  1. #1 in Rush Left Avg. #1 Rush Right Avg., and #1 in Sacks Allowed!!!
  2. That's the most important fact that I missed, John. Good one! Have Fred in for a talk this week!
  3. At least it'd be a better bet than mine--a Whitner, a Winfield, a Poz, and an Evans...
  4. 1. Brady was picked as many times in this game as he was all last season. 2. Two of the picks were made by players with less than 2 years’ experience.-->False. 3. The Bills ended a 2,940 day win drought against the Patsies. 4. Fitzpatrick’s first 16 games as QB mirror Jim Kelly’s best numbers in his best year (1991). Questioned-->(Jim Kelly was 304-474 (64.1%) passing for 3,844 yards with 33 touchdowns and 17 interceptions and a passer rating of 97.6. Ryan Fitzpatrick was 327-552 (59.2%) passing for 3,841 yards with 32 touchdowns and 18 interceptions and a passer rating of 86.2.) 5. Buffalo is the first team in NFL history to win consecutive games in which it trailed by at least 18 points in each contest. 6. We are 3-0 and in 1st place in the AFC East! 7. In 14 seconds, the Bills scored 2 TD’s—more than Kansas City has in 2 games. 8. On the Jackson run 39 yds. to the 1-yard line, if he had scored, Brady would have had the ball back with 1:42 left, and 2 Timeouts. 9. WR Donald Jones has recorded his 1st career 100-yard game and the 1st by a Bill since Fred Jackson on 11/28/10. 10. Stevie Johnson and Chandler both have 3-game TD streaks; only Andre Reed and Eric Moulds have ever done the same for Bills. 11. No sacks against the Pats and only one against Oakland that might have the most athletic Dline in football. 2 sacks on the year. 12. Freddy is averaging 6.4 yards per carry rushing and 14.4 receiving. He’s tied with McFadden (Oakland) for NFL lead. 13. Tom Brady is 61-3 when scoring over 30 points with the only losses coming against Peyton Manning and “The Amish Rifle”, Fitz. 14. Buffalo now leads the league in interceptions with 6 through the first 3 games. 15. Bills are on pace to almost triple their INT’s of last year. Last season they had 11. 16. Since 1990, 75.9 percent of teams that started 3-0 made the playoffs. 17. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady left the game without shaking any Bills players' hands. -->False 18. Last time the Patriots got beat by the Bills, the Pats won the Superbowl. 19. O-Line is #1 in Rush Left Avg. #1 Rush Right Avg., and #1 in Sacks Allowed!!! 20. Bills are #1 in the AFC in First Down Percentage. http://bit.ly/qKIS5t 21. Bills are #1 in the NFL in Points Per Game and Total Points. http://bit.ly/qR754G
  5. Wooot! Wonder if tonight's game affects positional needs. I'll be turning in your comments in this thread to DraftTek, and a new mock will be up tomorrow. Go Bills! Astro
  6. I had to try this: All Hail Sir CaughtaLot!
  7. was "Time To Go Slay The Dragon". He will hereafter be named "SIR Stevie." All Hail!
  8. IF only we could sacrifice a Buffalo Bills virgin...
  9. As a robot, I can frequent Twitter 24/7, and follow some of NFL players' friends. One of Gronk's friends mentioned it first. You are a Jedi.
  10. Guess I scooped some folks on that tidbit. Watch for them to play Nate Solder in Vollmer's place and throw to him on a tackle-eligible.
  11. Haynesworth, Vollmer, Wright, Hernandez, Rob Gronkowski absent from practice. Haynesworth wasn’t on the field because of a back injury, and with defensive tackle Myron Pryor being placed on injured reserve this week after suffering a season-ending shoulder injury, and Mike Wright (concussion) not expected to be available any time soon, DL should only be great instead of fabulous.
  12. 100% of people who ate tomatoes 1776-1900 are dead. In 103 meetings between Patriots & Bills, this is the 1st time both teams are undefeated (0 wins 0 losses doesn't count)..
  13. If we rely on only 3, we'll lose. If it looks like Merriman's set to blitz and Kelsay blitzes, we win.
  14. With Morrison out at ILB, and Andra Davis looking old and slow, we'll see heavy doses of Kelvin Sheppard at the Mike LB spot, and backing up Barnett is "Don't Cross The" Moats at the Will LB spot. Marsha, the D will be bringing well-disguised blitzes from LB in addition to the 3 linemen. One of these two (plus Merriman /Batten) will figure in a pivotal play. You won't know where it's coming from. Don't say I didn't warn you, Marsha.
  15. Based on our new inputs, here is an early simulation with the Bills drafting #18: RD1 Brandon Jenkins OLB34 Florida State RD2 Mike Adams OT Ohio State RD3 Shaun Prater CB Iowa RD4 Nicolas Jean-Baptiste DT34 Baylor RD4 Nick Foles QB Arizona RD5 Izaan Cross DE34 Georgia Tech RD6 Anthony Miller TE California RD7 Jarius Wright WRS Arkansas I'd be happy with that result! Astro
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c3jXgufyEk At the 4:40 mark, Eric Wood lifts his man, who has his arms raised, and just throws him down. This was on the final TD play. Epic, but he had his man on every play in the second half.
  17. With WRs M.Easley (heart) & R.Parrish (ankle) out for the year the #Bills (as expected) will start David Nelson at slot-WR moving forward. @nfldraftupdate Dion Caputi
  18. Your profile name suggests that you think changing strategies and personnel is advantageous, and perhaps attractive or downright fun. I'll be soliciting feedback on a monthly basis because DraftTek wants me to, and people here like to talk about the team. That you, Jauron?
  19. CBBill--who are you naming as the 1-3 WR's? If you have it Stevie, Nelson, Jones, then I might answer differently.
  20. If I set LT and RT at P2, then the computer will take the LT virtually all the time. So that'll work. A RD1 example around pick #11 would be LT Jonathan Martin from Stanford. Kalil would be gone at #11, and Datko will move up to the #15-20 range. OLB34 can be set to P2 as well. Coples, Jenkins, Paige-Moss would be RD1 examples right now, but it's a long season. Vinny Curry or Devin Taylor would be RD2 examples, and you'd still want to use the P2. QB, if we do P4, could pick up one of these these guys in RD3(look in the #77-#133 range). One could work their way into Round 2 (like Ponder last draft). So, LT and RT=P2, OLB34 is set at P2, and QB is at P4 right now. DraftTek has 3 settings for WR's, and I can change just one...but which one? WRF is the featured receiver, like Stevie or Nelson-Jones. Maybe we don't need a WRF. P9. WRP is a possession receiver, like Josh Reed was. The closest approximation was Roosevelt This should be P6 (or P1 if you want Alshon Jeffery). WRS is a speed receiver, like the rookie that burned us deep in the last game, or Parrish. This could be P4 or 6 (or P1 if you want Broyles).
  21. DraftTek is going to run amok (or did they say, run a mock?) next Monday night, and I am soliciting positional needs. Here is what we had in September: Turn your speakers down--Mucinex ad P1=top priority (but can only designate 1) P2=high priority (can designate as many as you wish) P3 P4 P6=low priority, but interested in BPA's if our needs are met P9=don't pick these positions unless they are the BPA I am proposing QB remain at P2, along with RT. Lower TE to P3 Keep LT at P3 Raise OG to P3 DE, ILB keep at P4 Lower Safety to P6 Raise CB to P2 I'll keep updating the positional needs all week according to discussion, but they won't show up on the site. We'll finalize Sunday night--after the shellacking of the Pats. Astro
  22. The final play was confirmed by replay as an interception. Final: #Bills 38, #Raiders 35, nine minutes after the game was over.
  23. Nine minutes after the game, the final play was confirmed by replay as an interception. Final: #Bills 38, #Raiders 35
  24. That would be the #1 and #2 run defenses in the NFL last season, Wet Blanket--I mean Pearl Howardman.
