  1. I just saw a draft that had Jason Brown going in Round 3 at pick 79. I wonder if TD knows he'll have a pick at 79 AND 86!!!!
  2. I think your sig line says it all--Spencer could be there at OC in Round 2. With what TD said today, it could be that the Bills' first pick won't be an O-Line pick, but I sure hope it is.
  3. I was trying to get it into GIF Animator, but it only showed the first frame. Sorry. Astro
  4. I do not look At threads that pin. I do not like them, Sin I'm in. I do not like them with OT, I do not like them. You let me be.
  5. I had the impression they had Baas as our 2nd and Moseley as our 3rd.
  6. I love the "Davis Baas" pick. I think his same is Sammy Davis, though. I hadn't heard of CJ Moseley. "On The Clock" draft site actually has Moseley ranked higher than Castillo, Fields, and Attiyah Ellison. Good mock.
  7. I think Modrak has reached that level of maturity where it's "Do what you love, Love what you do, And you won't work another day in your life." I go in and teach learning disabled kids, age 5-10 every day, but I love it. If TD were the principal and offered me vice-principalship, I'd say, "Can I keep doing what I'm doing and just have the pay increase?"
  8. I think TD would be enamoured with Matt Jones as he was with Jason Peters. The difference is Wonderlic. We can't give Jason too much to do.
  9. Age: 56 Expected Age: 91.6 Time When Money Runs Out: 69 Uh-oh.
  10. There are a number of players here we have mentioned over the past weeks, both as falling stock players (Elton Brown, Rob Petitti, Brandon Browner) and rising stock players who now may not fall to our pick at #55 (44 is another story): Castillo, Spencer, Ware. One bright spot is that Matt Jones is rated as Top 50 selection material. One more motivator for TD to get us into that range.
  11. I would rather have the pick at this point. I'm growing accustomed to the options, and am feeling better about the current front 5. If it's an extra Round 2 pick, I'm ecstatic; if it's an extra Round 3, I'm happy. Not happy if it's a trade of picks with AZ.
  12. I think Kelsay, too, as they double Sam and watch for Schobel. I like Kelsay. He just keeps going and going, without the Energizer bunny suit.
  13. Here's a little bit on Collins: ---29 (out of 35) Wonderlic score ---former outside linebacker and wide receiver who moved to tight end for the 2004 season ---promise at the position as both a pass catcher and a blocker ---has been a special teams stalwart throughout his Irish career and proved to be very effective as a blocker in multiple tight end alignments ---good vertical jump and averaged 11.6 points and 6.8 rebounds as a senior in basketball and earned All-League honors ---was involved in two blocked punts and totaled 4 tackles (3 solos) on special teams action this year ---In 36 games with the Irish, he accounted for 14 tackles (11 solos), a stop behind the line of scrimmage, two blocked punts, a 28-yard punt return and 67 yards on six catches. Could be a special teams stalwart, but he's raw. Only one year at TE.
  14. After he got sacked, did a Tuna pick him up????
  15. ...or a Boozer.
  16. Time to look for BPA? Still want a big WR? Get a TE without an injury? Wanna replace Posey? Want to take a chance on a huge guy from a community college?
  17. Everybody's doing great. We go visit in TX next Monday, and return for Draft Weekend.
  18. Someone break this tie. Running Back Moats and Parrish in a dead heat. I'd take Moats (more durable than Sproles?). I still cling doggedly to the belief that Aiken is going to catch fire this year, and that one of the later round guys has caught TD's eye. Best bets? J.R. Russell or Vincent Jackson.
  19. Astro-Grandson Emerson was born in Austin TX. 8 Pounds, 14 Ounces. TD called this afternoon; wants to work him out... I'm trying to get East Rochester's field (same turf as the Bills', and right down the street from St. John fisher) 20 years from now. I'm one proud Bompa!
  20. No. The whole thing (including them cheerleaders) is MADE UP. Every last bit of it. The cheerleaders? Fake. The board was set up to perpetuate the hoax. There are no fans. There is no "Arizona Cardinals". They were disbanded when they moved from St. Louis. If the Bills play the Cards, they give the team a bye and show reworked footage (Helllooooo--can you say Adobe Premiere?) And... There is no Shelton.
  21. You are going to miss him, Ramius. I lost my Dad to cancer (also a fighter) last May, and I still feel he's with me. Great book for a few months from now is called _Swallowed By a Snake_. It helped me immensely in the past year. Peace... Astro
  22. Parrish has the refinement you'd lack with one of the later picks. He's played in the pro set for a couple of seasons. The knock, of course, is his height (5'9"), but nobody questions his ability. You may want one of the big boys down by the goal line, that's all.
  23. I could live with this line and the selection of Brown-Wilkerson as a backup OC. I think Vince Carter would be too slow, and like Richie Incognito or Scott Mruczkowski in a later round. Dylan Gandy or Marcus Johnson on day 2 would be good values.
  24. Offense is winning so far for this pick. The Moats selection in this round might be because, even though Sproles is available in the next round, people like Moats for his substantial edge as an every-down back, and most mocks have Moats as the #6 running back in this draft. To get him this late is a steal. WR's in the next round could add a new dimension to any team. Four WR's could go in this round that are giants. If they don't get Matt Jones, teams may go for one of these big guys: J.R. Russell Louisville 6'3" 206 lbs. 4.51 combine time Larry Brackins Pearl River CC 6'4" 205 lbs. 4.66 combine time Tab Perry UCLA 6'2" 220 lbs. 4.49 combine time Vincent Jackson Northern Colorado 6'4" 241 lbs. 4.55c
  25. You picked O-Line in Round 2 (although the late returns have made CB the current leader). You picked CB Antonio Perkins in Round 3. Do you go DT and replace Phat Pat? Draft OT Kaczur from Ontario to build fan base? Get your RB now in Ryan Moats? Take a WR or TE? FYI, here are the names in RD#5 available around our pick: Scott Starks, CB, Wisconsin Jerome Collins, TE, Notre Dame Ben Dougherty, QB, Florida A&M David Greene, QB, Georgia Karl Paymah, CB, Washington State Larry Brackins, WR, Pearl River CC Leroy Hill, OLB, Clemson Darren Sproles, RB, Kansas State Tony Curtis, TE, Portland State Brandon Jones, WR, Oklahoma
