  1. Post of the Month!
  2. What if that trade-back involves our RD3 pick? If you look at the dearth of players brought in at RD3, it is a possibility. Look at this custom trade chart. Say HOU trades back with ATL to 6. If HOU (now at 6) wants our RD3 pick for us to move up to 6 ahead of TB for either Evans or Matthews, it's an even swap.
  3. Added CJ Mosley, and he could be in the mix if Matthews is gone. I hope it works out another way, though.
  4. I like the trade-back for Martin/Seferian-Jenkins/ plus OG or Breeland (CB/FS). With whom would we trade? Well... Tennessee wants to get ahead of Detroit at 10, who they fear will take Dennard. That would only be trading down to 11. Not likely. Giants are in the market for a OT at 12. Lewan will be there but might they want Matthews if he slips to us? A bit more likely. St. Louis at 13 makes some sense. They're at 13 and HaHa is no longer a certainty there, and they need to get ahead of Detroit as well. Even more likely.
  5. We have Fuller going earlier and earlier. Last mock, #27, Fuller's now #17 to Baltimore.
  6. You forgot versatile.
  7. http://www.drafttek.com/teamneeds2014.asp Given different Team Needs at RB, and the draft order they're in, I don't see Spiller's value. It'd be better to keep him. Houston P5 St.Louis P6 Jackson P9 Cleveland P6 Oakland P6 Atlanta P5 T-Bay P6 Minneso P6 Buffalo P3
  8. I'm a personal fan of your work, John. ...Have you tried bran???
  9. McKinnon's in for a visit. We have him as a UDFA #359. He blew up the Combine but would need major work as he was a spread QB primarily, but also played on DEFENSE, did some RB, sold popcorn, etc. The NFL site has him #21 RB; we have him #19 RB. I updated the OP with the visits of Watkins, Duvernay-Tardif, and McKinnon.
  10. Fuller's skillset matches the Bills' prototype in the backfield. One of the most versatile players in the Draft, Fuller can play outside at Corner, inside at Nickel, back deep at Safety, and has even played in the box as a Linebacker . His versatility is unmatched. However, not at 9. There are several teams on the 19-29 slots that want backfield, and we're checking Fuller's value to us vs value of a tradedown. or two.
  11. "I shall not diagnose from afar." No self respecting physician or surgeon should ever comment on the prognosis of a person who is not their patient.
  12. You already have Matthews at RD1 and Austin Seferian-Jenkins in RD2. Ability drops off heavily for DE43 after RD4 (although looks like Chris Smith DE43 Arkansas might be there), so do you take Demarcus Lawrence from Boise State here at RD3?
  13. Camp Manuel: EJ Manuel Tony Moeaki Brandon Kaufman Stevie Johnson Kevin Elliot Another article said Robert Woods and C.J. Spiller also attended.A post by Gragg said he was there, too: Retweeted by EJ Manuel Chris Gragg ‏@Gragg80 Mar 27 Good lil week of work with my boys @CJSPILLER @EJManuel3 @TonyMoeaki81 and B Kauf #BillsMafia
  14. Good catch. Their latest one, which I subscribe to, has one QB in RD1.
  15. http://www.ourlads.com/nfl-mock-draft/2014/ - 3 QB in the first 8. Bills take Mack as CLE takes Bridgewater and OAK takes Sammy Watkins. You never know in the Smoke-Mirrors season. Wait until mock draft sites have to submit their mocks for judging the week of the draft. Astro
  16. I just updated the OP to reflect changes in our Big Board. It moves a couple RBs down and moves Zack Martin up, but lots of trade-down options at the end of RD1.
  17. I don't have insider information. We are not used to having the luxury of two excellent Tackles. It's been a while. My guess is that Matthews will be blocking extremely well by Opening Day. Ebron will be blocking well by Octember 32:
  18. Simulated This in a Trade With Rams: 1 13 Buffalo Odell Beckham Jr. WRF LSU 2 41 Buffalo A Seferian-Jenkins TE Washington 2 44 Buffalo Carlos Hyde RBF Ohio State 3 73 Buffalo Brandon Thomas OG Clemson 4 109 Buffalo Demarcus Lawrence DE43 Boise State 5 149 Buffalo Walt Aikens CB-FS Liberty 7 224 Buffalo Eathyn Manumaleuna DT43 Brigham Young or Justin Britt OT Missouri The prevailing attitude is that this is a pass-first league. RBs are a dime a dozen. A 5'9" RB won't be drafted in the 5th when there is a plethora of guys with size. That said, both Spiller and Jackson are FAs next year. We'll likely re-sign Spiller and give Jackson year-long contracts, but we'll have a backup plan in place if either wants too much. I like a handful of these guys this year, including Hyde, Seastrunk and Andre Williams in the first 100 picks and guys like Gaffney-Andrews-McKinnon last 100 picks or UDFA.
  19. Played CB, S, RB, QB at Ga. Southern. I have him tops in Explosion Factor by a lot. McKinnon won't be drafted early, either 7th or UDFA as he's only 5'9", but he's my 15th-rated prospect. Here's my updated list of RBs.
  20. We have him rated RD6#203 but there are some comparisons to current NFL stars here that will show you how athletic he is. He blew up the Combine, especially lateral agility (shuttle under 4 sec) that makes me think of Da'Rick, Alshon Jeffery, even Jordan Matthews this year.
  21. That is the best reason for trading our 9th pick for Beckham and Hyde, allowing us the extra 2nd for OT, OG, DE, FSCB, or TE. Did Janis visit? I missed that one.
  22. I'm getting some commentary on Twitter (which I agree with) that our offense doesn't need a Chandler-Ebron to do the "Three-Tier Read" that Hackett uses. It will use two-three WRs (one deep, one intermediate route, one shallow) and just one TE. There are 3 reads on the play. For a new QB to go through 3 reads, it takes time...given to you by a great OT.
  23. I bet we can make this the longest thread on the first page.
  24. Updated Bills' Visit Mock Draft Each of the Bills' past four RD1 picks made a pre-draft visit to the Bills.
