  1. And If people root for the laundry, I better not see any Lynch jerseys at Training Camp.
  2. Good Job. Here's my question. I've heard that MovieMaker is incompatible with SONY (my camera), and XP is incompatible with MovieMaker. I have been trying a workaround by using Media Converter (freeware) to convert my MPEG's to other file formats. Have you experienced any of these frustrations? Astro
  3. Earthwind Moreland, Rhein Fire, NFL Europe. Siddeeq Shabazz, 7th round (32nd pick) by the Oakland Raiders, now on Dolphins Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (KGB)
  4. Posluszny on defense. I think the D-Line (esp. McCargo and Stroud) allow our LB's to do what they are supposed to. On offense, it's Lynch. He will take the maximum advantage of what Turk is planning for this offense, including much more use as a receiver.
  5. Looks like Williams will be "dressing" for all the games. They must feel he's good at his Kraft.
  6. Dear Mr. Favr-uh, We are growing tired of your "I'm retiring...No I'm not...Yes I am...No I wanna play...Yes, I physically can't...No I still have the itch" crep. It's a distraction for the team. Signed, James Hardy Marshawn Lynch
  7. Best Thread title of the year, Beerball. I know a guy who yin-yanged his knee during a pick up baseball game during Reception Week in Basic Training. He never even got a pillowcase for his bunk. They sent him home and the rest of us did our tour. Not sure Viti will be slogging through the sand in Iraq with those knees.
  8. Surely a name change will take place if the Chargers relocate: The Eureka Vacuum? The Death Valley Daze? The Mammoth Midgets? The Needles Tattoos? The Pasadena Passdepeanuts? The Merced EEzbenz? The Coalinga Cunning Linguists?
  9. I won't even bring up the Ted Kennedy reference to Chippewaquiddick.
  10. I like the laughs when they said, "What about the New York Jets?"
  11. My son's Boise State is in Fresno State's conference. He was whoopin' and hollerin' for Fresno. The MAC is a conference with a growing rep.-- First the shocking Boise State win over Oklahoma and now Fresno over Georgia.
  12. I'm impressed with our depth for the most part. 1. Very Good Depth on Defense - the way we play, the D-Line will all see weekly action, our LB's have more game experience than most teams, and our backfield is at least average 2. Schouman has been impressing, Parrish is just sick, and Hardy will start by midseason 3. Jackson can keep us in a game when Lynch is sitting (already has) 4. O-Line needs more time but may get it by regular season
  13. Giving long-term contracts early to guys with good potential always works well. See Peters, Jason.
  14. I just read a fun article. Thought it'd be fuel for discussion! http://www.ruthlessreviews.com/reviews.cfm...d_patriots.html Some wonderful quotes in there. Astro
  15. I liked Flagler's work in the red zone. Great on fade routes and unafraid of the over-the-middle stuff. I also wonder if they are considering Flagler for KR or PR duty. Could be that they want McGee and McKelvin focusing only on DB.
  16. But the victim wore a mask; that's way different. We're proud of you for breaking the silence, though. We won't be voting you off this island.
  17. The best part is the accupuncturist that's assisting Jones: "Dr. D.S. Ping is confident things are going to work out well for Jones. The holistic-medicine practitioner and sports agent, who does not represent Jones, has been leading Jones through workouts six days a week. Ping has performed heat acupuncture on Jones' knee, worked him out in his basement gym, jiujitsu dojo and on a golf course for sprinting, shuffling and cutting and in a rec-center pool." Wonder how he would do with Lynch's pain.
  18. Peerless Price Authentic, $199 http://www.collegegear.com/sf/stores/1660/p-225976.shtml Lots of places are selling the regular jersey for $29.99. http://www.cbssportsstore.com/sm-nfl-equip...pi-2441142.html
  19. Best Wishes From the St. John Fisher area, Millbank. Feel Better Soon.
  20. The Browns seem to have pretty good defensive backs. I don't understand their interest in Youboty. But. They have Cieslak (ex-Bill), Dinkins (old), Heiden (age 32 but their recordholder for TE's), Rucker (Rookie), Kapanui (39 receptions for 481 yards and 7 TDs in 2007 with West Texas A&M), Rucker (Rookie) and Winslow (Starter) at TE. I think Kapanui and Cieslak are battling for #3 TE. How about Youboty for Rucker?
  21. "Youboty update: The Browns have expressed interest in trading for Bills cornerback and former Ohio State star Ashton Youboty, but a source close to the Bills said Wednesday that Buffalo does not intend to trade Youboty at this time. A third-year pro, Youboty is expected to be given a chance to compete in camp with the three cornerbacks the Bills drafted this year. If they decide to part with Youboty, they'd probably do so for a future pick. A third-round pick of the Bills in 2006, Youboty was coached by Browns offensive coordinator Mel Tucker at Ohio State. He fell out of favor in Buffalo after missing much of his rookie camp following the death of his mother, then suffered a high ankle sprain last year. " Source I'd take a 3rd Rounder next year for Youboty. I'd also like to look at the Cleveland roster to see where their excess players are to figure out a trade.
  22. But nobody will admit to having a soft spot for a Package. I liked Winfield the most, but was actually more disappointed when Fletcher left.
