Needs a good D coordinator, but I pitched this idea a couple of months ago on another board.
His O is a beauty.
-
Just like Marshawn Lynch was ineffective while he was a member of the Bills...lol. If Kyle is ineffective then what was Mario !@#$ing Williams? Trash the entire roster and contract the team if Kyle's not a good player because the rest are trash in comparison.
OP is an idiot, plain and simple.
LOL @ Dareus being doubled all game long, stop deluding yourselves. He was creamed repeatedly, so was Kyle at times. Both Dareus and Kyle received doubles, Mario was by himself all game long against a 3rd string tackle, and he did !@#$ all.

You should feel happy for him, fresh start with a competent organization.

Could you expand your argument...
The only thing Te'o has over those two is leadership, and that's an intangible trait. Brown is a better cover guy than Te'o, no question in my mind about that. A lot of Te'o's interception came off receiver hands or deflections. Very similar to Lavonte David, if you play in the Big 12 you better be able to cover and Brown can certainly do that. In ND's D Te'o doesn't really run down the seam with TE's, that's Danny Spond's job who is a much more athletic OLB.
Minter's an underrated player, no one really talks about him but he's LSU's best and most consistent defender. It doesn't mean Te'o's a bad player, but he isn't this transcended player some make him out to be. No question, he's a damn good leader, but you only take an inside LB top 5-10 if he's a Patrick Willis type athlete/talent, and Te'o isn't that.
Remember Rolando McClain, Te'o's a much better player than McClain in the run game but I'm not sure he's that much better in pass coverage.
I look at a guy like AJ Hawk who was supposed to be the next great one and is a solid player but not great. He came out of a big school playing great competition and all that. Then I look at a guy like Kuechly who came out of a bad BC team in the ACC and he is a monster for the Panthers. I swear our defense would be top ten if he fell one more spot to us.
Hawk's a good comparison, Te'o and Hawk are similar college players, would you take Hawk top 5? Probably not even though he's a solid NFL player. That's what I feel Te'o is, a solid player but not a guy you take top 5-10. Kuechly's a much better cover LB than Te'o as well, or was in the college.

Te'o is all hype.
Arthur Brown and Kevin Minter are just as good.
-
Lmao, and SJ keeps coming up small.
People keep saying I wonder how good stevie would be with a "real" qb. I wonder how good fitz would be if he actually had a SINGLE decent WR
You don't have to wonder for very long, he had Chad Johnson in his prime and Fitz was ****. Garbage QB, wonder not.

I agree, get him the !@#$ out of here.
He's missed in every round after the teams first selection, Glenn will probably end up being the lone selection. Passed up talents like Dunlap, Hernandez, Gronk, Sean Lee, Navarro Bowman, Geno Atkins, Russell Wilson, Kaepernick, Dalton, Rudolph, Culliver, Torrey Smith, Randall Cobb, on and on and on.
We have nothing to show after the first round, Glenn is the exception. Get him the !@#$ out of here.
-
Like Levitre a lot, tough SOB, but he's had a sub par year after breaking out big time last year, that may actually help us out. He's not in the Nicks/Evans/Mankins category, so that may save us some money. On the other hand, he may want that kind of money if he's going to play for the Bills.
Team is a mess, we're always behind the curve, trying to fill holes constantly. Not sure how much more of this I can't take, same **** every year for almost a decade and a half.
-
Barkley sucks, Te'o's grossly overrated (give me Arthur Brown instead), I guess I can go with Geno. Top of the draft sucks this year.
I'd take Joeckel or Matthews before any of the players mentioned in the OP. Pears is dog **** at RT, and Glenn may be better on the right side, he's been abused lately.
-
So lucky on that TD, easily could have been intercepted.
-
Cousins sucks. Russell Wilson was the guy they all loved, Nix and Gailey said it this week, but height was their concern. Wilson was the guy they should have taken in the 3rd..
Prediction, don't quit your day job OP
-
They're incompetent.
-
Chance Warmack, dude has taken snaps at center.
-
Giants, grew up in NYC.
-
Dareus didn't play that much, where was he, injury?
-
I agree, if Chan finishes the year at 8-8 we're stuck with him.
-
Was Dareus hurt? Carrington played a lot of snaps.
-
Loss to the Titans kills any chance they had, no room for error.
Everything broke their way this season too. Key injuries to the Ravens/Steelers, AFC is awful in general, really was there year but the bad start put them in a huge hole.
-
We need a RT, Hairston is serviceable against average competition, same story with Pears though he's been awful against all comers this year.
-
PFF gave Dareus a +4.9 score. Third highest on team behind Kyle (+6.8) and Spiller (+5.0).
As I said earlier, it was on of his better games this season. Just needs to be more consistent, shed some pounds. I also think we need better depth behind Kyle and Dareus, need to rotate guys in and out to keep both of them fresh. Fresher the better.
With Wannstedt's vanilla D it's hard to really get an idea of what they're capable of on D. I don't think the LBs are very good but DL may be better with stunting and occasional blitz. As is, all they do is rush straight up. Wannstedt's idea of a wrinkle is having his DL stand up and just rushing them from a 2 point stance instead of 3.
-
Actually thought this was one of Dareus' better games.
Glenn had a rough 20-25 minutes, a shaky half. But he was pretty solid during the 2nd half, Fitz had all day to throw. OL played really well in the 2nd half.
-
I'd love for one of our OL to blindside this !@#$ low, deserves it. No afraid to headhunt, knocked Chandler out the first game with a completely dirty hit. Tried to knock out Fitz, went high and knocked out Fred. He's going to catch it from someone.
-
It's on TJ, has to cross the DBs face.
-
Maybe if we combine Jauron and Gailey we could get to .500
No talk between Bills and Byrd / Levitre

If we they lose Levitre they have to go OL early again in the draft, no !@#$ing depth.
