  1. By my eye he seemed like a reasonable depth player. Pretty sure roughly half the OL had their contracts up, so not too much of a surprise someone was signed to stick around for camp at least.
  2. If he has a layover in Charlotte on the way up, does that count?
  3. I think he is on vacation after yesterday.
  4. Throwback thread! Let's do it!
  5. Great point. If the top of class, proven veteran guys are already gone then you might as well take the young guy on the upswing rather than a 'safe' retread.
  6. Maybe his glower will help motivate Dawkins off his hot seat?
  7. Complains that McBean bring in too many people from Carolina, but then includes them on his list to pad numbers. This narrative is so frustrating and ridiculous. Did he not read the earlier post made about other teams having more former players on the Bills than Carolina?
  8. Meh, the disdain for this hire does not come close to that for the ST coordinator. Maybe the future WR coach thread will be more entertaining
  9. The Carolina connection is essentially non-existent on this one. So many knee jerk reactions by people ready to complain about something.
  10. Good point and that's about where I am with this too.
  11. I think you were being sarcastic, but so far it seems like people have actual reasons to be optimistic with this hire.
  12. I don't know enough about him to have an opinion, but I am sure people will tell me he's bad because of the Carolina connection
  13. I would like to see Rivers get one, but the Saints are the most complete team IMO.
  14. Yup, I agree with this. Also remember that he has had essentially zero run game to support him for the majority of his time in Detroit.
  15. That's pretty much where I am on this. Gase should help Darnold develop, but I am not sold on him being a HC. Honestly seems like one of those guys that is just a much better coordinator than HC.
  16. Context appears to be troubling for many here.
  17. Sark definitely seemed to be on the hot seat, but I was a little surprised he canned them all.
  18. I think so. Didn't Dan Quinn just fire all his coordinators after this season? Either way, I think Armstrong would be a solid hire and upgrade over Crossman.
  19. Oh is that true? I had heard his name thrown around as a FA before, but never checked myself. If he is not an option I would prefer Golden Tate.
  20. My thought is they should target a veteran that has shown the ability, but not necessarily a #1(Tyler Boyd comes to mind) AND also draft someone that can develop into a true #1. That would probably require a trade down or the second round.
  21. I thought about this myself too this morning. Another point to consider is that of these teams; Baltimore, Indy, Chicago, and NE (at home) were games with NP/DA at QB. Not saying that Josh would have beaten these teams, but it's something to factor in when evaluating the season as a whole.
  22. Honestly, I just don't get posts like this... Is this supposed to be funny? Or are you serious?
