  1. i think freeney is over-rated.....he's under-sized and is one dimensional if you ask me..........jamal really smoked him last night, put him right on his can........anyone see that play?
  2. yea, just looked how well that has payed off for the KC defense........haha..... sometimes the fans are right and the GM/coach is wrong.....
  3. funny, but that doesn't really bother me.......rudi had tons of yards and we still won in a blowout........color me unconcerned......besides, is barlow even starting now? i thought he lost his job......
  4. we're going to blow them out........spikes will have the defense fired up and our running game will control the clock.....
  5. this is the best TE would could find out there? an 11 year vet with 2 career receptions?? jeez, you'd think they're would be someone sitting out there on a practice squad who would be worth snatching.......
  6. i didn't see the play last night, but i remember he did the exact same thing a few weeks back against the giants.......he was running a short crossing route and he saw the CB (i think it was will peterson) waiting for him, so instead of reaching up for it and exposing his ribs he let the ball whizz right by his head......the giants talked trash to him the whole way back to the huddle, but i guess pinkston didn't learn anything from that embarrassing lesson.......
  7. quote i saw stated that palmer expected to play next sunday.......i don't really care who we face to tell ya the truth -- palmer has talent and kitna has proven he can get the job done.......no preference here.......
  8. vs. the bengals, what does mr. clements pull out of his bag of tricks??? i think this is the week that fast freddie, former QB, gets to show off his arm........
  9. this thread should have 50 replies over the next 24 hours stating the same thing.........
  10. the vikes or the jets would have gladly coughed up a pick (maybe not a first, but something is better then nothing) and then worked out a deal with him, just like the falcons did with price.......they both wanted him and made their intentions very obvious........
  11. getting a first for peerless was brilliant.....but letting winfield walk out the door for nothing was a dumb move when he could have been parlayed into some kind of pick the same way peerless was.......obviously there was a market for him.......TD left a pick on the table there.......
  12. i don't know why you insist on making the "resign jennings" proposition so complicated.......i can tell you this very moment the ballpark number he will get from either the bills or another team -- it's not rocket science........he'll get a deal similar to clifton, similar to wade, similar to adams, and similar to pettigout.......they are all getting around 5 million a year with a 10 million signing bonus....... bills have to decide whether they want to pay it or not, that is it, no games needed,.......that is the market value, and he deserves the market value.........
  13. so if cleveland puts 8 in the box you "run run and more run"??......the bills will not try to force a round peg into a square hole......if the browns employ the same strategy as the phins and make bledsoe beat them, that is just what the bills will do........this offense is good enough to beat a team with the run OR the pass, and if the browns give us the pass, we will take it.....and if they take away moulds and give us evans, we'll take that too....... i think we'll likely have to throw the deep ball to set up the run, not the other way around.......teams fear mcgahee first and foremost now, and are doing whatever they have to in attempts to stop him........but the bottom line is this offense has the ability to be flexiable....... bills 35 - browns 10
  14. LB is waaaaaaay down on the priority list if you ask me, but if the "best player available" is a LB i wouldn't be surprised at all to see TD go that way....... our current group (stamer/crowell/haggen) are all solid special teamers and cheap.......to me, that is all you really want out of backups at the position.......you want more skill, your gonna pay more......it's not like the old days with no salary cap......... i would rather see a OL/DL/S/CB/RB before another LB.......i don't see our LB starters leaving this off-season anyway, it's a great group.......
  15. i think the only positions you can realistically scratch off the list for our first pick is QB, WR, K, and P........everything else is a possiblity.......
  16. hahahahahaha.........well done!
  17. (LABillzFan @ Nov 30 2004, 02:51 PM) Is he right because he's right, or is he right because you agree with him? (ice) Because he has been 100% correct. jerry sullivan called evans a bust...... according to you, jerry sullivan has been 100% correct this year...... therefore, you called evans a bust....... that or you were just talking out of your ass as per normal......what was it now???
  18. i thought you agreed with jerry sullivan's assessment that lee was a bust???? you did say the guy was 100% right......
  19. sidenote -- from the nov. 5 "tip sheet" Buffalo has approached second-year corner Terrence McGee about a four-year extension, but so far the numbers, which include a seven-figure signing bonus, haven't jibed.
  20. todd wade -- 30 mil over 6 years/10 mil SB chad clifton -- 32.4 mil over 6 years/11 mil SB luke petitgout -- 30 mil over 6 years/10 mil SB flozel adams -- 25 mil over 5 years/10 mil SB i think jennings will find an EXTREMELY healthy market.....LT's are very hard to come by, and when they hit the open market, GM's do not hesistate to pay them......reasonable price? forget about it.......but hey, we groomed the guy, it would be silly not to give him a contract comparable to those guys and let him walk out the door.......sorry folks, but that is market value......he earned it, so pay the man!
  21. i'm sure there right next to your mike williams bashing posts.........
  22. wouldn't you know it -- the line finally starts playing well after mutiple seasons of ineptitude, and the fans want to shake it up....... i would just as soon return the same starting 5, including jonas, and get some stability in here for a change........unfortunately, jonas has the leverage now and it's up to him whether he wants to come back or not.......i, for one, don't think LT's are easy to find, and that people are underestimating his importance.......
  23. here is a list, although it is obviously incomplete (they don't list jennings for starters)......but hey, it's the best i can find....... 24. http://lite.espn.go.com/nfl/columnist?id=1915243 here is a start........i know i've seen a complete list somewhere on the net, but i'll be damned if i can track it down again........
  25. like you, i'm in no rush to disrupt the chemistry........however, he is better then our dime corner, and that is where i'd like to see him start at........his play from there dictates whether his role increases.......
