your wrong on two counts: 1) schobel has improved greatly in his run defense and is not a weak point in that area anymore.........he has seen his tackles increase each and every year in the league.........in fact, he was third among DL in tackles last year because he made so many plays in the running game.... 2) kelsey is firmly entrenched as the starter.......wake up..... i don't know why anyone thinks wiley would want to come back to buffalo at the league minimum to sit 3rd or 4th on the depth chart........our top 2 are locked in.......

so you see a better option out there? we're talking about a backup QB who has no shot at winning the starting job -- how many guys want that gig? matthews is dirt cheap and will not cause a stir.......i'm quite happy with him as the backup.........

GB is about to lose both their starting guards and have major holes on defense........they are not in position to match a "market value" deal for franks......... better then average? well i would hope the deal is better then average, seeing that is where he ranks as a players.......

the thing that pisses me off is that profootballtalk.com nailed this one yesterday, naming the exact compensation to a tee., before any of the majors even got a sniff of the deal......they've really hit big on a few lately........ they are quietly losing that "hack" persona, getting more credit in newspapers around the country.........
