  1. Havner, a TE, went between Packers and Lions. He was claimed off waivers about this time by the Lions, then was released by the Lions on October 14, 2010 due to a hamstring injury. He was very good in 2009 with the Packers.
  2. A very good article about Fitz! Stuff in there I didn't know, and lots of stats for the nerd-bots like me.
  3. 5 WR's even adding BSmith sounds too few for a team using 4 WR sets. How about adding Roosevelt or Aiken and deleting a D-line guy?
  4. You mean Hall, and I could see that happening. Hall is a downfield runner, 1-cut type whereas Spiller is more of a "jukers wild" type. White probably would clear waivers due to his injury. I don't think Kamar Aiken or Buster Davis make the team. Roosevelt is possibly the 7th WR which wouldn't be outlandish from a team doing 4-WR sets. Here's a new 53-man roster and depth chart by Brian Galliford: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/8/29/2390928/buffalo-bills-53-man-roster-projection-take-four Galliford's 53: QB (3): Fitzpatrick, Thigpen, Smith RB (3): Jackson, Spiller, White FB (1): McIntyre WR (6): Johnson, Jones, Parrish, Nelson, Roosevelt, Easley TE (2): Chandler, Martin OT (4): Bell, Pears, Wang, Hairston OG (4): Levitre, Urbik, Rinehart, Wrotto C (1): Wood DE (4): Dareus, Johnson, Edwards, Heard NT (2): Williams, Troup OLB (5): Merriman, Kelsay, Carrington, Coleman, Batten ILB (6): Barnett, Davis, Morrison, Sheppard, Moats, White CB (5): Florence, McGee, McKelvin, Williams, Corner S (4): Byrd, Wilson, Scott, Searcy SP (3): Lindell, Moorman, Sanborn
  5. Here is a nice link to an up to date list of player cuts. http://proplayerinsiders.com/nfl-teams-begin-roster-cuts/
  6. No I mean I'm adding David Nelson, not Shawn Nelson. Very reasonable!
  7. I've searched and searched, but can't substantiate the rumor about David Nelson, so I'm adding Nelson. But whom do I cut?
  8. I like David Nelson a lot as a player, on the field ability, etc.. I've heard a character rumor I am still chasing down on Twitter. They love Ruvell Martin. Kirk Morrison could happen over Jefferson, I'll give you that one.

  10. Current Roster Another Website's attempt: http://www.buffalowins.com/buffalo-bills/articles/buffalo-bills-53-man-roster-projection-and-cuts-version-1.html Remember, the Bills just released RB Anthony Elzy, P Reid Forrest, WR Paul Hubbard, OL Isaiah Thompson, CB Loyce Means & DB Rajric Coleman
  11. Love the Helmets! But I'm 63 so I would.
  12. Forrest had a higher ypk than Moorman in the first 2 games. Hubbard loses out only because of character, IMHO (intox) Means had trouble in coverage Coleman I really liked
  13. Very realistic and insightful. Thanks for the thoughts. Will be watching and DVRing it tonight.
  14. Would like to beat the team that beat the Pats!
  15. Worked Mathis inside, then moved outside. A thing of beauty. Like me some swagger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue4NdiIEkcE
  16. Fitzpatrick's QB rating for the game was 158.3, the maximum possible. He actually had pass protection tonight. Great accuracy; that pass to Easley was a thing of beauty: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2TEeItfAXs
  17. http://wgr550.com/Kyle-Williams-Signs-New-Deal/10745526
  18. NICE. #Bills RT @JasonLaCanfora Bills agree to 6 year, $39M deal with stud DT Kyle Williams. Includes $17M guaranteed
  19. Except for one game his rookie year, I think he's played in every game (like 55 of 56). Anybody have the exact numbers? Amazing. But I agree--save it for the Chiefs.
  20. Moron Moran. Glad he didn't dance in the backfield like McGahee used to.
  21. You are confusing "upside" with "wing sauce". Not in my ten, sorry. My opinion is that Batten will be a top 10 player on this team. Our DraftTek guy liked his work ethic, versatility, strength ("violent hands") and hustle at the Texas vs. The Nation practices, and while his forte is run stopping (sealing the edge and getting through traffic to the ball carrier), he had 23 career sacks from a strong-side DE spot. Between shifting positions and being injured, you haven't seen Batten play yet.
  22. My order is different. My Ten, in order: DT Marcell Dareus---Kyle resigning only makes this 1-2 punch better OLB Danny Batten---2 sacks in 2 games WR David Nelson---still better than Jones in my book WR Donald Jones---coaches see something in him RB CJ Spiller---should be higher; isn't DT Torell Troup ILB Kelvin Sheppard FS Jairus Byrd DE Alex Carrington CB Aaron Williams
  23. NFL Draft Bible has ranked the top 10 players from different teams, under the age of 25 with the most upside. Check back frequently at the NFL Draft Bible as we list the premier prospects for all 32 NFL teams. 1. RB CJ Spiller (Clemson) 2. DT Marcell Dareus* (Alabama) 3. DT Torell Troup (Central Florida) 4. FS Jairus Byrd (Oregon) 5. DE Alex Carrington (Arkansas State) 6. DB Aaron Williams* (Texas) 7. OT Chris Hairston* (Clemson) 8. LB Arthur Moats (James Madison) 9. WR Marcus Easley (Connecticut) 10. CB Justin Rogers* (Richmond) You have to hope on some (Spiller, Hairston, Easley, Rogers) because there isn't a body of evidence yet. But it's a fun exercise. I'm deleting Rogers/Moats/Easley and adding Nelson/Jones/Batten.
