  1. I can't disagree with our ranking, although we should be higher than the Lions. Flutie one of our greatest players ever? Nah. I would agree that the 51-3 thrashing of the Raidahs was our greatest moment. I watch that one at least annually during a slow month...oh, that's now.
  2. Drunk people don't ever attend to what they are doing, much less where they are walking. This is not to exonerate Lynch, who should get what's scumming to him. Nothing good ever happens at that hour. If you have a posse, their job is to keep you out of trouble.
  3. I've signed it. You have my prayers and kudos to you for getting this going. Nobody should have to bear this burden. A toast to you...
  4. I want to see a Bills Media video showing Whitner's basement system.
  5. "If I find where that shoe shine boy's hiding, I'm tearing him a new one."
  6. I got rid of my Dodge Dakota and bought a H 1/2 (Honda Element) in orange. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/49/12817922...d656621.jpg?v=0 Best two features are hosing out the urethane floor and the aux plug for my Slacker player. http://www.slacker.com/
  7. Congratulations, Lori. You're one knowledgeable Bills fan. You need to get a Leif, not a life! Astro
  8. Congratulations to the 'Cuse. Best Picture: http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vau.../6/11/index.htm
  9. Until the Bills get their own local website people the problem isn't going to go away. This company sucks, has always sucked, and ... still gets business from about 5 major league teams.
  10. Just signed the petition. Hope everyone does. I'm with you, man...
  11. ON MCKELVIN AND SPECIAL TEAMS: Jock #2: We're going 0900 J-Gate, what do think fuzzy boy, you big enough? Barry B. Benson: That depends, on what 0900 means? ----------- ADVICE FOR TAILGATERS: Lou Lo Duca: As always watch your brooms, hockey sticks, dogs, birds, bears and bats. Also I got a couple reports of Root Beer being poured on us! Murphy's in a home because of it, just babbling like a cicada! --------- MARSHAWN'S MANY RELATIVES: Adam Flayman: Wow! She looked hot! Barry B. Benson: She's my cousin! Adam Flayman: She is? Barry B. Benson: Yes, we're *all* cousins. -----------------
  12. RUSS BRANDON AND PETERS' AGENT: Cow: You're a lawyer too? Mooseblood: Ma'am, I was already a bloodsucking parasite. All I needed was a briefcase! ---- ABOUT THE BILLS' DRAFT: Barry B. Benson: Quite a lot of pomp, under the circumstances. Martin Benson: We're very proud of you son and a perfect report card; all B's! ----- ABOUT BILLY B AND THE CHEATRIOTS: Barry B. Benson: Look at these faces. They never knew what hit them and now they're on the road to nowhere.
  13. He wore size 13 shoes, had a penchant for the sweet wings, girlfriend was a cousin of Pat McGroyne, had a tattoo of barbed wire on his left--no it was his right bicep, and always said, "Get me?". Great guy.
  14. Does this get me inside the fence at St. John Fisher???
  15. Agree fully with this. I think we'll do in the Broncos and Jags. And the Balls.
  16. I think the reason the Bills went with DE over Connor is that they had ILB Poz coming back from injury and figure OLB Crowell grew up quick last year. Plus with Kawicka Mitchell, they had starters (plus DiGiorgio etc. who got on-field experience). They also knew they had to replace Hargrove's pass rush. It'd be fun having 2 guys from Linebacker U, though. Any idea how they got along? I understand that Dre Moore interviewed poorly at the combine and workouts, and I think a lot of teams soured on a pretty good player. Barrett should do well with Denver, as Shanahan is looking for an "in the box" type safety. Barrett can bite on a fake more easily, so he's less of a Cover-2 safety, IMO.
  17. I wouldn't worry about JP throwing something at Trent. He'd overthrow it.
  18. In Round 1, I like McKelvin better than the next 3 picks ( Clady, Ryan OT / Stewart, Jonathan RB / Williams, Chris OT). In Round 2, I like Hardy better than the next 3 picks ( Royal, Eddie WR / Johnson, Tyrell FS/ Forte, Matt RB). In Round 3, I like Chris Ellis better than the next 3 picks (Charles, Jamaal RB / Connor, Dan OLB / Smith, Reggie DB). In Round 4, I like Reggie Corner better than the next 3 picks (Moore, Dre DT /Iwebema, Kenny DE / Demps, Quintin FS), In Round 4, I like Derek Fine better than the next 3 picks ( Hale, David OT /Keglar, Stanford OLB / Sitton, Josh OT). In Round 5, I like Alvin Bowen better than the next 3 picks (Powell, Carlton DT /Hightower, Tim RB /Giacomini, Breno OT ). In Round 6, I like Xavier Omon better than the next 3 picks (Moore, Kareem DB /Hayden, Nick DT /Robinson, Kevin WR ). RD7: Demetrius Bell looks like a better pick than Barrett, Josh S/ Taylor, Hilee OLB / Adams, Chester OG Steve Johnson looks like a better pick than Keith, Brandon OT /Schilens, Chaz WR /Hillis, Peyton FB And who knows whether Kennard Cox is a better pick than Mr. Irrelevant? I'd vote that I like all the Bills' picks better. I know some of you would probably choose Connor or Smith over Ellis in Round 3, and I know local boy Brandon Albert might have been a good choice in Round 1. Perhaps you'd choose Dre Moore over Corner in Round 4 (although the Bills must have considered Moore less value than existing DT's). Now that you've had some time for the Bills' picks to soak in, where would you have picked differently given the subsequent picks made by other clubs?
  19. Best part (besides the Clements signing not doing anything to improve the SF defense) was : Instead of listening to the cries of many that they needed to improve their pass defense, the Vikings signed defensive end Jared Allen. Allen will singlehandedly improve a porous unit that allowed 4,500 yards in the air last season. Defensive backs are nice to have, but a special pass rusher is what can make a defense shine. I would have preferred a DE, too, but remember that the top DE's were off the board at our pick. Chris Ellis may surprise, but I think he won't be any more special than Hargrove--moments of brilliance, and many series of ehhh.
  20. I always thought Endora was hot. Anyone know if she's taking the dirt nap?
  21. John I always enjoy your optimism. Great read. (Kyle Williams, not Kevin Williams. Kevin is still doing the weather in Rochester.)
  22. I would add that Josh Reed is a fine downfield blocker and that Hardy on the outside will spread out the defense more.
