  1. Fox Sports 1 Mike Garafolo reported that former Bucs LB Dekoda Watson is visiting Jacksonville. Bills are up next if no deal gets done. Did some quick google research. It looks like he is a hell of a special teams player. He also fought for a starting LB job on the Bucs D. It sounds like his career is on the upswing. He's 26 years old 42 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 Int, & 1 FF in 2013 3 career blocked punts
  2. Im pretty excited about Nolan Carroll. I don't know much about him but its sounds like he is an up and coming corner. He is year younger than Leodis and is bigger. Many teams have shown interest in him over the past few weeks. He had a 64 passer rating against him on the season. 3 int's, 2 sacks, 47 tackles
  3. The only case the Bills should take a tight end is Ebron in the first round. Beyond that don't bother. There are no other game changing tight ends in this draft or free agency. If I see a RB picked before the 7th round i'll puke.
  4. Yes, Game rewind would be a nice perk of being a season ticket holder. Is that new this year?
  5. I love the idea of Spikes. Bring him in on 1st & 2nd downs, sure up the run D, and draft another LB in the later rounds. Force teams to pass or run outside on 1st & second downs. Get them into longer 3rds and send our pass rush. Hes an A-hole but I'd take him right now because its a perfect fit.
  6. Or he wouldn't have. We don't know because....... he only played 6 games
  7. Here's a fresh idea. Players start out as a novice. Many progress to mediocre. Even fewer progress to above average and so on. As with anything in life people improve as long as their work ethic and ability permit. EJ and Thad have both shown ability at a mediocre level. Who is to say their hard work and ability won't take them to above average and further? The Bills can either harness this progress or draft a QB and "hope" a guy is miraculously above average. i.e. Russell Wilson The same goes for other positions. Why shop free agency for players who have reached their peak when you can work with the progressing talent that you have? The Bills will not be signing any FA QB's or drafting any in my opinion.
  8. Ugh. Now i got to pay for another game. Sucks I'd rather the Bills keep the 75mil and play one less game at home.
  9. +1 There is one more negotiating advantage it gives the Bills. Leaking this publicly reinforces to Byrds camp that the Bills are done negotiating. Now Parker/Byrd have to consider this the Bills final offer and ask themselves a question. Is Jairus going to receive 10 mil a year from a contender? If I was Russ Brandon and I wanted to throw a little tie bit out to the media I would go to Joe Buscaglia first.
  10. I can't believe I'm saying this but the only FA i have interest in is Spikes. A run stuffing MLB that can only play two downs. Past Orakpo, Byrd, possibly Monroe its all junk
  11. Who else would you have brought in if you were the Bills over the past few seasons? Spend every dime right up to the cap and see what kind of players you end up with. I.E- Dolphins, NY Jets, Redskins, Cowboys, Eagles
  12. History as in Mario, Kolb, Anderson, Lawson, Branch, Legursky Free Agency for the most part is other peoples trash. Every year there are a few good players but for the most part they are retreads. As far as I'm concerned the Bills stepped up when they signed Mario Williams. Past Orakpo and Byrd there is more junk this off season. Good teams are built through the draft. Im glad the Bills aren't the Dolphins. Can we please put this "Bills are cheap" krap to rest.
  13. Yeah. Teams are lining up to give up a potential starting draft picks for a $10 mil safety.
  14. I just looked at the ticket prices for that game. $229?? It seems like that could be a very expensive weekend. I would love to go though.
  15. Hold on..... Hold on....... The Pats loss puts us 4 games back of them for the division. Assuming we have to win out anyway that would include us beating them the last week of the year. So we are only 3 games out. They play the Broncos. Now we are two games out. Can u say Home Playoff game??? They better get that fence on 300 level quick.
  16. I'be been cold on paying any safety big money but Byrd has a clear knack for the football. In a game thats dictated by turnovers I want him on my team. Can they even afford him? Does he even want to stay? These are all questions that will be answered this spring.
  17. Sounds like the media still holds a grudge against "jocks" for those wedgies in middle school. How about Martins text to Incognito...... "I will murder your whole f'n family"
  18. Shut up??? Absolutely not!! Handle it differently. YES
  19. Jackie Robinson endured death threats. Martin endured teammates exclaiming they would have sex with his sister w/o a condom. Robinson was able to battle through hatred from teammates, executives, opponents, fans, and media. Martin had to battle against childish comments and lunch room stupidity. The fact that you can't see that difference is pretty "bizarre". Martin was physically abused?? Was he shoved after goaline work in practice? Was he whipped and chained? We don't know! The fact that he has not had so much as a black eye over the past 2 years and that these comments came directly from his lawyer doesn't say much for the severity of the abuse.
  20. Imagine what black athletes went through for most of the 20th century. Now think of Martin. I think he needs to be a little more thick skinned.
  21. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/11/07/cornwell-shares-more-evidence-of-harassment-of-martin/ Cornwell claims in the statement that an unnamed teammate said this to Martin: “We are going to run train on your sister. . . . She loves me. I am going to !@#$ her without a condom and c** in her c***.”
  22. +1 Real teammates would get behind Martin and support him.
