  1. Just watched the Browns game. FWIW, Drew had time, but threw over heads (3 INT's, I think), behind Moulds on at least 3 occasions where 1 would have been an easy TD, and threw it away when he perceived pressure that Losman will just squirrel out of.
  2. Donahoe and Mularkey: KUDO, AREOLA HANDYMEN! But there's no talent to this.
  3. Just Stop Me. I've Lost It... Mularkey and Donahoe: Will Raiders Get Moss? OAKLAND: UNREADY HOME Donahoe’s Atitude About Whiners: UNEARNED MALADY? A HOOK! Will We Sign Gannon? HEED YOUR OAKLAND MAN...
  4. Thanks, but: Mularkey and Donahoe: HEAD MAN LOOK UNREADY.
  5. Toot! Shelton for Travis: VINO-FLASHER TROTS! Mularkey and Donahoe: Unmarked Loony Ahead Coach Chuck Dickerson: Duck-Chin Cockroaches!
  6. Losman Starting=SIGNALMAN TROTS Bledsoe Cowboy=So Wobble, Decoy! Barry Bonds Steroids=Absorb, Sordid Entry! Bystanders Brood, Sir! Let's Go Anagrammers, Let's Go!
  7. And Monroe Ave. is close to East Ave. They run parallel, with Alexander crossing both. You could conceivably do the Amerks game, drive back to East and Alexander, and spend the whole night in that area-- Amerks, Mex, Lola, Marks...
  8. Best Line: "When word first began to leak out that Buffalo was going to release him, Bledsoe said he was "beside myself" which is normally a spot inhabited by a defensive end."
  9. Dinosaur Barbecue will also have entertainment, usually 9:30 or 10pm Fri and Sat.
  10. Check out Milestones. Milestones The EastAve-Alexander St. area is fun. Check out Mex if you like Mexican food.
  11. I'm happy with having Shane Matthews be the #2 for one year while we get a 4th-5th Round draftee (Greene-LaFors-Campbell) ready for the #2 job. If Matthews won't come out of retirement, I'd pick Fiedler, a known Pats Killer.
  12. Order Squirt Direct! Peapod Delivers
  13. Other Shelton Coincidences: He's from Rochester Hills; I live on a hill in Rochester. He's #70, I graduated in '70. His name is Shelton; I have an Uncle Shelton. His streak of consecutive plays over two seasons (2002–03) was 1,817. I streaked once when I was 17-18 years old. It's incredible.
  14. Welcome. I like the Bob Vila show, and most of your recommendations for putting our own house in order! You may have gone over the cap with your recommendations, but I do hope we get the hometown discount for Phat Pat. I don't want us to go backwards on defense to go forwards on offense. I'm trusting in TD that the O-Line is Job 1. If we have enough cap, I'd like to see us get bigger up the middle. Wahle sounds big, Shelton is big, and MW is big. Add one big draftee in RD#2 (CJ Brooks is 320) and add JAson Peters in the mix, and you're talking.
  15. I'd put Pollard above Bubba Franks at this point. Pollard is released, while GB would have the right to match our offer to Franks.
  16. Who can forget Roby's distinctive punting style? His kicking leg would be straight and above his head during his follow-through. RIP Reggie
  17. At one point 2/3 of the way through the season, Reed's thrown to/caught ratio was 3:1. We can't afford to keep a guy who's catching one ball, then dropping two.
  18. I think you need to use the Data Analysis. Do you have the Data Analysis Tool Pak installed? It will appear as Data Analysis under Tools in the Menu Bar.
  19. Do you want to express the result as a percent, an integer, or a decimal?
  20. Yes, take care of yourself. OCP affects one poster in 3.
  21. I agree with BGIM. And, assuming the TH-Shelton trade and JJ leaving, my draft would be OG in RD#2 (either Brown-Baas-Brooks in that order), RB in RD#3 (Anthony Davis-KayJay Harris-Darren Sproles), and QB in RD#4 (Greene-White-LaFors-Campbell). 'Bama's Anthony Bryant would be my DT pick in RD#5.
  22. You hit the nail on the head. I have a RB named Willis, who I can back up for short stints with Shaud or even Joe Burns. And I'm staring at a draft with great backs into the 4th Round: Sproles, Jermell Lewis. I get Shelton for a cap hit wash, and the very few LT's in this draft would take time to develop. As an aside, there are more good Guards in this draft into Round 4 as well. I'd take one in RD#2 or 3.
  23. I think everything depends on JJ. Jonas thinks he's the best tackle on the market, and is demanding $10m signing bonus. TD is offering a roll of tape and a Peerless Price bobblehead. If we want Shelton and Jennings, which we won't know until all the cards have been dealt this week, we could probably do it. Pat Williams would have to be let go, and some say that it is easier to draft and train a DT than it is to sign a FA and integrate him into an OL. Phat Pat's a popular player, so it would be an unpopular move. I doubt there's enuf $$$ to sign Shelton-Jennings-PWilliams, even if Pat gives us a hometown discount and JJ is reasonable. One factor nobody's mentioned is that we don't have a RD#1 guy to sign this year. O-Line is our priority. We'll see if TD puts his money into it.
