Buffalo won't move to LA
clearwater cadet replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know, Ralph has never shown any intention that he cares if the team stay in buffalo after he's gone. I think he plays the part just to keep the people coming. There are 31 other owners who would love to replace one of the smallest markets teams, with one of the biggest markets, which in return would open the door for Toronto down the road. I'm really trying to stay positive here, but I think the writing on the wall is so clear that it blinding everyone in Buffalo that the Bills are going to stay. Hope I'm wrong. -
Can't wait until begining of next season, were going to hear how troup played injured all year, and that why he wasn't effective, and in the off season he add 30 ibs of muscle, he worked on making his core stronger etc, etc, and he's ready to compete for a starting job. Like fools we'll all by into it, have about 20 guys on IR by week 12, go 6-10 next year, and start the coach and GM search all over again, and Ralph will thanks us for our support if he still alive.

I don't mean like screen pass, and don't get me wrong freddy stays on the field to run draws, block, etc. Instead of puting him on the line where he can get bumped and held, why not let him come out of the backfield and run some short to intermediate route. He would have a running start, and likely be pick up by a linebacker or saftey in space. If he covered by a saftey that would open up the tightend or Nelson in the slot. New England has been doing it for years with Kevin Faulk. Team would also not be able to blitz as well, give fitz more time to set up a big play.

The bills are in trouble if they don't win this week.

Bills (Ralph) desperate

I think that is a pretty good deal. I'm paying face value of 179 in Dallas this weekend plus a ten dollars service charge. I could have all 3 bills games for that. The cowboys are no better then the Bills. See that the one thing the bills fans will never understand about buffalo. Sure we support our team for most of the season, but the NFL doesn't want the small market die hard fan anymore, they rather you stay at home and jack up the tv ratings. They want the big market business community to buy all the seats because they don't care about winning and lossing, how much food cost, etc. to them it's just business. This is why when LA get a team, they will make billions and billions and never look back. It pains me to say it but for the Bills to make it in Buffalo we should give Toronto the last 3 games of the year and hope for the best. -

Whose going ot the Jets game next week?
clearwater cadet replied to DaBills92's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
three years ago the bills were playing houston, I flew into buffalo on sunday morning, I had an event the next day. That friday I pick up some tickets on stubhub for 11.00 dollars each. There was also a fee for buying then last min but it was only like 5 dollars. Seat were lower bowl 45 yard line, 10 rows behind the houston bench. Not the best seat bcause it was hard to see over the players on the side line, but there were several other options at the time I bought them. Flew in on sunday at about 9:30, drove to a hampton inn or something off route 5, and pick up the ticket there from a stubhub rep in one of the meeting rooms t the hotel. At the time it was novemeber, the bills were not a playoff contenders, so ticket may have been cheap because of it, but it work out well. See whats out there but keep your eye on stub hub for last minute deal. I think they also have E-ticket now so you can print it right on your computer. -
Maybe

You think this had anything to do with HGH testing? There no mention of a achilles injury. That same week the NFL is ready to conduct HGH testing. The NFL PA resist, trying to stall the process, proably to protect some players, and he suddenly has an injury. If he is on IR, is he exempt from subtance testing for the rest of the season? Either way it a big blow I think. If he was caught again it would be a year suspension.

I think you only sign him if you think your team is a legit contender, and really only chan and buddy know that. If the bills feel they are legit, for a team that runs 4 and 5 receiver, set he would be at least better then your current then your 4th or 5th. If they don't feel like the team is legit then why bother, he will be gone next year and only ruin your draft order. Personally I feel thay are a good team, and they need another wide out with all the injuries they have. I don't think they would have traded Evans if they knew they were going to loss Roscoe and Easily for the year, and have Jones sidelined for 4-6 weeks. -
The offense is not the problem
clearwater cadet replied to jonramz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That how the NFL is today, with the amount of passing, these extra large skilled players, sudden rule changes, there only very few D-fenses that stop anyone completely. The goal for NFL defense today is to hold the offense to long drives of 10 or so plays. It likely the offence will make a mistake,(turnover, holding, etc) within those 10 plays and the defense will get it stop that way. -
The bills should have made a deal for someone at receiver. They lost multiple receiver for the year. I truely don't see Roscoe coming back, and if he does, you can't expect him to last the year. Easily has been out for 2 seasons, and has a heart aligmnet. I hope, but I won't count on him coming back at all. Even if it another weapon just for a year, the team is good, they have a solid base, they have a chance to make the playoff, they should really take full advantage of this. 3rd, 4th, or 5th is likely to be roll player, if they can get better this year using one of those pick they should go for it.

Agree, I think when they traded lee, they were thinking parrish would go long when needed. i thinks Jones hands are very suspect. I think maybe they are going to try using brad smith to go deep.

How do you have a let down game, when your a complete letdown of a team?

I remember seeing Mankins going crazy after one to the INT. On New England sports talk radio, they had said Mankins received a Warren Sapp like cheap shot,(referenced some shot Sapp gave to one of the packers o-line years ago which dislocated the guys pelvis and ended his career) They suspected this would likely result in a fine and/ or suspension. Anyone else see this ?

I was listening to New England sports talk today, they gave the bills credit and were very firm in there belief that there is no way buffalo makes the playoff, they finish no bettet then 8-8, and fitz is still a fluke. With the bills schedule, and the jets not being anything special, I think there a very real chance we make the playoff. Them again I think the more the team gets mocked the better they play.
