    Glad they are bringing Marlowe back. Reliable depth that knows the system well. Perfect as the third guy. They may still grab another rookie late in the draft like they did with Johnson last year, but the safety group is looking good.

    I chose Hyde. He would be the most value choice while still being fairly effective. And I don't think signing him would prevent drafting another RB if someone they really like slips down on draft day. Imagine Singletary/Akers/Hyde ?

    I like AJ Dillon but don't understand why some people are calling him a crush in the 2nd round. He's likely a 4th or 5th rounder, MAYBE a 3rd rounder. If we are gonna go RB in the 2nd it should be Akers/Dobbins/CEH. I assume Taylor and Swift are gone by then.

    IMO the two big questions are: Does Josh take the next step? And how does Daboll fare with a better stocked cupboard? I have good faith in the former and am lukewarm on the latter for now.

    Nice post. I briefly made a similar connection in my head after the Diggs trade solely because of John Brown, but I did not go into the depth you did. I think it's a fair comparison assuming we find that running mate for Singletary. Not gonna predict 13-3 though.

    We run a lot of Nickel so the 3rd LB has a limited amount of snaps anyway. I think Klein is good enough to be that guy and he still contributes to ST. He should fill in for LorAx relatively well, but without the occasional work on the DL. And you are right that we have a couple young guys that could rise up.

    I think if I had to choose one it would be Reader. I'm a bit concerned with the DL depth at the moment. That being said I would love to have both.

    That's a good point and entirely possible. I didn't watch enough Vikings games to know if the jet sweep was a forte for Diggs. The Bills have used Foster in that capacity a few times before though. Last year was just really odd for him, so who the heck knows.

    My guess is Foster would take that role - if he is still around.

    Good point. It's the Bills so they must have lost out. I'll take the proven playmaker in his prime on a reasonable deal over the potential player every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

    Yeah, they are trying to convince themselves that they "won" the trade. It appears everyone outside that fan base tends to disagree - not just Bills fans.
