  1. i'm not convinced.........shelton showed up to camp fat and out of shape, which likely contributed to his injury.......if he does it again, he will likely get injured again......... jennings, on the other hand, didn't pack on pounds in the off-season, started all but 2 games, and showed his toughness.......
  2. how do you know he isn't generating much interest?
  3. tagging franks is an issue we should all be interested in........ if we decide to offer franks a contract, the packers will have 7 days to match.........count on them taking the full 7 days to make their decision.......thus, it does two things to us: 1) ties up salary cap room 2) takes us out of the market for a TE for those 7 days if we make an offer to franks and they match we may walk away with nothing if the other good options are snatched up in the meantime.......
  4. it's not like shelton doesn't come with his own injury concerns....... he missed more games then jennings did last year.......is this a new trend? could be........
  5. hasselback has been signed and alexander will be tagged......... http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/spor...461_hawk22.html who said the free agent market would be "flooded" with RB's, driving down henry's value?? alexander -- tagged rudi -- tagged edge -- i would be shocked if he doesn't get one as well henry is the best back on the market.........
  6. i have no interest in discussing it because, like i've said, you agree with my point and i don't think you have much to offer in the discussion beyond side elements that have nothing to do with my original point........
  7. your first post to me in the thread: "Your point is being missed because it is irrational. GM stole from Tom Brady's services. If you were to rent out an house to someone for three months and the renter paid you for three months, wouldn't you want another month's rent if the renter stayed for four months? That is waht GM did. They paid Brady to rent his image and then they decided to use it some more without paying more rent. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FOOTBALL PAY." first, you insulted me by calling my point irrational.......that is a good start to picking a fight with me...... then you went on a diatrabe that had nothing to do with my point, and branched off into an area that i had no interest in dicussing........ my point was, and still is, that BRADY CARES ABOUT MONEY.......if you agreed with that, why did you even respond to my post? like i said, you might as well move on and pick a fight elsewhere cause you've already lost this one.......
  8. fantastic, you agree with me, which is what i've been trying to tell you all along.....now that is settled, why don't you try to pick a fight on another topic that has nothing to do with the original point?........
  9. by refuting my posts and calling them "irrational", you are questioning the content.......what is the content? that brady cares about money.......that was my point from the beginning........nothing more, nothing less........try to keep up........
  10. i would suggest he sue them for money IF HE CARES ABOUT MONEY....... if he doesn't care about money, which some have claimed, then he shouldn't sue them at all........why would he? why would he care if they make a buck off him or not? why would he care if they did it again and again? the point is he does care about money, which is what i said from the start........the lawsuit is not about principle and anyone who thinks so is as simple as they come.......it's about getting paid........
  11. i'm backing out? you are so confused you don't even have a clue which was the conversation is headed....... all i said (from the start) is that tom brady cares about money and used the GM example to prove it.......you tried to refute it by saying that he is suing them over principle, not money, which could not be more foolish if you tried.........he is suing them over money....... i don't need to back out of anything because now your agreeing with me that he does care about money.......you look so silly talking in circles and beating down your own points.....
  12. yea yea yea........and he's suing GM because of principle, not the cash......i stopped listening to you awhile ago.......
  13. ah, you did, when you tried to argue about the merits of his case against GM........it's all about the money, just like i said and you refuted........ i didn't miss that at all......your reading comprehension is questionable if you thought i did....... i said he cares about money which you obviously agree with me is the case.......again, why is he suing GM is he doesn't care about bucks?
  14. you would have to be obtuse to believe brady doesn't care about money.......
  15. i would want it.........i care about money.......just like brady does........
  16. your missing the point.........if he doesn't care about things like "pay" and "compensation", then why does he give a damn? he does care, hence the reason he is trying to grab cash from GM....... it's all about the money, as your post so aptly made clear.........
  17. you guys are hilarious........it's not about the money? so why isn't he suing them for one dollar instead of 2 million of them? it's all about the money! open your eyes.......
  18. if brady doesn't care about money why is he suing GM? he needs to get his story straight.......
  19. franks, becht, and pollard are all better options then jones......we need a blocker and that isn't freddie's strong suit........
  20. yea, i know he's returning money.......i just wonder if that is the reason they aern't trading him........i would think they'd be able to get something for him.........
  21. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1996404 amazing they can't get any trade value out of him.......he's still very young at 27........perhaps returning signing bonus money precludes that? any salary cap experts know? quite a waste of a 1st round pick........ and no, just to nip it in the bud before someone suggests it, he's not an option here........he's too good to play #3 for us........
  22. hasn't drew been getting smacked around on this board the past two months for his over abudance of confidence, not his lack of?? "this is my team"........that is confidence, and he got slagged for it, and still is to this day....... TSW -- home of the hypocrite........
  23. cap dollars are to much to ignore.......PP was a mistake contract by TD because he expected him to become a starter........now that he is not, we are paying to much money to be a backup....... depth safeties are a dime a dozen -- draft a guy on the 2nd day of the draft and bring him in to camp to challenge coy.......winner is the backup, loser goes, simple as that........this will save the bills over 1M in cap room and needs to be done..........PP is nothing but a special teams guy making starter money.........
  24. exactly........time and time again.........some people are just too stubborn to see it i guess......... you don't have to agree with his methology, but it's very easy to see how he is getting his number and why he feels billsdaily is incorrect with their number.....
  25. then i blame the GM -- he is the one who backloaded the contract and made the bonus two tiered..........if he can't get him to get that number down, he deserves all the blame because he is the one who gave williams all this leverage...........
