  1. I think Prince and Isaiah Green have potential, and could both be on the PS this year, with the Bills keeping Williams, McGee, Brooks, Gilmore, Rogers, and McKelvin. Great idea. We'd see the move pretty soon in preseason if they're even thinking about it.
  2. I watched him in practice, and Kyle Moore just might be the surprise keeper on the D-Line. I like Heard more than Carrington. Heard has more "relentless" in him than Carrington. Can Heard stay healthy, and play through minor injuries? If he plays tonight, Heard has a better chance.
  3. Before the suspension and rehab I had TM at 21: Matt Barkley Star Lotulelei Robert Woods Sam Montgomery Tyler Wilson Barkevious Mingo Jarvis Jones Keenan Allen David Amerson Justin Gilbert (Jr.) Johnathan Hankins Justin Hunter Jackson Jeffcoat Eric Reid Xavier Rhodes Logan Thomas Marcus Lattimore Chris Faulk Andre Ellington Barrett Jones Tyrann Mathieu Now DraftTek Top 100 doesn't include the Honey Bad.
  4. Hoody has Deion Branch, Brandon Lloyd, Matthew Slater, Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Jabar Gaffney, Britt Davis, Jeremy Ebert, Jesse Holley, plus 6 TE's. http://www.patriots.com/team/roster.html Plax would be the 5th WR with 10 or more years. Isn't Hoody worried about getting long in the tooth?
  5. I watched the Bills' O-Line too, John, and I agree. The only guy that was getting bullrushed back into Fitz was Rinehardt.
  6. Yeah, don't like 'em.. I had saved up for a jersey but won't be buying one, I'm afraid.
  7. Welcome back! And Thank You for protecting our freedoms--the most precious of which for me is not getting blocked at work! jk
  8. I used to believe that you were a real Jets fan. Not so much after this story.
  9. Gailey, Tasker, and Moorman got it right at least. I don't expect we'll see replacement refs when the real football begins. If I were Shanahan, I'd have moved to hike that ball a little quicker LOL!
  10. Agree on Osweiler. I like him too. I'll start highlighting players who might be cut that we like. I think if we did it would be for a PS player. Thanks, Carey--corrected that. Wonder what happened to Josh Portis.
  11. Not saying we need a QB for PS or whatever, but here's my research. This includes all teams with 4 QB’s on roster. They're listed in each division from most likely to least likely a Gailey pick IMHO. -Astro NFC North RJ Archer - Detroit Lions (Stafford, Shaun Hill, Kellen Moore) – May keep 3 and release Archer, Georgia Force QB. McLeod Bethel-Thompson - Minnesota Vikings (Donovan McNabb, Christian Ponder, Sage Rosenfels) –arena QB also. His coach? Turk Schoenert. BJ Coleman - Green Bay Packers (Aaron Rodgers, Nick Hill and Graham Harrell) – 2012 seventh-rounder Pack will try to get to the PS. Coleman said he’s “the best draft pick they ever made.” Matt Blanchard -Chicago Bears (Jay Cutler, Jason Campbell, Josh McCown) – Blanchard’s a rookie, McCown has connections to Jeremy Bates. Blanchard led Wisconsin-Whitewater to consecutive national championships and was a tryout player for the Bears. NFC South Sean Canfield- New Orleans Saints (Drew Brees , McCown, Chase Daniel) – Oregon State QB 2010 seventh rounder, waived during final roster cuts last year Dominique Davis - Atlanta Falcons (Matt Ryan, Chris Redman, John Parker Wilson) – pass-run QB set all ECU records Nobody - Tampa Bay Buccaneers ( Josh Freeman, Dan Orlovsky, and Jay Ratliff) - under-the-radar signing this spring could actually make Ratliff the 3rd wheel. Nobody - Carolina Panthers (Cam Newton, Derek Anderson, Jimmy Clausen) – Clausen, the 2010 RD2 pick, Inactive for all 16 games for Carolina in 2011, 13 TD, 10 INT career. NFC East Mike Kafka - Philadelphia Eagles ( Nick Foles, Michael Vick, Trent Edwards) – Kafka rushed for 891 yards and 11 touchdowns on 268 carries in his career, 64% completions. Jonathan Crompton - Washington Redskins ( RG3, Rex Grossman, Kirk Cousins) - released on September 7, 2010 by the Chargers, went to Pats, Bucs, and Skins. 55% percentage. Stephen McGee - Dallas Cowboys ( Tony Romo, Kyle Orton, Rudy Carpenter ) Nobody - New York Giants ( Eli Manning, David Carr, Ryan Perriloux) NFC West Scott Tolzien - San Francisco 49ers ( Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick, Josh Johnson) -claimed off waivers on Sept. 4th 2011. Wisconsin record as 32 TD 18 INT. Solid foursome here. If they cut Josh Johnson he’s a possibility also, as he has wheels. Tom Brandstater - St. Louis Rams (Sam Bradford, Kellen Clemens, Austin Davis) – Davis is a rookie from S. Mississippi. Davis’s looking good in training camp. Could be Brandstater. The Rams showed no faith in Brandstater last season, signing Kellen Clemens off the street to make emergency late-season starts instead. Richard Bartel - Arizona Cardinals ( Kevin Kolb and John Skelton, Ryan Lindley) – Bartel’s career numbers are 0 TD and 1 INT. Josh Portis - Seattle Seahawks (Matt Flynn, Russell Wilson, Tarvaris Jackson) – Gailey wouldn’t like the number of community colleges Portis went to. And yes, he's a relative. "Matt Flynn will receive all the first team snaps for the rest of the week and then will start Saturday's preseason game against the Titans, with Russell Wilson slated to play the second half. Carroll said (paraphrasing) that the team knows what Tarvaris Jackson brings - he has 30+ starts in his career - and the team needs to get a better idea what they have in their free agent signee and 3rd round draft pick." AFC North Thaddeus Lewis - Cleveland Browns (Weedon, McCoy and Seneca Wallace) – Duke QB throws a nice deep fade. UDFA, Waived by Rams, picked up last September. 67 career TDs in college. Chester Stewart - Baltimore Ravens (Joe Flacco, Tyrod Taylor, Curtis Painter) - 13 TDs and 17 INTs during his career at Temple Charlie Batch - Pittsburgh Steelers ( Ben Roethlisberger, Leftwich and Jerrod Johnson ) – You heard it here first – Johnson will unseat Batch. His play style is more similar to Big Ben’s, and he’s been impressing at camp. Tyler Hansen - Cincinnati Bengals (Andy Dalton, Bruce Gradkowski, Zac Robinson) – Training Camp injuries places him here. 6’0” with 4.8 speed at Colorado. AFC South T.J. Yates - Houston Texans ( Matt Schaub, Beck, Keenum) – RD5 overall pick in 2011, holds UNC school records for career passing yards, single season passing yards, and single season total offense. Rookie of the Week in Week 14 last year. Jordan Palmer - Jacksonville Jaguars (Blaine Gabbert, Enderle, Henne) – commentator. Rusty Smith - Tennessee Titans (Matt Hasselbeck, Jake Locker, Nick Stephens) – Smith’s NFL TD/INT ratio is 0/4. Nobody - Indianapolis Colts ( Luck, Stanton, Harnish) AFC East Greg McElroy - New York Jets ( Mark Sanchez, Tebow, Matt Simms) – Alabama QB McElroy has been opening his yap about the corrupt mindset of their locker room. 7th RD pick, broke thumb in last preseason game last year, and DNP in 2011. Game manager. Pat Devlin - Miami Dolphins ( Tannehill, Matt Moore, Garrard) – decent Delaware QB Nobody - New England Patriots ( Tom Brady and Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallett) AFC West Kyle Newhall-Caballero - Oakland Raiders ( Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Terrelle Pryor) – Played at Brown, second-team All-Ivy League, 61.2% pass completions. Ricky Stanzi - Kansas City Chiefs ( Matt Cassel, Brady Quinn, Alex Tanney) - 3rd in the nation in college passing efficiency on 2010 Jarrett Lee - San Diego Chargers ( Philip Rivers, Whitehurst, Kevin O’Connell) – Les Miles put Jefferson back in at LSU when he returned from suspension because he likes the dual threat. Gailey would too. Lee is more the game manager. Whitehurst has been injured so we’ll see Lee in preseason. Adam Weber, -Denver Broncos (Manning, Brock Osweiler, Hanie) – Weber has his fans on the Broncos sidelines, but it'll be Osweiler as the #2 there.

  14. http://preseason.support.nfl.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=22900&SPID=44851 If I read this right, the WASH-BUF game won't be shown live with Preseason Live. It will be shown after 7pm Friday. By then, my local TV channels will have it on. I'd buy this if it really was "Preseason Live". "Unavailable live in local team markets. The archive of this game will be available 24 hours after the conclusion of the game in those markets."

  16. Welcome. I'd love to see Easley and Hagan both make it, along with Nelson, Stevie, Graham, and D-Jones. The wild card I think is Namaan. He can't be a PS squadder this year, and he's made some sensational catches. His YAC per catch is the highest of the guys who are on the bubble, but you wouldn't expect that as he's not as fast as, say, Clowney.
  17. Here's a little cost/benefit info derived from PFF. thrown at/picks (% of passes picked that were thrown at that WR) Evans 78 times, 2 picks (2.6%); 2.8 YAC per reception in 2011 (BLT) Donald Jones, 42 times, 2 picks (4.7%); highest YAC per reception in 2010(5.2 yds); 3.0 in 2011 Brad Smith, 41 times, 2 picks (4.8%); 4.9 YAC per reception in 2011 Stevie 132 times, 7 picks (5.3%); 2nd highest YAC per reception in 2010(5.0 yds); 4.3 in 2011 Martin 15 times, 1 pick (6.6%) 4.4 YAC per reception in 2011 Nelson 94 times, 7 picks (7.4%); 3.5 YAC per reception in 2011 Roosevelt 26 times, 2 picks (7.6%); 9.3 highest YAC per reception in 2011 Hagan 22 times, 2 picks (9.1%)l 2.1 YAC per reception in 2011 Donald Jones and Stevie make it on their 2010 performance, but they better step it up. Smith makes it due to versatility and he's not picked often. Roosevelt deserves to make it on his YAC yards despite his picks. Hagan doesn't make it--picked too often and can't gain after the catch.

  19. Dolphin fans are blowing up the Comment section below the poll, obviously hurt that their D-line wasn't in the poll, thus invalidating the results. The "Dolly D", now a 4-3, won't be a bad one, but it ain't Bills-Ravens-Giants material IMHO.
  20. This is why polls are a good idea. 500 minutes a week. I consider it an investment, not a waste of time.
  21. My answer, obtained by computer, based on my making both QB and WR a P2 this week! Scroll Down to #16.
  22. They are happy with their 2 young backs. Addai-tion from subtraction.
