  1. How did that guy get hurt?
  2. I feel this in my soul right now. F5!!
  3. I honestly think your comment about Clowney is pretty realistic here.
  4. That's good news for Knox! I am hopeful that he is good to go by the third preseason game so he can start to get comfortable out there.
  5. I believe Boettger took center snaps against Indy so it was likely him.
  6. I would be nervous if I was McGhin. I thought he was going to be the PS developmental guy, but now they brought in another versatile UDFA. Should be fun to see how they both do in the coming weeks.
  7. Kinda, another guy tagged in...
  8. LAMP ALERT I was a Zay drop away from being pretty spot on And who figured it would have been Nelson's lunch money??
  9. Yup. Between Joseph and Thompson things are looking good for life after Zo.
  10. Completely agree with your last paragraph. I think he is competing with Maurice Alexander for the final LB spot (assuming they keep 6 and Stanford and Thompson are your other depth guys) so showing up on ST is paramount. He just has so much potential in this defense to risk on waivers. EDIT: I like Dodson for PS
  11. Bodine and Yeldon decisively played themselves off the team last night, IMO. I really like Darryl Johnson's upside and think he may end up being too risky to try to stash on PS. Also, did Nick Easly play at all? I was hoping to see him out there and get a couple of looks but didn't notice him.
  12. Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women!
  13. A much improved offensive line, Singletary turning some heads, and Ed Oliver taking some nerd's lunch money. Bills 31 Colts 17
  14. Haha yeah. That game looks really good for that purpose.
  15. My bad, I see what you meant to say now. I thought you were equating the opener with week 4.
  16. Home opener is week 3 against Cincinnati.
  17. Agreed. I just have this feeling he is going to develop into a reliable asset to this offense. He probably won't make many flashy plays due to average athleticism, but can be depended upon to throw a solid block or get you a few yards over the middle.
  18. No gloves? Is his grandfather somebody I would have heard of too? Seriously though I like this kid a lot.
  19. To add to this: I was at camp yesterday and thought he looked far from slow. He may not have elite top end speed, but his acceleration appeared to be superb to me.
  20. I think there is a good chance Zay had that intensity and confidence coming out of college, but it was then completely shattered early on his rookie season. He has had to build himself back up mentally ever since. Zay went from big fish in the small pond at ECU to the small fish who came up short in the much bigger pond. I can see how that set him back mentally and when you don't have any elite measurables then it's even tougher to right the ship, so to speak. That being said he has been busting his ass this offseason so I'm pulling for him to put it together.
  21. Agreed. Foster appears to have those things, but has issues with concentration, mental lapses, etc. And to be fair to Zay, he isn't a world beater, but I'm not losing sleep if he is my #3 receiver.
  22. Fair points. IMO when it comes to other players threatening for top 3 the only name I would reasonably suggest is maybe Robert Foster. He has had a shaky camp thus far, but has the natural talent. Ray Ray may be getting good press, but he doesn't excite me as a top 3 receiver on this team. Williams and Sills appear to be way far behind and my only memory of McKenzie this camp is that scene in the Embedded series when Hyde essentially told him to stfu. Basically, if Zay isn't top 3 by opening day (barring the hypothetical trade) then that means Foster got his crap together and jumped over Zay on the depth chart with exceptional preseason play. That's the only scenario that seems plausible to me.
  23. Have you ever said anything that wasn't miserable? IT'S BEEN A FREAKIN' WEEK!
  24. Yup. He is probably the least sexy pick to make the 53, but if the coaches really value his ST contributions and locker room presence then it seems prudent to keep him at this moment. Maybe others can step up in those areas over the course of camp and make him expendable...those last couple of roster spots appear to be a real tough decision.
