Think we already have players like him. I don't think think picking this kid at 9 overall is worth it. Too much talent in this draft. I see this kid sliding to the 2nd and maybe even 3rd round. This is not a position of need and we seem to have good depth. LB, WR, TE, or T for me with our first.

Even though we just signed Carpenter, I think Hopkins out shines him and having a stronger leg makes him our K! Maybe we could trade him? I like Dan but his kickoffs are weak and carrying 2 K's isnt good!

I would take Fitz back! He would be a good back up, and he likes the area. Not to sure what he thinks of the organization though!

Solid draft last year plus pretty good FA signings last year "Branch, Lawson, trade\Hughes. Kiko is a beast. Colin Brown was a disaster. Chandler was middle of the pac for TE last year stat wise. He lead our team in receiving and had no offseason last year. He wasnt spectacular but was pretty good seeing the injury suffered the year before. I have to say i dont agree with much you have said. everyone is entitled to their own opinions i guess! Byrd isnt gone yet. I cant see paying someone more than they r worth. The NFL seems to agree. I don't understand this. NO just cut a bunch of good players to get under the cap. They have like 2 mil and they want to go and sign the highest priced D FA on the market? Anything is possible but the numbers dont make sense. I am sure Byrd would luv to play for NO but at what cost?

Dan played very well for us last year. He needs to improve on his kick-offs. Other than that, he would be a good sign seeing he was with the team last year. Hopkins was drafted and has a stronger leg, and is a bit of an unknown (injured rookie season). Could the bills use Hopkins on KO and Dan as our FG kicker. I wouldn't be in favor of this but i believe the bills did this a couple years ago. I think it would be a waste of a roster spot.

We cant talk contract with Dan until 4pm today. He was on a one year Vet minimum contract. Even though he is UFA because of his contract teams cannot talk contracts with him til FA starts! Or someting like that!

I always liked Bush as a player not on a woman! He would be good to bring in on the cheap for a third downer. Isn't McFadden available as well? Both have injury concerns though. I wouldn't hate the idea.

at a boy! After things have quieted down a bit. I have changed my mind and agree. A Williams will make a fine FS. Just not so warm n fuzzy bout filling the SS spot with an unproven player. Duke might b the answer but it is an unknown. B-lo needs to bring in a VET, mid level whatever,, something not worth breaking the bank on. This way the FO wont waste a pick in the draft, well an early pick anyways. We have much greater needs. The pass rush should help out for whoever it is!
