Trade down and get more picks. The WR run will happen and the Bills will look bad. Stay and pick the best WR. Pray for the latter.
-
Leading up to the draft there was talk of it was going to be chaotic with up to 7 trades. It has been relatively quiet. Boring actually.
-
When will the CB run start? There are plenty of good ones on the board.
-
Miami should get Newton to shore up the D line but they will do something odd like selecting Worthy.
-
Cheap Bengals go DB. IMO
-
Bengals organization has always been tight with money terms in contracts. I am not surprised by this. Sit back and watch them unravel.

What the heck. Used the SWAG method but this can SNAFU on me. Veterans understand.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State - Arizona
Rome Odunze, Washington - Chicago
Ladd McConkey, Georgia - Washington (second round)
Brian Thomas Jr., LSU - Indianapolis
Xavier Worthy Texas- Dallas
Bonus Bills pick - Xavier Legette

Matt Milano.
The all pro best LB on the roster, whos replacement was already drafted. Would it be crazy for them to trade him now on an attempt to move up? Possibly.
But he has had some availability issues over the years. And the negative is him coming off a knee injury, but otherwise this would be a perfect sell high moment.
If a team was willing, it would be perhaps the best way to move up without sacrificing a boatload of future picks

You will not get a boat load of picks in return and you open another hole. Not smart.

If PSLs are too expensive the market will dictate the results. Season tickets drop opening up seating to those who want to purchase tickets to single games. It will afford the opportunity for out of town fans to come to games. Wait and see and maybe be in a few years PSLs will reduce in price.

Draft one or two guys to ease into the line up. Beane knows how to build a team with vets and young guys.
-
If the WR that fits the team and draft position value, trade out. Garner more picks and drop back into the second round. There are plenty of WR talent that are going to be available in the second round.

if you don’t understand why it’s productive to say whether you think he’s getting 10m or 40m a year (or somewhere in between) when saying they should extend him, I’m not sure what to say. It’s like the folks debating whether he should be traded but all have wildly differing values in their heads.
apparently that requires super computing to do though
I understand but the Steelers have their own idea what the price will be. By the way his extension has already been discussed in sports media. H is a mid range QB who should garner a mid range salary. You are deeply invested in being his advocate on this. Family member? LOL!

yea, I’m serious. I think that you are saying and above average contract ($35m a year as a floor).
That’s noteworthy and should be included in a post because it’s 90% of the context that makes the post actually able to be discussed in any productive way.
without it the posts just noise
What are you? A CPA? Top 20 made over $25 million a year while bottom 12 made less than $10 million. Average is $26 million a season. That is the range Fields is in.

I think it should be a requirement to include the money figures when making a comment like thisYou are serious? The league salaries go up each season. I do not have access to the Steelers finances. If pressed, I would hazard a guess of slightly above the league average for a QB.

Shouldn’t he be ready this year ?It’s his fourth year now … and I can’t see them picking up his fifth year option in May at $23m or whatever it is …
He wont be on the team next year unless he beats out Wilson this year and earns a new contract…
I think the Steelers organization is looking long term. He will be signed to a long term extension. The QB draft class next year is lacking in talent compared to this year.
-
He fits that organization. Sit behind Wilson and be ready to take over next year.

Trade a 2nd and a 6th plus a 2025 2nd for Houston's 1st and 7th.
That is to give them ammunition to get up again for a QB surely?
Like Beane did. Build up capital to be able to move up to get the QB you covet.

Plan for the future. Take a WR that will develop into a WR1

No big deal. It happens.

Smart move by the Giants. Versatile RB that fits Dabol’s offense.

He faded as the season went on. Go with youth this season.

NFL better explain how they down graded it to a 4th since it was given to be a 3rd (prior precedent)

This is the time of year where guys over 30 or prone to injuries get cut. While I liked the players these moves are necessary. White had a nice career ruined by injuries. Time marches on.

I was never a Worthy fan and think his size will limit his effectiveness.
