The almost int play was also so poor, we're trying to run a post with TE to free up a Dig route, really shows how a few changes can drastically alter a play design. We swap routes for Kincaid/Diggs and that play probably works better, but as is, Josh had nothing but the check down to Cook.

Hated that 3rd down design, if that's the best we can do then I don't like it. Josh doesn't seem to be a big fan of those really short crossers in tight coverage, and that's the only option he had. Plus, KC wasn't really rushing up field, they were looking to bat balls down, just like they did on the Knox 3rd down throw on the first drive of the game that resulted in FG. Said it to my brother a while back, but I fear for Taron's future because he's given his life for this sport. The way he plays, all out 1000%, you end up paying for it down the road. I appreciate what he does for this team, but how many of us will be there for him after his playing days are done. Obviously this is me projecting, and I hope I end up dead wrong, and he lives a relatively healthy life after he's done playing.

Why are people shocked about this. Johnson has done more than enough to lock in reps, he's the fastest back on the roster, that run he bounced outside yesterday, impressive. He deserves to be the #2.

This season has just been torture for some of these guys with their injuries. Seems like Benford has something every other week. Benard wasn't 100% and then that happened. Just feel really terrible for these kids, all having breakout years, and then this happens. Just bad luck.

That was a hell of a catch by Johnson too, doubt any other back makes that play including overrated Lenny.

Its actually Reggie that's open to the flat, do I want Josh throwing to the fullback unless hes wide, not sure, but there were multiple options available for Josh and the play was a good one against that coverage. Josh doesn't like throwing it to the flat when it's tight. Like we used to see Tom Brady hit those tight flat plays so often, he had it down to a science. Later in the video you see Josh passing up the flat route on 4th and 2 on a tight flat throw, I just don't think he feels comfortable throwing it. Just my 2 cents from all the years of watching him.

The first play should have been a TD, Knox was interfered with, and honestly I don't care about not throwing to the flat, but Kincaid was butt naked. If Josh anticipates it it's an easy 6. Easy for us to say they from this vantage point, but it was a good play call against that look. Multiple options available to score.

All that stuff is gone now, if you look at some of the things we did in 2020, it was really fun to watch, hell they stopped doing some of it even when Daboll was here in 21.

Shakir, when given targets is the most efficient WR on this team. Now the sample is small but give him more targets and see what he does. I hope Gabe's healthy, but Shakir deserves a long look, the guy has been really good the last two months when targeted.

I got a soft spot for Knox. Yeah, he's had drop issues, but again, I feel like we didn't use him enough in the past, and yet we drafted another TE. This is really the gist of it, you look at what the Bills offense is doing the last 4 seasons, and the TE position was not targeted enough. It's the same thing with running back, until recently, we barely targeted them in the pass game and yet everyone wanted us to get a pass catching back. Doesn't matter what tools you have if you keep them in the shed. I'm sure thing will change going forward in some ways.

Not like Flowers numbers are really anything to write home about either, although that's going to change in the long term for sure.

Remember that deep out to Shakir, he was wide open, but Allen never really went that way. Shakir hasn’t had enough opportunities given how often he seems to get open, he’s a crafty sob.

Love this dude, but he just doesn't get enough targets. Think he's going to hit 1k next year if he's given the opportunities.

Im more of this is on the players than on the coaches. Long enough sample at this point of them pooping the bed with drops, ints, poor reads, fumbles. It’s rough watching this team trying to pass the ball. I’m getting nervous on every drop back because I feel something bad is going to happen.

-3 Turnovers, and that 1 series with all the penalties, basically -4 in turnovers. Hard to get the pass going when you're coughing it up, Josh included. I still have no idea why he attempted that throw with an easy 4-5 yards right in front of him. Just keep the sticks moving bro! It's like they took the lead, and Josh said, you know what, lets attempt some high risk *****!

I feel like any back would have churned out yards against the Cowboys tonight, but Cook kept lining up explosive run after explosive run. Feel good for him, wish he didn’t drop that other would be touchdown. Hopefully he gains confidence off this stretch of games and realizes he can be a difference maker for this team.

Me too. It just was so frustrating to run all those bubble rpos all game long, finally hit them with the counter they didnt expect and we miss the TD. Davis showed his frustration too, don't blame him, he was blocking on all those screens, and when his number got called with got nothing. It's funny because Chiefs ran a similar concept against us in this game, almost same one the Eagles ran, and they missed the TD to Rice as well but at least they threw to Rice.
