  1. I'm trying to put together a 7-rounder with just Gailey's South squad. Boy, he has some talent. The South will win. The big boys aren't in this game, so it was a good challenge. Here's what I came up with: (trade down with ARI, CIN, CLE for position to get their QB) - Takes their 2nd this yr. and next year) 1-Derek Sherrod LT 2-Allen Bailey DE43 2-Sam Acho OLB 3-Luke Stocker TE 4-Chris White ILB 4-Lee Ziemba RT 5-Jarvis Jenkins DT43 6-Clint Boling OG 7-Edmond Gates WR I am particularly pleased with the linebackers we'd end up with. Hopefully Gailey (and Nix's) familiarity with these guys will help maximize the results we get from this draft class, particularly in the later rounds.
  2. try ccleaner or registry mechanic.
  3. Forget best player available. Draft the best name available. 1-Derek Sherrod - Goes nicely with Levitre and Wood 2-DeMarcus Love - Now we have SureRod Levitre Wood Love 3-Jerrell Powe - Nose Tackle 4-Jabaal Sheard - DE 4-Chimdi Chekwa - CB 5-Roy Helu - RB 6-Coby Fleener - TE 7-Alex Wujciak - ILB Just watch. One of these players will be on our roster!
  4. 2 things: (1) Wannstedt was obviously brought in to provide what Gailey/Nix/Edwards lack: 4-3 expertise. (2) Players who are scheme-specific will be less likely to be drafted by the Bills: On our Big Board there is a column "P2 Diff". This is "Position 2 Differential", or the number of slots the player slides if selected for the second position listed. Players Where It Makes No Difference: Fairley DE34 DT43 Peterson FS CB Players Who Are Scheme-Specific: Dareus DT43 DE34 Bowers DE43 DE34 Quinn OLB34 DE43 Sherrod LOT ROT Ayers SILB OLB34 2 things: (1) Wannstedt was obviously brought in to provide what Gailey/Nix/Edwards lack: 4-3 expertise. 5. Batten, a 4-year DE in college, was initially put at OLB but switched to ILB. He has been attending all meetings and drills. He would make a great ILB sidekick to Poz in either the 3-4 or backup for Poz in a 4-3. I love his ability to tackle and slough off a block in traffic. He'll play on ST, too. Moats really came on in the last 4 games. He had a steep learning curve but he's best as a pass-rushing OLB. We're still going to take two LB's in this draft, or sign a very good free agent.
  6. It's been a year. I just tried playing basketball after not doing it for a year. My body's telling it wasn't a good idea (To stop, I mean). Quinn checks out well in the character department; he has slept with absolutely NO sisters!! Like the selection or not, AJ Green is the high-character, can't-miss pick this year like CJ Spiller's pick was last year. That's why I didn't check Green's name. The concept of taking BPA at #3 is growing on me.
  7. Tell me about Moffitt. Would you move Wood to OC and have Linnenkohl or Hangartner as the backup, or both?
  8. Carter only drops because he's more of a 4-3 OLB, and he's not even on our board as a 3-4 OLB. Not as many teams are 4-3 teams (although 2 more than last year are running it as base), so he drops. We have him as the 5th best OLB behind Mark Herzlich and Mason Foster, and he's 95th overall.
  9. Our Big Board has these as our Top 10 right now, before the Underwear Olympics: Rnk Player College Ht Wt Position1 Position2 P2Difference RecentChange 1 Nick Fairley Auburn 6'4" 298 DE34 DT43 0 +1 2 Prince Amukamara Nebraska 6'1" 205 CB +1 3 Da'Quan Bowers Clemson 6'4" 278 DE43 DE34 -8 +2 4 Patrick Peterson LSU 6'1" 211 FS CB 0 +2 5 A.J. Green Georgia 6'4" 205 WRF +5 6 Cameron Jordan California 6'4" 285 DE43 DE34 -5 +2 7 Robert Quinn North Carolina 6'5" 268 OLB34 DE43 -7 +2 8 Marcell Dareus Alabama 6'3" 306 DT43 DE34 -52 -4 9 Mark Ingram Alabama 5'10" 215 RBF -2 10 J.J. Watt Wisconsin 6'6" 285 DE34 DE43 -4 +6 Dareus is rated #8 overall. Notice that Bowers drops 8 slots when he's considered as a DE in a 3-4 as opposed to a 4-3. Dareus drops 52 slots (which is too much) when he's considered as a DE34. This is why I'm beginning to change my mind about who the Bills might take. I was in the Dareus camp right away, but I'm willing to say I need to be more open-minded.
  10. Would you throw a brick at the TV if it were Peterson in RD#1?
  11. DRAFT A (ALMOST ALL DEFENSE): We need a QB early, but we need to stop the run. Grab D-line pressure early, get mean LB's: 1 3 Buffalo Marcell Dareus DE34 Alabama 2 34 Buffalo Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri 3 68 Buffalo Jeremy Beal OLB34 Oklahoma 4 99 Buffalo Casey Matthews ILB Oregon 4 121 Buffalo Virgil Green TE Nevada 5 130 Buffalo Anthony Gray DT34 Southern Miss 6 164 Buffalo Curt Porter OT Jacksonville State 7 195 Buffalo Mike Blanc DE34 Auburn DRAFT B (BIG BOARD): Just grab highest-valued player left at our pick (unless already picked that position): 1 3 Buffalo Da'Quan Bowers DE43 Clemson 2 34 Buffalo Martez Wilson ILB Illinois 3 68 Buffalo Christian Ponder QB Florida State 4 99 Buffalo Mike McNeill TE Nebraska 4 121 Buffalo Jarvis Jenkins DT43 Clemson 5 130 Buffalo Lee Ziemba OT Auburn 6 164 Buffalo John Clay RBF Wisconsin 7 195 Buffalo Stanley Havili FB USC DRAFT C (CONSENSUS DRAFT link 1 3 Buffalo Marcell Dareus DE34 Alabama 2 34 Buffalo DeMarcus Love RT Arkansas 3 68 Buffalo Jerrell Powe DT34 Mississippi 4 99 Buffalo Luke Stocker TE Tennessee 4 121 Buffalo Wayne Daniels ILB TCU 5 130 Buffalo Casey Matthews ILB Oregon 6 164 Buffalo Scott Tolzien QB Wisconsin 7 195 Buffalo Alex Linnenkohl OC Oregon State I
  12. I'm going overboard here, but this will be a great draft for LB's, especially if you don't just pick 3-4 OLB's. Good year to build a defense! 1-Marcell Dareus DE34 Alabama 2-Martez Wilson ILB Illinois 3-Wayne Daniels OLB34 TCU 4-Sione Fua DT34 Stanford or Andre Branch OLB34 Clemson 4-Casey Matthews ILB Oregon 5-Colin Kaepernick QB Nevada 6-Joseph Barksdale OT LSU 7-Coby Fleener TE Stanford 5-
  13. On our Team Needs page, FOUR teams have the highest priority codes assigned (P1) at the QB position. Washington and SF could be added to this list. Tennessee and Detroit will also be looking to add depth. Quite a few overrated QBs will likely go earlier than we might have expected. Especially Newton.
  14. Eddie: "Mommy, I have a new word that I learned on an Internet chat site." Mother: "What is it, dear?" Eddie: "BONERVILLE!!!!"
  15. I want to find out how we at TSW stand about getting a QB in this draft. I have been carrying QB at P6 (pretty low; only P9 is lower) for the last 4 weeks, and this week the Correspondents'Mock Draft has us taking Scott Tolzien in Round6. Not a bad late round QB (I'd take Enderle) but should I just set our QB priority to P9, meaning no QB will be picked? Astro
  16. I like your choices. A lot. However, I think we have 1.5 QB's when we usually go to camp with 4. I'll be keeping DraftTek's Positional Need for QB at P6 (pretty low) and wait for Andrew Luck or Matt Barkley.
