You seem nice. Why can't we be civil after a loss?
-
I agree with almost all of your points except the one regarding Shady. I think he has yet to be given enough carries in a game to find a rhythm and get going this year. Not ready to call him done just yet. And yes I am in the minority camp that thinks Zay can still be a decent WR. Probably not worth his draft position at this point, but I think he can be a quality WR in real WR corps.
-
I have absolutely no idea why it seemed every pass play was long developing when Josh was getting blitzed like crazy. I am hesitant to put a lot of fault on the WRs because I feel the play calling was freaking terrible compared to last week. Not saying they are any good...just that the offensive game plan left a lot to be desired.

Week 4: Packers Game Preparation - Inactives Announced

I would like to see a healthy does of both McCoy and Ivory. Sprinkle in some Murphy too, just get everyone involved and run right at them. Take the pressure off Josh to constantly make plays against the blitz. He will still need to hit a few passes downfield to keep the defense honest though. -
Ranking of QBs from past 2 drafts

Much better than the "actually bad Cowboys"! Speaking of which, Prescott has REALLY taken a step back. I think that team around him his rookie year made him look much better than he actually is. -

I don't know what's worse. This image or the one with armadillo hands on Zay. -
Nice! That's a sweet tip for Thursday nights. I actually just changed kickers lol but I will take your advice. Either way, here's to TG playing well and staying healthy!
-
Yeah, it is a close call. I definitely believe Njoku's value will go up at some point, but I think I want to see it first before I play him. To be honest I could see him being a bigger factor in the Brown's offense than Rudolph is in the Viking's offense as the season plays out. But for now, I will have to get over the Thursday night jitters and play Rudolph.
-
Good point. Then I will just stew over it all weekend lol I have been leaning towards Wentz, but Goff's success so far this season is tempting. I do have a couple other players tonight too. Gurley stays in obviously. But do you think I should I consider taking Rudolph out for Njoku? Does Mayfield make him a viable starter now? Then again Rudolph could have a good game with the Rams secondary being banged up. Gah, I find these Thursday night games frustrating.
-
I have been going back and forth on this one and unfortunately have to decide tonight. Goff has been playing very well to start the season and has tons of weapons. On the other hand, Wentz shook off the rust last week and is likely getting Jeffery back this week. Both have tough defensive matchups this week (Goff vs Minn & Wentz vs Tenn) and you also have to factor in Thursday night games often being goofy. Thoughts?

Well, that's silly.

I think I read he ended up on their PS? I have no idea what the PS eligibility rules are anymore because I would not have thought Coleman would have eligibility.

Totally agree. The way I see it, the AFCE could become a division similar to the AFCN of recent memory. Bills and Jets vying for top dog each year in a tense rivalry (Ravens and Steelers) with the Dolphins constantly in the mix and sometimes a bit better (Bengals) while the Pats* are miserable (Browns).

Predict the score: Bills at Packers

20 Bills 17 Packers Hughes has another big day. Defense prevents a game winning drive by GB in final minutes. -

I expect we will see Alexander on the line again this week on passing downs as well. Get him lined up against the backup G and I would think they could easily get pressure with 4 men again. That Murphy, Williams, Alexander, Hughes line was stupid good. -

Dude was all over the place. I love watching him play. Looking more and more like an absolute steal in the 5th round. -
If the Bills play like they did in Minny - I see W's. That's a HUGE if.

I would think McDermott. Though I think the Bills have Boettger listed as a T now when he was a G throughout preseason. Wonder why the change there? -
Who does he have to hurdle this week? Matthews? Seriously though, he threw the ball pretty damn well the entire first half. Twitter blows.
-
Yeah, we could pretty much just go down the depth chart to be honest.
-
But what if he finds his hands at GB? What then?!
