Substitute Dareus for Bowers in draft B along with possibly a DB in the later rounds and it looks good to me.

I like this mock better. As I stated before, I'd really like for Dareus and Wilson to be our first two picks. Instant impact players in my opinion.

I love the Dareus pick at #3 but I would rather take Martez Wilson the ILB from Illinois in the second. After that I don't know too much about those other guys. However, concerning the QB, I would like it if we grabbed Ponder in the third of fourth if he is still there. Just my opinion.

Okay, maybe I should have said rule instead of rules, but I personally think that that particular rule was wrong in this instance.

I don't know if it's just me, but after watching that game I have a much lesser opinion of Ray Lewis.

When I say most people, I mean the average football fan who looks at that and says "hey, he caught that ball and would've landed inbounds if not for Boldin, that's an interception." I don't mean the people who are either referees or people who trust that the rules are 100% correct. In my opinion, most people would say, intuitively, Reggie Corner caught that ball inbounds. That's all I'm trying to say.

I just think that in that situation, the rule is flawed. To most people, that is a pretty obvious interception.

I was not pleased with those refs at all. I don't care about some silly rule, Corner had an obvious interception that could have changed the outcome of the game.

+1 I always thought Stevie Johnson would step up eventually and what a game to do it. Even though we lost, he played a tremendous game.

My quick analysis: We now have an offense. We don't have a defense.

I thought Troup played pretty well yesterday. About as good as I would expect from a rookie DT thats getting his first real action this year. He definitely showed some potential, imo.

I could definitely see that happening. It would be a nice to (hopefully) have a TE thats actually a receiving threat.

You have to understand that it was an impossible task for Nix/Gailey to turn this franchise around in one season, this will take at least three years. The first year of that consists essentially of evaluating everyone currently on the roster and you can't completely do that in the pre-season, you just can't. Nix/Gailey wants to see how the players perform in the regular season so they know how to draft/sign in the upcoming off-season(s). If they know what they are doing (fingers crossed) the team will start to come together after a couple of years. It's far too early to clearly see the full extent of their plans.
