I agree, if Chan finishes the year at 8-8 we're stuck with him.

Was Dareus hurt? Carrington played a lot of snaps.

Loss to the Titans kills any chance they had, no room for error.
Everything broke their way this season too. Key injuries to the Ravens/Steelers, AFC is awful in general, really was there year but the bad start put them in a huge hole.

We need a RT, Hairston is serviceable against average competition, same story with Pears though he's been awful against all comers this year.

PFF gave Dareus a +4.9 score. Third highest on team behind Kyle (+6.8) and Spiller (+5.0).
As I said earlier, it was on of his better games this season. Just needs to be more consistent, shed some pounds. I also think we need better depth behind Kyle and Dareus, need to rotate guys in and out to keep both of them fresh. Fresher the better.
With Wannstedt's vanilla D it's hard to really get an idea of what they're capable of on D. I don't think the LBs are very good but DL may be better with stunting and occasional blitz. As is, all they do is rush straight up. Wannstedt's idea of a wrinkle is having his DL stand up and just rushing them from a 2 point stance instead of 3.

Actually thought this was one of Dareus' better games.
Glenn had a rough 20-25 minutes, a shaky half. But he was pretty solid during the 2nd half, Fitz had all day to throw. OL played really well in the 2nd half.

I'd love for one of our OL to blindside this !@#$ low, deserves it. No afraid to headhunt, knocked Chandler out the first game with a completely dirty hit. Tried to knock out Fitz, went high and knocked out Fred. He's going to catch it from someone.

The guy that actually plays well when given a chance, wants to tote the rock as much as he can, gets no respect from the all knowing Bill. He's getting shafted by his moron coach, but keep holding on to that small sliver of hope that Spiller's actually a colossal bust. Can't wait until he's off this team and catches on with some other team that can actually utilize his skill set effectively.
At least we'll have 350 DT that does !@#$ all.

In a few weeks he'll go up against Mike Pouncey who may be the best center in the league. Dareus destroyed Mike and his brother Maurkice when he played for the Tide. Can't wait to watch the matchup. IF Dareus has trouble you know it's the scheme/coaching.
You can't go from dominating to getting creamed in 2 years.

I wanted Kyle Rudolph, at the time we really had no one at TE, Chandler was an unknown. Also, wanted a pass rusher, so Houston or Reed would've been fine since we ran a 3-4. Needed a corner, but I didn't like Williams from his days at Texas. That secondary got lit up. Remember Blackmon running wild on Texas in Williams' final year.

4-3, mostly under, he's a pretty good player from what little I've seen. Flying under the radar right now.

I'm pretty sure Te'O is a concensus Top 20 pick and may play himself into first LB of the board.
Eifert is nice but I'm pretty high on the 6'7" Chandler. Unless the Bills plan to run a two TE offense like Pats and Eifert is the Herndez TE I'm not sure what Eifert gives you.
I'm not sure what a draft board in October has to do with where he's drafted, or if he's actually a top 20 player. Jimmy Clausen was a 1st round lock to many, how'd that go?
I'll say this, Manti Te'o can't hold Lavonte David's jock and he went in the 2nd round, I have other comps but why get into it. I think he's a 2nd day pick, that's not a bad thing, plenty of good players go in the second or even third.

I'd rather have Eifert, but T'eo's a pretty good player, just don't think he's a difference maker. Think he's a 2nd round pick to be honest, but that's not a knock on T'eo. You need guys like him, solid no nonsense football player.

Watched a sack by Von Millet the other night who outside rushed and dipped his shoulders lower than the linemans waist on cut to the QB.. Guy couldn't get a glove on him. I had to watch it 3 or 4 times to see how he got his pads so low.. Pretty impressive..
Saw the exact play you're talking about, pulled the move on Sebastian Vollmer, it was really incredible. Couldn't believe how low he got and still maintain balance. Incredible balance.
