  1. Bills seeking first 6-2 start since '93; first 5-0 "home" start (including Toronto) since '95. #Jets seek to avoid 0-4 road start since '07
  2. McGee had better account for himself or we'll pull an Evans.
  3. Jets taking advantage of McGee playing off his man. Last 3 plays.
  4. Add Spiller to this in 5-wide and you have a real dilemma if you're Rex. Their 5th DB<our 5th WR.
  5. Thus securing a deeper and more vigorous suck for luck.
  6. The link now links to a different video.
  7. The most unlikely running back in the National Football League is tearing it up. Great video that tells the story of Jackson's rise from Coe College, to sub-arena, to arena, to NFL Europe, to NFL, to starter, to MVP?!?!?!?!?!
  8. Bills 31 Skins 17 This one isn't going to be close. A party for Fitz, for Nelson, for Roosevelt, Batten, and McGee.
  9. Drafting in that order right now, you would have picked: RD1: Donte Paige-Moss OLB34 North Carolina or Jared Crick DE34 Nebraska RD2: Jeff Fuller WRF Texas A&M or Mohamed Sanu WRF Rutgers RD3: Brandon Mosley OT Auburn or Marcel Jones OT Nebraska RD4: Keith Tandy CB West Virginia or George Bryan TE North Carolina State RD4: Ladarius Green TE Louisiana-Lafayette or Casey Hayward CB Vanderbilt
  10. Good catch/reading comprehension. I changed it: In our Wk5 game against the Eagles, WASH had 0 offensive players with high grades, 9 had poor grades. In WASH Wk6 game vs. the Eagles, BILLS had 7 offensive players with high grades, 1 had a poor grade (Pears).
  11. Some Stats I Like (From Pro Football Focus Premium Stats): Looking at all the snaps of WASH receivers, only Santana Moss (305 snaps, but injured) and Niles Paul (68 snaps) have positive grades. The Bills have three with positive grades: Stevie (355 snaps, #9 in the NFL), Naaman (109 snaps,#41) and David Nelson (318 snaps, #38). Jones, Smith, Parrish, and Martin have negative grades. If you try to run, BUF has Jackson (#1 in NFL in rushing grade with a 19.9) and Spiller #20 with 3.2. WASH had #23 Hightower (out) at 2.2, and has Helu #42 at 0.3. -The Redskins are #2 in defensive penalties (Bengals are first). We have to bait them. We must be a master at baiting. -The Bills are #4 in overall offense rating at 64.5 (behind NEP*, Saints, Packers). WASH is now #16 at -7.8, and freefalling since their injuries. -Bills Pass Blocking is 3rd in the league (Titans, Packers) and already beat #5, 10, and #11; WASH is #15. -Bills Run Blocking is 4th in the league (Vikes, NEP*, Saints). WASH is #17. In our Wk5 game against the Eagles, WASH had 0 offensive players with high grades, 9 had poor grades. In WASH Wk6 game vs. the Eagles, we had 7 offensive players given high grades, 1 had poor grade (Pears). When PFF graded QB's passing, Fitz is #8 (just above Stafford, Eli Manning, and Roethlesberger) and Beck is #31 (just above Kitna, Kafka, Hill, and Kaepernick). Among QB's with over 350 passes, Fitz is #4 in Completion Percentage at 66.3%, just below Brady; Beck is #31 at 57.7% but has only 91 snaps. He's below Kolb.
  12. I think Danny Batten will shine this week. Gailey plans to use a rotation Sunday between Spencer Johnson, Moats and Danny Batten. Kelsay will be on the other side. With OG Lichtensteiger and LT Trent Williams gone, Locklear and Jammal Brown will be the LT and RT, respectively. This means that Batten/Moats will be going against Locklear. Kelsay will have the Pro Bowler Brown 1 on 1, and Heard will be against 1st year OC Erik Cook, who will need Guard help.
  13. Bills are listed as #9 in the NFL plus or minus 2. http://sbn.to/rFEmPS However, they are #3 in the AFC, behind Patriots (5-1) and Steelers (5-2). Steelers' next two games are against New England and Baltimore, so no easy road. Patriots play Steelers after a bye then the Giants.
  14. The Jets will be coming off their bye when they play us. May the jinx last until then.
  15. One of my favoties as well. Thought they needed his size and pluck. There, I've said it. Plucked back!
  16. Julian Peterson-still available. Height: 6-3 Weight: 240 Age: 33. 11 seasons. 5× Pro Bowl selection (2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008). Lofa Tutupu-best available, named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie in '05, a solid 2010 season with 88 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception, but was released by the Seattle Seahawks. After six seasons in the NFL—all spent in Seattle—Tatupu accumulated 550 tackles, seven forced fumbles and 10 interceptions.
  17. 15% is the number Goodell cites today: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/10/24/2508013/buffalo-bills-toronto-roger-goodell
