  2. Totally agree, but the NFL is all about market size for TV contracts, I had read the biggest problem with Bills and Southern Ontario is that although there is 12 million in Southern Ontario which from a distance point of view would normally be part of the Bills market, but the bills can not count that as part of there market because the Canadian Broadcast System has the right show what ever game they want, making southern Ontario not counted as part of the going TV deals. Not sure if this is true, but make sense.
  3. you are right I did look at it again it started in 2013 and runs thru 2023, with damages for relocation of 400,000,000 except for year 7 which was 28,000,000. The Toronto series ran from this 2008 to 2012, was suppose to run to 2013, Ted Roger dies Dec 2008 after they started the series. I still believe the Bills and WNY would not have made it to the 2013 lease if Roger was alive at that time. Once he died the whole Toronto thing lost a lot of steam. With out Rogers around to push the issue the series was a failure and ended early knowing the Rogers family would not have the ability to ultimately acquire the team. But going back to what I thought before, Ralph really didn't do anything to prevent a possible relocation to Toronto or anywhere, once Rogers passed, Ralph's plan A went up in smoke and we he was stuck looking for a new ownership, but he made sure there was a easy out in year 7 just so relocation was still a possibility. I'm just glad to work out for us.
  4. I looked it up last night in was 28,000,000. in the seventh year of the current lease. Chump change to these owner. I wish the Pats would have gone under!
  5. What was the poison pill in the lease deal? I remember it slightly, but I don't remember being such a big amount that it would deter anyone with the ability to buy a team for moving them thou? Ted Rogers passing had a lot to do with it as well. Think it was the Raiders not the Pats?
  6. Its been a long time, but I don't remember him setting anything up to prevent the team from being moved, at least when they started the Toronto series. I remember a penalty for breaking the lease with county, but it was nothing significant. I really don't remember anything in which he went out of his way to keep the team in WNY. I'm sure he was a good person and good business man, I just don't think he was good owner. I alway thought as fan we deserved better.
  7. I agree with you, but I believe he was planning to sell the team to Ted Rodgers and move them to Toronto at the time of his death, the only thing that stopped that is Ted died before Ralph at a much younger age. I don't miss Ralph either and this constant reminders of the competitive disadvantage that come with owning a team in WNY.
  8. who said he can't get it right? Say it, Say it https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DhafaW1uLE-4&ved=2ahUKEwjxss_vrYPwAhVlmeAKHVjLBYAQwqsBMAB6BAgDEAk&usg=AOvVaw03Zywo0M85KI7rxJYMCQcB
  9. you know Fred, everyone knows Freddy. They should retire 22 because of him. https://images.app.goo.gl/HQrsGrTnnFPuu5q88 I think I'm in love.
  10. Forget Reggie, Freddy Jackson, one of the best Bills ever.
  11. Bills are a pass first team, I think going to be hard for any back to be effective unless it short yardage or pass catching out of the backfield and josh doesn't seem like a guy willing to check down a lot.
  12. I guess there done pushing Waston agenda, so they to look for someone else to market now.
  13. I thought Obada is a DE, and Short is a DT, I'm not really sure, I'm just asking?
  14. Doesn't williams get 10 now?, why not give in 12 to keep him?
  15. Strike first, strike hard, no mercy!
  16. I don't know why our defense wasn't more aggressive in the AFC championship game. Maybe they were and it didn't translate into anything. I don't think we knocked the guy down once. Didn't Al Davis say within the first 10 plays the Qb must go down and go down hard to set the tone of the game.
  17. I really liked Singletary as a rookie, and I still do. I just don't think he gets the ball enough to get going. I also don't think there line is good a running blocking.
  18. I blame that one on Marv, Thurman should have run the ball about 65 times for 433 yards instead of passing against 8 DB all night.
  19. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DIWWwM2wwMww&ved=2ahUKEwionOKcvrjuAhUQF1kFHXRkDr8Q3ywwAnoECAgQAg&usg=AOvVaw04grSdAbZhAqWUD3GZMYoO
  20. Bills defense is just not physical enough, they havent been all year. Poyer had a nice hit, but they should have set the tone early and gonna after Mahomes. He would have likely burned them a few times, but I think he needed to be rattled. He knew he needed to score 30+ to win, if you give up a few big one so be it.
