  1. +1 Spencer is coming into camp in the best shape of his life, and is taking names. Book it.
  2. My link "We sure would," Gailey said. "Not this year. I mentioned it to a couple of coaches at the owners meeting this year just to get some feedback on who might like to do it and who might not like to do it. We will see if time goes forward how we want to handle that."
  3. Panos left Lock, Metz & Malinovic in late May, and still retains shared representation of Patriots DE Chandler Jones, Bengals G Kevin Zeitler and Packers DE Nick Perry as well as Cowboys OT Tyron Smith and Eagles G Danny Watkins. And now Urbik.
  4. NFL agents Dave Dunn & Joe Panos of Athletes 1st have signed #Bills OG Kraig Urbik. Formerly reppred by Authenic Athletix. Getting ready for extension?
  5. all you need is a buck for the bus ride from one of the shuttle lots, or have someone drop you off. No tickets necessary except for night practices
  6. Right now, Aaron Murray's an 86th pick, or 3rd Round, as per DraftTek, and 3rd Round as per Walter Football. I like Murray's never-give-up attitude despite the fact that some evaluators have said the opposite, that he's taken the Bulldogs to big leads in games and then lets the opponent back into the game. I put this blame on Mark Richt, however, and not specifically Murray. 3rd Round sounds about right for a QB.
  7. It suggests that we might want to try to rank-order Bills WR's in order of intelligence to find out who might stay or who might see The Turk.
  8. [bingo!] Mongo. Alex Karras as Mongo linko
  9. Eifert will be the #1 TE this April.
  10. I have OLB43 / WR as our P2's, QB / TE / ILB as our P3, and OC as a P4. Using my own Big Board, and not reaching more than 10 slots, from Pick #22 those positional needs could draft two scenarios. Which would you like? OPTION A RD1-Tyler Eifert Notre Dame 6'5" 249 TE RD2-Marquess Wilson Washington State 6'2" 188 WRF RD3-Kevin Reddick North Carolina 6'2" 240 WILB SILB RD4-A.J. 11. Best Football Names in the 2013 draft: Imagine a RD1-3 of Mingo, Rambo, Wingo...and Finish it with a Steinkuhler. RD1 Barkevious Mingo Manti Te'o RD2 Bacarri Rambo Montee Ball RD3 Kwame Geathers Bjoern Werner Ronnie Wingo RD4 Kenjon Barner Baker Steinkuhler Jake Stoneburner
  12. BB, Ray Ray is #50 on my list, just above Chris Faulk and Desmond Trufant. Likely he'll end up falling a bit, but I wouldn't count him out of Day 2. It's too early to think about the draft, but it's never too early to plan your college football watching. If you HAVE to pick and choose, consider watching LSU, Texas, USC, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama. LSU has 4 of the Top 16 players right now. 7 of the Top 16 are SEC players. Texas has Okafor and Jeffcoat to watch for their DE play. USC has Barkley throwing to Woods. Say what you will about USC; they may go 1-2 in the draft. Arkansas has the other top QB throwing to the other top WR (Wilson to Cobi Hamilton) Alabama's OG's (Warmack and Jones) will be fun to watch if you dig o-line play. I like Tennessee's WR Justin Hunter as a big-play receiver.
  13. Yep. Jackson is Jim's son. From Wiki: After retiring as a player, Jim Jeffcoat served as DE coach for the Cowboys, until 2005. Jim and his wife, Tammy, live outside of Plano, Texas with 4 children: twins Jackson (20) and Jacqueline (20), Jaren (22), and Jasmine (13). Jacqueline is a top basketball center recruit for the University of Oklahoma, while Jackson Jeffcoat chose the University of Texas for football after being an All-State DE at Plano West Senior High School and being considered one of top HS players nationwide. Jim currently owns an Allstate insurance agency. We'd be in good hands to pick his son.
  14. A couple of months ago, I was given DraftTek's internal Big Board, which I put into an Excel file. Each time I read a new Big Board (WalterFootball, for example) or 2013 Mock Drafts, like Perloff's from Sports Illustrated , I'd go over the variances and move players up or down proportionally. Here is where everybody is right now. There are fewer juniors on mine than on most. I'll do this now and then because it makes college football-watching so much more enjoyable if you know who to watch. 15. The Bills like him because he stays in his lane, rarely misses a tackle, and gets sacks, especially when the QB is forced to his side. Gotta think that'll happen more than 10 times a year with OUR other side.
  16. I said 1, then I watched the Bills INT Video and revised it to 16.
  17. New Dolphins Logo I think it's not going to boost sales.
  18. How about Caussin on IR, Dickerson in, Onubun on PS?
  19. I enjoy your sense of humor. Does that make me a tool? BTW, it's "versus" not "verse" when you mean vs.
  20. Browns take Gordon in RD#2 after Bills turn him down with the #1 pick in each round. Too rich a bid for my blood. In other news: ESPN leaves out #Bills Kent Hull in their "remembrance" montage/tribute at @ESPYs tonight
  21. ProFootballFocus has Byrd as the #3 overall Safety right now. 1 Troy Polamalu PIT 2 Adrian Wilson ARZ 3 Jairus Byrd BUF 4 Eric Weddle SD In pass coverage, they have him #2 to Wilson. Byrd comes up lower in run coverage. I'd say Weddle and Adrian Wilson are in the conversation for overall best.
  22. I am a stat geek, which explains my love for the draft, and my current boredom, actually. Some interesting stats about our most-unused offensive position from the bowels of PFF: Buffalo's four TE's last year combined for a 93% "thrown at-caught percentage", by far the best combined percentage in the league. Chandler was thrown at 43 times, and caught 38 of those. Brock and Lee Smith combined for 100% (6 for 6). Caussin caught 5 of 6. Brock leads all TE's in YAC after reception with 18.5 yards. Only 3 TE's are in double figures (Gronk's is 7.1). I'd like to see us use our TE's more, and I hope Metzelaars says as much in offensive meetings. They don't drop what's thrown at them.
