  1. Agree; He's not for us. DE43, raw (3 years in football), benefited from Van Noy on the other side, 10 tackles before this year, never seen snow (from Ghana). Nothing to see here. Hope someone else is distracted by his speed.
  2. http://www.drafttek.com/2013-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round2.asp Scroll down to #41 for my take!
  3. Actually, I like the idea of taking WR-QB-TE. Right now, those players would be WR Cordarrelle Patterson, QB Glennon/Wilson (Barkley gone on my board, too early for Nassib) TE Kyle Juszczyk One other way to play it would be to go in a different order: TE Zach Ertz (Jr.) WR Terrance Williams QB Bray, Jones The last combination: QB Matt Barkley, Geno Smith TE Tyler Eifert or if he's gone, Travis Kelce WR Markus Wheaton, Quinton Patton, Ace Sanders Which do you like?
  4. Barkely is ideal for a WCO. Watch this play, then go ahead to 1:25 and watch the 25-yd. laser for a TD.
  5. I like the draft in your sig. That's letting the draft fall as it may, and taking who's going to help your team get better!
  6. All of these guys would be value as RD6 or UDFA picks. Mike Shanahan WR 87 Pittsburgh 6'4" 225 -----'12 AVG =18.1 just is a football player, period. Big guy. Darrin Moore WRF 14 Texas Tech 6'4" 216 ----won vs Kansas in OT, Seth Doege his QB caught 13 TD as of Nov 24 Marlon Brown WRF 15 Georgia 6'4" 216 -----Possession guy, Comes back, good back shoulder catches John Goodman WR 81 Notre Dame 6'3" 215---- good downfield blocker, widebody, 4.47 speed One more thing. The next Stevie in my mind is Chris Harper of KSU.
  7. My Mock 2.0: My goal is more coverage sacks, more pressure up the middle, and weapons for the offense. I'm taking 2 FA QB's but expect a 2-year plan, taking my franchise QB in 2014. I would trade any pick or player to pick my QB next year. 1-Dee Milliner CB 28 Alabama 6'1" 196 (Jarvis Jones OLB if he's there) 2-Jonathan Jenkins DT34 6 Georgia 6'3" 351 (your nose tackle for 3-4) 3-Jamie Collins OLB 8 SMU 6'3" 240 (Logan Ryan CB here if we took Jones in RD1) 4-Cobi Hamilton WRP 11 Arkansas 6'3" 209 5-Michael Williams TE 89 Alabama 6'6" 270 6-Keith Pough OLB 13 Howard 6'2" 241 UDFA: --Brad Sorensen QB Southern Utah 6'4" 235 --Sean Renfree QB Duke 6'4" 225 --Alec Lemon WRP Syracuse 6'2" 205 --Darrin Moore WRF Texas Tech 6'4" 216 --Marlon Brown WRF Georgia 6'4" 216 --Cassius Marsh (Jr.) DT43/TE UCLA 6'3" 290 --Ronnie Wingo RBC Arkansas 6'3" 231 --Dominick Le Grande SS Marshall 6'3" 210 --Graham Pocic OC Illinois 6'5" 308 --James Morris WILB Iowa 6'2" 228 --D.C. Jefferson TE Rutgers 6'5" 250 --Zach Boren FB Ohio State 6'0" 245 --Ryan Allen P Louisiana Tech 6'2" 215 --Dustin Hopkins K Florida State 6'2" 190
  8. I've just completed an analysis of the defensive players that are possibly there when the Bills pick: Possible Defensive players at our pick: Dee Milliner CB --------------------------------- #7 on our BB Xavier Rhodes CB------------------------------- #16 on our BB Bjoern Werner DE43 or OLB34--------------- #2 on our board, #10 if he's OLB34 Jarvis Jones OLB34 or OLB43---------------- #4 on our board, #4 if he's OLB43 Barkevious Mingo OLB34 or DE43----------- #9 on our board, #25 if he's DE43 Datone Jones DE43 or DE34------------------ #24 on our board, #24 if he's DE43 Sheldon Richardson (Jr., decl) DT43 Sharrif Floyd (Jr., decl) DT43 Damontre Moore (Jr., decl) DE43 Ezekiel Ansah DE43 Kevin Minter (Jr., decl) SILB only -------------#18 on our board Kenny Vaccaro SS or FS-----------------------#12 on our board, #12 if he's FS
  9. He's dropped from #13 OLB to #19, but that still makes him a 5th RD to 6th RD guy. His best game was Week 3 against Tennessee. HE was SEC OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE with 2 tkl, 2 QB press, INT. When you see him he just looks angry. He contains the edge pretty well.
  10. http://secondroundstats.com/2013/02/08/nassib-dysert-and-manuel-a-metrics-breakdown/ Would love me 2 QB's as well. This link compares Nassib's, Dysert's, and Manuel's locations thrown as well as a comparison of Nassib to Luck's throws from a year ago--almost identical where they were thrown in terms of distance and location.
  11. NFLDraftScout has Nassib as the 5th best QB, RD3. Cooney's has him the 5th best QB, RD2. CBS Sports has Nassib going 47th overall, RD2. Mike Mayock said in a recent appearance on "The Rich Eisen Podcast," NFL Network's draft guru Mike Mayock recently said that he thinks that Nassib should be a RD2 or RD3 pick (30:30 mark). Russ Lande has Nassib in RD1. Kevin Weidl said in a tweet on 2-14, I don't see it with Nassib. Day 3 for me. Move The Sticks said, "Brilliant flashes but a little too jumpy/inconsistent....Ryan Nassib reminds me a lot of Ryan Fitzpatrick coming out of Harvard." Gil Brant says, 64) Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse, going after Glennon, both RD2.
  12. The head honcho listened to your suggestion, implemented it, and gave me a huge raise!!!!! Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
  13. Pats have NO draft picks in RD 4, 5, 6 this year. They have 2 RD7's. Can they still cheat somehow?
  14. TJ Graham cost us a 7th. Great idea. I'll suggest it, and if I get a bonus, I'll claim it was my idea. I understand they want a RB, WR, LB, Warmack, or Vaccaro. Staying put, I would think they would net two of those.
  15. I still think there will be 3 guys drafted in RD1 who have an arrest record: Ogletree, Damontre Moore, and Okafor.
  16. Here is an improved Trade Chart: http://www.drafttek.com/tradechart1.asp I’m sure you’ve all used the NFL Trade Value Chart before to come up with balanced trades involving same year draft picks. We’ve had one on our site for a while, but we have improved upon its usability in the following ways: 1) For each selection, in addition to point value we have also listed the team selecting at that pick. 2) A “highlighter” feature. Enter "BF" and all the picks for Buffalo will display in yellow. Try entering SL and you see St. Louis has two first-rounders. Good trade bait if they want to move up for, say, a RB.
  17. Luke Joeckel (Jr.,decl) LOT 76 Texas A&M 6'6" 310 Geno Smith QB 12 West Virginia 6'3" 220 Dee Milliner CB 28 Alabama 6'1" 196 Star Lotulelei DT43 92 Utah 6'3" 325 Bjoern Werner (Jr.,decl) DE43 95 Florida State 6'4" 273 Damontre Moore (Jr., decl) DE43 94 Texas A&M 6'4" 250 Barkevious Mingo OLB34 49 LSU 6'4" 240 Eric Fisher LOT 79 Central Michigan 6'7" 305 Jarvis Jones OLB34 29 Georgia 6'2" 242 Alec Ogletree (Jr., decl) OLB 9 Georgia 6'3" 236 I still am not convinced that Lotulelei should be on the top ten list, and think Hankins will be better for his team in the NFL. I've watched 6 games now, and Lotulelei's not often doubled like Hankins. What do you think?
  18. Love the idea of trading back. I simulated a draft where we trade with St. Louis for their #16 and #22. Our RD3 and our #8 pick does the trick. They get their RB that they want, Giovani Bernard RBF North Carolina. Our draft: 1A-Keenan Allen WRF California 1B-Tyler Wilson QB Arkansas 2---Alex Okafor OLB34 Texas 4--Chase Thomas OLB43 Stanford 5--Darius Slay CB Mississippi State 6--Stansly Maponga DE43 TCU
  19. 27.1 ypc in the championship season is still a Bills' record! http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/AFL-Focus-Elbert-Dubenion/f5b59811-d935-4c9c-ab40-97941317c2d9
  20. How about Byrd-Searcy with Zeke Motta (RD5) as backup?
  21. There ARE players every year who are famous for being famous, hyped for being hyped. There are so many variables that determine the success of a player, but many more variables that determine the bust-ability of a player. I am in the process now of listening to player interviews in order to get a feel for them as possible Bills. But even this is an assumption; Marrone might value "tough" over educated.
  22. Saturday it is!!! That was easy. How about climate change? (Maybe Congress should just be a big chat board)
  23. I am not moving Glennon. I am keeping him at #73, which is RD3. Landry Jones is below him at #81 and EJ Manuel is above him at #64. I have moved Nassib above all three, now at #49. I'm buying a foam brick to throw at my TV if we take any QB but Geno Smith at #8. We're #31 on defense, so I hope we ogle a sideline to sideline LB at #8.
  24. Keep in mind you aren't drafting defense in the RD you take these, because it matters. Tyler Bray RD3---------Cordarrelle Patterson RD1, Tennessee Geno Smith RD1-------Tavon Austin RD2, West Virginia Mike Glennon RD2,----(TJ Graham, on roster) North Carolina State Tyler Wilson RD1------Cobi Hamilton RD4, Arkansas E.J. Manuel RD2/3-----Rodney Smith RD5, Fla. State Matt Barkley RD1------Robert Woods RD2, USC Ryan Nassib RD2/3---Alec Lemon RD6, Syracuse
  25. I agree with BB. I think Hackett-Marrone can do more with a RD2 QB than we think (see what Marrone & Co. did with sub-.500 team in New Orleans with a short, accurate QB named Brees). And I think our 31st ranked defense needs the #8 pick.
