  1. Why would be be going to buffalo if he didn't intend on signing?
  2. I think the county paid for the turf, not ralph. He doesn't own the stadium, just plays there rent free.
  3. The steelers should punish this guy. I mean really punish him. Trade him to Buffalo for maybin. That will teach him. And while in Buffalo he can talk about Fitz all he wants.
  4. Had an old college buddy for Vegas call me and tells me he heard of a possible trade rumor of Mckelvin for Tebow when the new CBA is reached. Said he heard it quickly on a radio talk show while driving. I have nothing to back it up, did anyone else hear this? Just thought it was interesting because of the recent # trade. Plus with Mckelvin's history here, buffalo's so called love affair with Tebow, The new coach and Elway in Denver you could start to see this maybe happening? Is denver even looking for a corner? Thoughts.
  5. If this keeps up, the Bills might be forced out of town.
  6. Ralph should of dumped the cups, and not cut the employees pay and fund the pensions.
  7. Agreed, something has to be in the works, hope its what we expect it to be
  8. Per Pro football talk, The momentum train received a hot salsa enema on Thursday night, when AEG president Tim Leiweke said that his boss, Philip Anschutz, is prepared to purchase majority interest in a team — and that AEG has spoken to five franchises about this possibility. According to the Orange County Register (via SportsBusiness Daily), the teams are the Vikings, Chargers, Rams, Raiders, and Jaguars. “St. Louis, Jacksonville, not extensively, certainly Oakland, San Diego, Minnesota are still in the mix,” Leiweke said. “We’re not packing any [moving] vans right now.” Nice to see the Bills not mentioned.
  9. Thurman revolutionized the game. He wasn't a back, he was a weapon. Wasn't he like the first player to lead the league in yards from scrimmage like 4 years in a row ? Doesn't get enough credit because he played at the same time as E. Smith, and B. Sanders. Often surprized how everyone gushes over M. Faulk, but Thurman did it all first. If Norwood makes that kick, he's considered one of the best ever. If Marv would of let him loose in the second half of SB 25, we won't of needed Norwood to make that kick.
  10. I have no problem with any owner who will to keep the team in Buffalo, invest in the team, and has a passion for winning every year. I'm not from canada but I have no problem with giving Toronto a 2-3 games a year. Anything that helps, and let face it we need the help.
  11. All we are saying, is give Fitz a chance.
  12. That snakes have no arms, that why they don't wear vest?
  13. Buffalo (5-1) at Miami (2-4) Currently: Miami Gardens, FL Temp: 72° F Game info: 1:00 pm EDT Sun Oct 26, 2008 TV: CBS By DAN PIERINGER, STATS Writer Oct 22, 2:14 pm EDT Preview | Box Score | Recap tweet0EmailPrintThe Buffalo Bills’ best start in 13 years has the team atop the AFC East, but they haven’t proven yet that they’re the division’s best. In their first game against an AFC East rival, the Bills look to improve to 6-1 Sunday as they visit the last-place Miami Dolphins. Buffalo has won five of its first six games for the first time since 1995, and is in position to open 6-1 for the first time since 1993, when the team made the last of four straight trips to the Super Bowl. Buffalo is one game ahead of five-time defending division champion New England. AdChoices The Bills know, however, that their early success won’t mean much if they can’t continue it against divisional opponents. They’re the only team in the NFL that hasn’t played a division game yet, but starting with Miami (2-4), Buffalo’s next three opponents are AFC East rivals. The stretch could prove critical for the Bills as they seek to win their first division title since 1995 and end an eight-season playoff drought, the longest in franchise history. “It’s weird not having seen any one of these teams to this point this year,” offensive lineman Duke Preston said. “It is a test that I think we’re ready for.” The Bills, who went 4-2 within the division last season, looked ready last Sunday. Fresh off their bye week, they delivered one of their most complete performances of the season in a 23-14 victory over San Diego. Trent Edwards, showing no signs of the concussion he sustained two weeks prior in a loss to Arizona, went 25-of-30 for 261 yards and a touchdown. The second-year quarterback set a franchise record by completing 83.33 percent of his passes, marginally better than the previous mark of 82.86 set by Jim Kelly in 1994. Buffalo compiled 370 total yards, and has now gained 277 or more in each of its six games this season after managing that number only six times in 2007. “We are gaining a lot of confidence,” Edwards said. “This is definitely a statement game for us. We can look back on it and say we played a pretty good opponent and beat them by 9 points.” The Bills also held what had been the NFL’s top-scoring team to two touchdowns and 263 yards, thanks in part to linebacker Kawika Mitchell, who made a key interception and forced a fumble. “We’re building, that’s for sure,” Mitchell said. “It’s definitely a big win to get against a team like that, it means a lot to our team. I think we’re moving in the right direction.” Though Bills players seemed to take a lot of significance from last week’s game, coach Dick Jauron wasn’t reading as much into it. “The truth is, and I can’t speak for anybody but myself, but we don’t particularly care,” he said. “We just have to keep playing.” Jauron’s club will face a Dolphins team that’s lost back-to-back games after some big wins of its own. Miami clobbered New England 38-13 on Sept. 21 before defeating San Diego 17-10 in its next game Oct. 5, but has dropped its last two to Houston and Baltimore. “In general, fundamentally I don’t think we’ve played very well,” first-year coach Tony Sparano said after last Sunday’s 27-13 loss to the Ravens. “… It’s not lack of effort, it’s usually a fundamental breakdown someplace. “We need to go back and we need to understand how we win. … We’ve got to go back to the drawing board and we’ve got to be able to come back out next week, play with a lot of enthusiasm and find ways to win.” The Dolphins’ recent struggles have overshadowed the strong play of Chad Pennington, who went 24-for-35 for a season-high 295 yards, a touchdown and an interception last weekend. He ranks fourth in the NFL with a 68.6 completion percentage, and his 108.8 passer rating since Sept. 21 leads all quarterbacks with at least 100 attempts in that span. “I’ve been around some good quarterbacks, but he throws the ball very efficient,” Sparano said. “I knew he would give us a chance with his location to catch the ball, to run with the ball after the catch, those types of things. The way he’s been delivering the ball has been tremendous.” Pennington hopes to help Miami end its recent struggles against Buffalo. The Dolphins have lost seven of the last eight meetings in the series, including four straight. Edwards threw a career-high four touchdown passes as the Bills cruised to a 38-17 victory the last time these teams met, Dec. 9 at Buffalo. Updated Oct 22, 2:14 pm EDT
  14. Why are we trying to run this guy out of town ? He a good young player. Get a pass rush, and don't put the D on the field for 75 plays a game. As for the cost of his contract, who cares. If he wants 6 mil a year give it to him. Instead of being 50 mil under the cap, well be 44 mil under the cap.
  15. I've only heard good things about Whitner by other clubs. The bills should focus on keeping this guy instead of shipping him off and trying to fill another hole. We is not the problem.
  16. Per SI.com fan nation, "If the ruling isn't stayed, however, the league will have to allow trades. And the union will push for that to happen immediately, since it will promote the movement of players during the draft, given that draft picks and players would be available as trade compensation." 17. As of yesterdays, until or if the owners get a stay, espn reported teams can trade any player currently under contract. I'm sure if teams really wanted to they could find a way to work out some type of trade anyway, possibly with players to be named at a later time. Just passing PFT's stories along. I guess your just over sensative because the Sabres.
  18. Sorry if this is already posted, Per PFT, The Texans could offer their 1, 3, 4, and (Amobi) Okoye. I think this would be a good deal. We would go from 3 to 11 The article talk about Houston trying to trade with Denver, but if the Bills were interested that might be good.
  19. I thought we were talking about thurman thomas.
  20. Von Miller's size ? How is Von Miller to small at 6'3" 246, and fan favorite Paul Poluszny is ok at 6'1" 238. What is Miller to big?
  21. I was just reading some info on how the Bills maybe drafting their QB of the future, which made me start to think about Rob Johnson. I remember when they trade a 1st and 4th for him I thought they found a real gem. I remember all the practice highlights on the empire sports network, wow. If things went as planned back then we would be preparing for his replacement to start by now. However 13 years later were still looking for our QB of the future.
  22. Kiss me, you won't regret it.
  23. Yeah, that would make more sense. On an average how long would most of that stuff stay in a persons system?
