  1. We have the Bills at 10th from the bottom in our Power Mock. Part of the arranging of teams is strength of schedule, and the Bills will have the advantage after 2 more games of trauma. We actually have the Jests picking before the Bills in 2013...
  2. With your 22nd post, you're telling us you're done. Hello, Goodbye.
  3. 1-Terrance Williams Baylor 6'1" 190 WRF 2-Brennan Williams North Carolina 6'7" 325 ROT 3-Shawn Williams Georgia 6'0" 219 FS 4-Michael Williams Alabama 6'6" 270 TE 5-Duke Williams Nevada 6'1" 200 FS 6-Trevardo Williams Connecticut 6'1" 234 OLB 7-Dalton Williams Akron 6'3" 230 QB If Nix is running out of scouting ideas, perhaps drafting all Williams players would work. Think of the jersey savings alone.
  4. I would like the Bills to have a domed stadium right by the water. I could get there using Rochester's Fast Ferry!
  5. We are in 7th place in DraftTek power rankings so I am writing down a player in each round near that position for the Bills: Rd1-Sam Montgomery DE Rd2-Chase Thomas OLB Rd3-Conner Vernon, WR Rd4-Kevin Reddick, ILB Rd5-Duke Williams, FS Rd6-Casey Pachall, QB Rd7-Quanterus Smith TE That would be nice...
  6. Here are the first 3 rounds, where I have the QB's right now, and their yards per play against ranked teams: RD1#1=Barkley (yards per play against 1 ranked team) = 4.78 RD1#3=Geno Smith (yards per play against 2 ranked teams) =4.09 RD1#17=Tyler Wilson (yards per play against 2 ranked teams)=8.14 RD2#40=Landry Jones (yards per play against 2 ranked teams)=6.38 RD2#47=Tyler Bray (yards per play against 4 ranked teams)=8.14 RD2#51=Logan Thomas (yards per play against 1 ranked team) = 6.24 RD2#61=EJ Manuel (yards per play against 1 ranked team) = 7.8 RD3#85=Aaron Murray (yards per play against 1 ranked team) = 2.86 RD3#96=Collin Klein (yards per play against 2 ranked teams) = 8.64 Murray, a 6'1" Junior and not in my opinion coming out this year, has looked his best against 1-7 Kentucky, 1-6 Florida Atlantic, and 3-4 Vanderbilt.
  7. He's inconsistent, but improving. In each of the early weeks, vs Boise, LSU, SC and MSU, Murray had a pick or pick 6, a fumble or caused a fumble by a bad handoff. Then in Week 5, 4TD with a whopping 11+ yards per attempt. I have him as a RD3 right now (#73), and the 8th QB off the board, possibly right after/before EJ Manuel.
  8. Solid stats, Soggy! The rush attempts record (30 rush attempts or more, we're 8-3) makes me think we're on the right track with Woods and Levitre. I've watched film on most of Spiller's runs in particular, and the long runs are Woods-Levitre. Urbik's good, too; he's just not in there, and Cordy's high potential, and not in there. The run game going forward will be solid; I'll change my mock draft (LT Oday Aboushi in RD1) soon!!!

  11. Here are the WR's and the Round in which I think they'll be drafted. It's early, I know (Swope's playing lights out today, so he's RD1 now). The point is that there is a host of strong WR's in this draft. 4 Devonte Christopher 7 Emory Blake U Roy Roundtree U Keenan Davis U Isaiah Battle U Marcus Sales U Markus Wheaton U Tracy Moore U Corey Fuller U Damon Julian 1 Robert Woods 1 Terrance Williams 2 Ryan Swope 3 Conner Vernon 3 Marquess Wilson (Jr.) 3 Aaron Mellette 3 Kenny Stills (Jr.) 4 Quinton Patton 4 Tavarres King 5 Aaron Dobson 5 Cordarrelle Patterson (Jr.) 5 Marlon Brown 5 Mike Shanahan 7 Matt Austin 7 Marcus Davis 7 Jordan Matthews (Jr.)
  12. Hi BB. DraftTek's Big Board guy started a new job recently, so he's delinquent at revising his board. Cordarelle looked great playing at his community college, didn't he? We'll give him a few more weeks before vaulting him above Aaron Dobson, Tavarres King, and other WR's in the RD4 range.
  13. You know your SEC Gator...McCarron is leading the conference in yards per pass, adjusted yards per pass, passer rating. Insane numbers. He looks more like a second rounder every game, and could be a late first rounder if he continues to manage well...I still see Smith, Barkley, Wilson in front of him, with others in that 2nd RD mix like Bray, Manuel, Logan Thomas, maybe Landry Jones.
  14. You are AWESOME! Please explain eliminating QB's from the SEC. They have known pressure, big games, crowd noise, and fake blond cheerleaders. Seriously, is it because they haven't known snow? The only problem with "makes more plays than he gives up" is I see a game manager type QB like McCarron, and I'm pretty sure that's not whom your'e talking about.
  15. A Summary of the Serious Posts: 1. maturity 2. chemistry with WR's and RB's, TE's, Linemen, Coaches; respected by his teammates and coaches--a leader 3. limits turnovers 4. efficient in the red zone 5. strong mechanics--arm strength, can stretch the D, accuracy 6. can run (*some here don't care about elusiveness)---but slides! 7. durability 8. can play in the elements (rain, wind, snow) 9. responds to adversity, poise, moves on (stays "level", not too emotional--the AntiCutler) 10. studious, smart, a film room junkie, Diligent (studies film like a fiend)
  16. He'll do better behind the Packers' O-Line than our banged-up excuse of a line. Our line now is Levitre-Wood. Observe the blocks on Spiller's 33-yard run! http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Spiller-33-yard-sprint/0a1500b7-d9c9-48bd-a748-8ba276ece5de Good luck, Johnny!
  17. That's what I like to know when I submit the Bills' Positional Needs to DraftTek. I have WR as our 2nd-highest need right now, with OLB and ILB as our P3. One WR would be a hard-nosed, feisty, athletic Andre Reed type, and another would be the smooth, cool-as-a-cuke Lofton type (if that's not Nelson). I think we have our Don Beebe (Graham). So you would NOT be in favor of taking a second QB in late rounds that has developmental qualities? Does everyone agree?
  18. I have to agree with BPA. We have 3 WR's (SJ13, Chandler, Nelson), and 1 unproven rookie who Mayock had lasting until RD7, and could pick up 2-3 more in the 2013 draft better than the others.
  19. I have already looked at lots of video of draftable QB's, and realized, "I'm going at this backwards! Let me look at what Chan and Nix are saying when they talk about players and QB's, then I'll have a better idea of what the Bills would be looking for in April 2013." When they speak of player qualities they value, Chan and/or Nix have mentioned: 1. maturity 2. chemistry 3. limits turnovers 4. efficient in the red zone 5. moves on (stays "level", not too emotional--the AntiCutler) 6. can run 7. slides! 8. can play in the elements 9. responds to adversity 10. studious What other qualities would you add?
  20. A tip, which should make Feely feel slightly better! He didn't Norwood it.
