Bills sign Roscoe to contract
Astrobot replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No distractions now. Everett will happen this week, too. They'll give him a fair contract in spite of the injury. Everett probably won't see the field this year, although he's saying late October. -
Went to the new doctor this morning

If she says that again, give her a 2nd stool. -
You have to know that McNally-Clements-Mularkey have probably mentioned this as the major reason why we won't see Preston in there any time soon, and Teague will stay right where he is, despite the 5-6 plays a day at LT.

I'm pretty sure 25 words per post is a gross exaggeration. On the other hand, you may have written the equivalent of 3 installments of Hairer Potty by now. BTW, you forgot me. Robots have feelings too.

I'll stick to my May 16 post: 53 Man Roster (Originally Submitted by Astrobot 5/16/05) -- I've made very few changes to this. Any disagreements? QB Losman (Holcomb, Matthews) – Woodbury, Thompson gone HB McGahee (RaShard Lee, Shaud Williams, Lionel Gates) – Lee, Gates super in Aug, --- Travis Henry traded to Jaguars FB Shelton -- Burns is gone. We may still acquire another FB-type back WR Moulds, Evans, Parrish (Aiken, FastFreddie Smith ) -- No Reed TE Campbell (Euhus, Everett) -- Plus a knee surgeon yet to be named OT Williams, Gandy (Peters, McFarland) -- Gandy-Villarial side impresses Mularkey OG Villarial, Anderson (Tucker, Geisinger) OC Teague (Preston) -- Preston quickly picking up the line calls, gets starting time in August DT Adams, Edwards (Tim Anderson, LaWaylon Brown) -- Brown the surprise here; Anderson and Edwards do platooning DE Schobel, Kelsay ( Ritzmann, Gause ) -- Gause and Ritzmann are demons on ST OLB Spikes, Posey (Stamer, Haggan) – Haggan much improved MLB Fletcher (Crowell, Ezekiel) -- Ezekiel the feelgood story of the summer SS Milloy ( Wire ) FS Vincent (Baker, Leonhard) -- Leonhard works his way off the PS onto ST CB Clements, McGee (Thomas, King ) -- King outplays Fontenot and Ward, who are relegated to PS K Lindell -- Looked at June cuts but Lindell holds them off P Moorman LS Dorenbos PRACTICE SQUAD (8 people): OT Gudmundsen, Pruce TE Cieslak -- TD likes his size and catching ability FB Goldsberry or we sign a June Cut CB Fontenot CB Ward K Steve Baker or we sign a June Cut LB Hunter -- Hunter will be the next Stamer / Haggan ST guy along with Leonhard

I'd have thought the Skins would keep Gardner. That'd be some receiving corps. But I guess the $2M cap hit is a concern in Washington (Imagine--money being a concern in Washington....)

The media doesn't know there's an Upstate.

I think she did the wrong thing, but I'm wondering about the problem solving skills of a soon-to-be fourth grader. I'm assuming there are electric windows, so he couldn't lower the windows. Geez, what would you think of next? Hint: It involves the door in some way. She's still a beeeotch. -
Sweet! I especially like your WR's, and the upside of guys like Cadillac. I've always liked D Davis, too, so you should be set.

I assume that Schobel, Kelsay, and (begrudgingly) Denney probably have their spots iced up. If you are keeping 4 or 5 DE's, here are a few thoughts: Ritzmann ( 6-3, 254) Year 2 Tennessee -- Extremely fast. Light, and possible liability vs, the run. Has bulked up from these numbers, I'm told.Scroll down to the 2003 Tennessee-Fresno St Game Highlight of His Sack Gause (6-4 275) Rookie UnDrafted South Carolina -- Tied with Kelsay as the biggest DE. Bigger than Schobel by 13 lbs. A sacking machine for the Gamecocks. Surprised he wasn't picked up early on Day Two of the draft, and I was very excited to see us sign him. Osunde (6-3 255) Year 1 Connecticut -- Did not pass Cleve Browns' physical last year and was placed on their PUP list. He was an undrafted free agent. Supposed to be better in a 3-4, may be a Corey Moore Tweener type. Surprised we picked him up. I'd like to see us carry an extra DT than an extra DE. I'd give Gause the seasoning on the PS and keep Ritzmann on the list of 53, using Ritzmann in obvious pass situations.

I met Kevin Everett at the Miami airport

One only has to remember the Dolphags' 4th Round TE Randy McMichael (Georgia), who became one of the league’s finest pass receiving TE’s as a rookie. I believe the Bungles' Matt Schoebel was a 3rd Rounder, as was Darnell Sanders of the Browns. Justin Peele of the Chargers was a 4th Rounder, I think. These didn't amount to much in Year 1, but hold promise for this year for their respective teams. -
A couple of bad decisions by the former execs: The kiosks haven't panned out the way they thought. Trying to compete with Ofoto and Shutterfly by developing their own online print service (instead of buying and improving Ofoto) was another bad decision. On the other hand, medical test machines are doing very well, and their foray into mass-market digital cameras has been highly successful. Any nepotistic tendencies by big business will cause layoffs as the market changes too quickly to keep people for the sake of keeping them. Would you rather have Kodak leaner and viable, or bloated and nepotistic?

Bills vs Pats, 50 yard line, JP Losman says...

"The top digital camera players were Kodak, Sony, Canon, Olympus, Fuji, HP, and Nikon, in rank order for U.S. 2004 unit sales. The top three vendors are expected to hold their ranks in 2005." --InfoTrends/CAP Ventures Report , July 2005

Kodak didn't reinvent itself at that time, but over the next half year they have emerged as the #1 seller of digital cameras.
-
Kodak will rebound. They are a major force now in digital cameras. They still need to trim from their analog sectors to be lean and mean. Perez is a good man, and will turn the company around.

He looks a bit like Travis Henry on the bench last year. Call him TeeAych.

Just When You Thought It Was Safe

1000 miles? You're still not safe. These sharks can walk 1002 miles. You'll have to move. -
How about Field Position? They have a good, long talk on right now about the Travis Henry trade. Astro

London's in the middle. A new DT is in the middle. All the more tackles for London. I for one don't think we have a backup plan for London getting hurt, but they guy's amazing. Let's hear it for London.
-
Looking here, I notice that London was #5 this season. He stands to rise in the ranks with Zach Thomas and Donnie Edwards getting on in years, and subject to injury. Keith Bulluck was an aberration, and Ray Lewis is likely #1 on this list. Discuss.

You gotta like the fade routes JP was throwing. Haven't seen that lately with Drew.
