  1. Thought about it didn't have the balls to post it. Saw Naamen's father on sunday, Naamen is expected to be brought up from the practice squad on Wednesday. I think thats a solid move. It likely they bring back buster davis, but they still have brad smith in the mix. I think he was the Jets 3rd WR last year?
  2. Always interested in a divison teams. I thought it was a little odd, but the pats are only bring 6 O-line men to miami tonight, according to boston radio. it said they have a couple of vets lined up to sign, but don't want to sign anyone until after the first game, so they don't have to be stuck with their salary all year if they chose to cut them. Sounds like Bill is playing with fire.
  3. good, I hope everyone continues to think of them as the underdog, and I hope the players don't start to think their better then they really are. They need to carry that chip on their shoulder. The worst hits are the ones you never see comin. It only 1 game, but a great start it was.
  4. What teams would be consider in the luck sweepstakes, bills, 49ers, denver, colts?, Cin?.
  5. Tim lives in buffalo area, I wouldn't go so far to say he was a bills fan, but at least we kept us up to date.
  6. Hey, heres a thought, maybe it not about the players or the owners. Maybe it's about the fans who bought tickets, or the ones watching it on tv or the internet. Is to possible that all those people who spent their hard money enjoyed an extra quarter of football and a competive game? Maybe the nfl, should move all games (preason and reguler) to 3 quaters so the players and coaches won't have to work so much, and of course the owners can charge the same price so their profits won't come up short. But maybe it should be more about the fans, without them, the NFL (no fun league) would not even exist. I think the only thing classless would be a team or person that put the fans last. I might be selfish, but I enjoyed all 4.67 quartes of football last night.
  7. No I think it's still safe to order that one.
  8. Good to be a Pat. You think Goodell does kraft shopping and laundry for him too?
  9. Agreed Didn't like the lee deal, like it less know. More drops then catches.
  10. From what I read, with no CBA there is not player conduct policy. Jon clayton confirmed this prior to the lock out. As for Pryor he not a member of the NFL it a totally different issue. According to league offical he doesn't quilify for the draft. He was suspended from Ohio state for 5 games only. Just because he doesn't want to play for state or Ohio state doesn't want him doesn't mean he can't play at some other college.
  11. Check out this link, http://images.nflplayers.com/mediaResources/files/PDFs/PlayerDevelopment/2010%20Steroid%20Policy.pdf It say according to the NFL player contract, a player can't use, supply, or produce any banned substance. But if he was bust on the july 28 there was no CBA, the new league season did not start until the August 4. So unless he has a position test after august 4, no CBA, no drug policy, no personal conduct, no crime?
  12. I Just figured out I hate the number 11 !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking of becoming a CFL fan 12 on D, 12 on O.
  13. One could make a strong case.
  14. Scott Norwood 11 Rob Johnson 11 Drew 11 Maybin 11th pick What else?
  15. Thanks, better then the old empire sports network days.
  16. He must have the bills and another offer on the table(ciny?), and they must be pretty similar. Maybe he thinks if he talk about how much he like buffalo, the other team will sweaten there offer. He can't practice till friday so why not wait to see if he can get a better offer. I would still sign him to a 1 year offer for 3 to 4 mil, to see what he can do with a better d-line and better d coaching staff. I really don't care if we over pay for him for a year. To me to doesn't matter if the money sits in his bank account or ralphs. There not going to use it on anyone else.
  17. twitter 1 min ago, assume he coming back?
  18. Hey I started this thread as "Can we still franchise Poz". Now it say "Poz as good as gone". What happened? Seem like someones trying to stir the pot around here.
  19. They must think he's worth something, and there going to have to spend to the salary floor anyway. This is not about what he worth, this is about having another hole to fill. Say you make him an offer and while your waiting he signs else where, then what? While the Bills were waiting we could could miss out on someone else. I think these free agent are gonna go fast. Why chance it if you don't have to. So it cost you 8 mil instead of 6 mil.
  20. If poz is to test the market like the article suggust, is it possible under the new CBA the bills franchise this guy? I'm not saying they should or they shouldn't. I think it the right thing to do to protect their interest. I'm not a big Poz fan, but if he is such a priority for this team why give him the chance to walk. I can just image the bills making this guy a fair/ good offer, him testing the market and the signing else where 3 days later, and us losing out on another linebacker waiting for poz. I would imagine a franchise tender for a middle line backer must be around 5-7 mil a year, I'm thinking thats about what it going to take to sign anyway.
