  1. I think Wood was drafted with the intentions of becoming the C eventually. Hopefully, the injury doesn't interfere with this. Hangartner is still valuable as a backup, which we could always use, that is to say if he isn't moved to G. Does he have any experience playing G?
  2. Good to hear that Wood is progressing nicely. Who else thinks he transitions to C at some point this year? Whether its Day 1 or halfway through the season I think he's gonna replace Hangartner.
  3. If we were to somehow get Williams, I would want to target another NT later in the draft, which would have to be Torrell Troup then. If Williams ends up elsewhere as you suggest, I would like Cam Thomas in the 2nd.
  4. As dgrid pointed out, wrong Scott. I believe he is a UFA anyhow.
  5. Klopfenstein and Hamdan not too surprising at all. As for Incognito and Scott, I would have at least kept Incognito for depth/insurance. Scott not so much, he didn't impress me last season, but any help on the O-line would have helped. I just don't understand why they let 2 O-lineman go.
  6. I have no clue if thats possible either, but am inclined to think not. I completely agree with this. I believe that KW will continue to get better and surprise some people.
  7. I didn't suggest changing the round, that was another poster, dgrid I think. Anyway, I wouldn't be so quick to give up our 1st round pick.
  8. Awesome. Do you have a link?
  9. I haven't kept up with this, so Gaither has a 1st round tender on him? I would agree except it looks like that would mean we lose our 1st rounder which I definitely don't want.
  10. If this is true, he should be the first guy we target once FA starts. No doubt this would save a higher draft pick. We should still draft a DT but not with our 2nd pick like it looks like we might now.
  11. I wouldn't be opposed to this. If Nix likes him and Gailey can work with him, he's worth the pick.
  12. So, Ellison was tendered. Big whoop. I don't see why people are making such a big deal out of this. Sure he may not be starting material but like others have said he does play with heart and is a decent backup player. Tendering him is actually smart because now he has some trade value and if they don't deal him he can be kept as valuable depth and/or used on special teams. Personally, I don't LOVE the guy but I don't HATE him either and I don't see where people are getting this feeling. Like stated before, he was a 6th round pick who has played well. He's not a stud, but he is worth something.
  13. Just because ND didn't have a stellar record doesn't mean that Tate or Clausen are any less of players. Personally, I like Golden Tate, not sold on Clausen though. I also really like Gerhart but I don't see the Bills justifying drafting him unless they deal ML.
  14. Ah, okay. I wasn't aware of Pittsburgh's situation, but it makes more sense now.
  15. I love this analysis. I think the Bills need the guy who will be an immediate impact, which is Bulaga. Anyone of them has a good shot of being a good LT, but if we get our choice, I would want Bulaga.
  16. Personally, I've never heard of the guy before. But this article speaks highly of him so I wouldn't mind at all if the Bills at least took a look at him. If Schobel retires and we can't sign a decent OLB in FA, OLB will be a priority in the draft for sure and this guys sounds like he would fit in well with our needs.
  17. That's good news. I basically figured that was the plan but hadn't heard anything concrete.
  18. Sorry if you didn't catch that hint of sarcasm. I know how hard that will be, that is why I want the Bills to stay put and draft their LT. I would be PO'd as well. I just really don't like the notion of moving up, but that's me.
  19. IMHO... you do so after the O-line is set, then you get your guy. I think that the Jets are a great example of this. Not only did their great O-line help Sanchez but it fueled their running game as well, taking some pressure off of Sanchez. So, maybe next year if we feel better about the O-line then we trade up and get our franchise guy. (a la the Jets)
  20. Houston could definitely use another RB like Spiller to take some pressure off of Slaton, so I agree with Astrobot that that's a bad move. And I also don't like that Miami gets him Bryant probably will go too early...how funny would it be if Oakland took him? Plus, I like that we are getting Bulaga
  21. I like your fix at DT. As far as the QB, I could go either way, don't have too much of an opinion on either guy.
  22. That's another option, but I do agree that moving up isn't the answer.
  23. Any news on Lonnie Harvey lately? I believe he could fill that role.
