  7. ^^^^^This. Jackson has something like a 6 ypc average in preseason so far. No way they don't use his talent. They're giving Spiller a chance to work on stuff so they have a 1-2 punch when the season starts. Jackson will start Day 1.
  8. That's awesome. Think I wet myself...
  9. From Chris Brown: "Last week Andy Levitre rotated with Chad Rinehart at left guard. Then he played center for a short spell in Saturday’s game. Now he’s lining up at another position. Levitre is taking his primary snaps as the starting left guard, but he’s also taking snaps at left tackle with the second unit in place of Ed Wang. We’ll have more on this after practice."
  10. In 2010, Moats played in Week 4 and 7-16. Only in the NEP game in Week 16 did he have a negative Pass Rush score (according to ProFootballFocus.com). He was outstanding vs. the Dolphins. On Run defense he had 3 negative weeks (MIN, CLV, and NYJ). If Moats can ramp up his run defense he'll do well. He had a calf injury today and sat out practice.
  11. If training camp is any indication, we'll see "dink-dunk-bomb" aa lot. Watch for Nelson and Jones this year have good numbers. I'd even throw Easley and Roosevelt into the mix. I don't include Parrish only because IDK if he can stay healthy for a season.
  12. More Fun with TE stats: The Bills combined TE's last year had the highest "Thrown To/% Caught" numbers in the NFL. This was for the most part B.C. (before Chandler) and without MigraiNelson.
  13. Thanks a ton, Mike. I was unable to make camp this year b/c of new grandson in Boise. I appreciate your thoroughness; it has helped me be there in spirit!
  14. I like Mis-Fitz and Holding Pattern the best. Creative Bunch, TBD!
  15. The Broncos game will be a better gauge of where he is. Beadles, JD Walton and Kuper are going to have to double somebody, and Kyle Williams, Danny Batten, and Merriman ought to profit the most with multiple sacks.
  16. Expect to see a lot more Nelson/Easley/Jones soon. I think 2 of them, plus Naaman, make the 53.
  17. Wondering the same thing about Forrest. Can Forrest hold on PAT's? Can we trade Moorman for RT?
  18. Coleman and Easley aren't going anywhere. Moorman is in for a battle, but it may come down to who can hold for Lindell. Jasper will be on the PS. Dotson stays even if he's on the PS...IMHO.
  19. I agree. Ravens also drafted Tandon Doss so they will have a good 1-2-3. I think we'll be fine at WR as well, keeping 6-7 WR's plus Spiller split out wide now and then.
  20. Still looking at 7 WR's I think: Johnson Nelson Easley Jones Parrish Smith Naaman Plus Spiller out wide now and then. FYI, I'm not changing the Bills' positional needs one bit at DraftTek as a result of this trade. WR is still the lowest priority on this team IMHO.
  21. I hope that football is never played in a studio rather than a stadium.
