Your draft would be a perfect draft. I would still take Dareus in RD1 over Bowers if we persist at running a 3-4 as Dareus isn't as scheme-specific, is bigger, is the better run defender, and seals the edge better.

This may be the first year you don't see a RB, WR and possibly DB drafted in the first 5 rounds.

That is my doing. TSW decided to lower our priority for QB if we didn't get Andrew Luck. Currently I have QB set to Priority 9 but with a grab on Luck and Fairley if they fall to us. We can certainly discuss taking Cam Newton after Fitz's bad game vs. the Pats. Astro

Maybe he's thinking of drafting one. Sione Fua has a similar stature, height/weight, and would be a mid-2nd rounder. Steven Paea is a late first rounder but I think that's too early for us when our needs are elsewhere.

I need to submit positional needs to DraftTek, and have a couple of questions. Here is my current list of priorities. P1 (can only have one) - none P2- RT, LT, DT34, DE34, OLB34, with OLB set at Multiple (get 2) P3- WILB, SILB (SAM and WILL); TE P4- QB, WRP (possession WR) P6- WRF (featured WR), OG P9 All other positions QUESTIONS: Would you like to see QB moved to P9? If it's set to P1 you probably get Cam Newton, and at P4 you're likely to get Dalton, Devlin or Kaepernick. Want to see RT set at P1? Want me to remove the Multiple tag from OLB and only get one OLB? What is Poz, a SAM or a WILL inside backer? Does one of those need to change? Is it time to reduce the need for WR to the lowest setting P9? Astro

That said, I'd take Quinn in a heartbeat. He'd be a wonderful 2nd Round pick. Quinn/Moch, Dareus/Moch, or even Bowers/Moch, and we've definitely upped our defensive pressure.

We had Owen Schmitt and Peyton Hillis rated 7th Round. Running backs were not in demand by our Analysts, so they plummeted down the list. BTW, this year, there doesn't seem to be much demand for running backs, but lots of demand for CB's and DE's. Schmitt would have been more multipurpose but not as good a runner between the tackles, and would have been less fumble prone LOL

Luck is the better QB right now. I think Newton has the potential to be even better, but will have a longer break-in period. That's why he'll go to a team later in the first round who already has a Pro Bowl QB in place.
