  1. Right now the Bills would have Gabbert, Locker, Sturdivant. That's a strong QB class LOL
  2. Here's my Third Annual attempt at drafting players who have at least seen snow. Trade With SF for their RD1#7, 2nd rounder RD1-OT Anthony Castonzo, Hawthorn Woods, IL RD2-ILB Martez Wilson, Chicago, IL RD2-QB Jake Locker, Ferndale, WA RD3-OLB Mark Herzlich, Wayne, PA RD4-OG John Moffitt, Guilford, CT RD4-OLB Greg Jones, Cincinnati, OH RD5-OT Joseph Barksdale, Detroit, MI RD6-CB Chris L. Rucker, Warren, OH RD7-NT Blaine Sumner, Conifer, CO RD7-ILB Nick Bellore, Whitefish Bay, WI
  3. DraftTek Simulation for your Washington Trade (with some Astro-Modification!) Washington gets #3, Buffalo gets #10 and #41 plus next year's #1. 1 10 Buffalo Cameron Jordan DE34 California (or JJ Watt DE34 or Nick Fairley DE/DT) 2 34 Buffalo Jake Locker QB Washington 2 41 Buffalo Brooks Reed OLB34 Arizona (or Martez Wilson ILB) 3 68 Buffalo K.J. Wright ILB Mississippi State (or John Moffitt OG Wisconsin) 4 100 Buffalo James Carpenter OT Alabama 4 122 Buffalo Virgil Green TE Nevada 5 133 Buffalo James Brewer OT Indiana 6 169 Buffalo Brandon Hogan CB West Virginia 7 206 Buffalo Terry Griffin DT34 Elizabeth City State 7 245 Buffalo Rob McGill OT Louisiana Tech I'd pull the trigger on that trade.
  4. You can vote for any number of players, Bill... Keep 'em coming folks!
  5. The best comment below the article is: "The question now should be does [Newton]have the aptitude to learn the [NFL playcalling] verbiage? One would have to assume the former Blinn Junior College and Sociology major at Auburn will find it a snap ;-]"
  6. Excellent summary, Bangarang. While he was gameplanned for, and often double-teamed, Quinn was made a non-factor. I think Quinn has upside, but he was inconsistent a year ago. He'll have a better 2nd and 3rd year in the NFL, and needs to be on a team with a line that can make lanes for him.
  7. Sheard will be a FS, Reed is most likely a pass-rushing 3-4 OLB who can bring it inside as well. This type of player won't be available later on.
  8. Please provide the YouTube link and the time during the video that this occurred.
  9. I think Jacksonville has him pretty high, but Locker, Mallett, Ponder and Kaepernick are likely there for their #16 pick.. If JJ Watt is there though, they'll let QB slide until RD2.
  10. Take the NT early and the OLB34 early. The talent pool is not as deep there. Best NT's that will be starting in the NFL are Phil Taylor, then Jerrell Powe / Kenrick Ellis. Maybe Chris Nield but I doubt it. They will all go earlier than their Big Board rank because of the scarcity. Taylor will go #21 to KC, #30 Jets, or to us at #34. Powe and Ellis could go in either order but #55 KC, #68 Bills, and #76 SF are likely.
  11. Agree. Let the QB go. Take the draft's premier pass rusher here and ILB, NT or OT in the next round. You need 3 immediate starters from this draft minimum, not Blaine Benchrider.

  13. IF you believe Nix (big if), he likes the OLB's on the squad better than the ILB position, especially with Poz as yet unsigned for a contract extension. Here's how OLB Reed and ILB Martez Wilson fall to us at #34: 1 23 Philadelphia Jimmy Smith CB Colorado P1Grab -6 Reach 1 24 New Orleans Aldon Smith DE43 Missouri P2 7 Value 1 25 Seattle Brandon Harris CB Miami (FL) P3O 5 Value 1 26 Baltimore Leonard Hankerson WRF Miami (FL) P3R -16 Reach 1 27 Atlanta Nate Solder LOT Colorado P3O 0 Value 1 28 New England Muhammad Wilkerson DE34 Temple P2 6 Value 1 29 Chicago Stefen Wisniewski OC Penn State P2Grab 4 Value 1 30 NY Jets Jabaal Sheard OLB34 Pittsburgh P2Grab -18 Reach 1 31 Pittsburgh Davon House CB New Mexico State P3R -8 Reach 1 32 Green Bay Jason Pinkston LOT Pittsburgh P3 -5 Reach 2 33 New England Mark Ingram RBF Alabama P3Grab 14 Value 2 34 Buffalo Martez Wilson SILB Illinois P2 4 Value 2 35 Cincinnati Christian Ponder QB Florida State P1 -15 Reach 2 36 Denver Stephen Paea DT43 Oregon State P3 10 Value 2 37 Cleveland Brooks Reed OLB34 Arizona P9Grab -7 Reach 2 38 Arizona Aaron Williams CB Texas P2 -7 Reach 2 39 Tennessee Mason Foster OLB43 Washington P3O 4 Value
  14. I have adjusted your numbers to fit the directions given. I'm sure it's not the first time for you.
  15. Intensity is infectious, or so the Bills hope with the fiery, versatile Reed. The attitude of newbies Reed, Coleman, and Merriman (and Fairley—see RD1) will hearken back to Biscuit and Talley days. Reed‘s size, explosion (10-yd split is faster than all DE’s, Moch, or Miller), and agility lets him be an elite sack-artist or an inside run defender at either OLB or ILB. His outstanding leverage causes matchup problems going after QB’s; he’s unblockable with a RB or TE. He reminds us of Defensive Player of the Year Clay Matthews—just with a faster explosion at the snap.
  16. The braintrust is growing old. They'll pick Jordan Cameron!
  17. Da'Quan Bowers, dropping 3. May be a considerably bigger drop come draft day, but he'll stay in the first round.
