Working in his favor may be this years lack of talent in the draft at that position. If Cordy is healthy as stated above I think we could use a healthy Cordy over his trade value.

This is why they take Barkley #1.. They have the ammo to trade up and get #2 from NY. The giants would still have the #4 overall pick and then some.

Would it be crazy for the Browns to take Barkley #1, and then trade there #4 + whatever to get the #2 pick and take the top QB?

Is this just speculation? I have heard others say this as well.... How do you know? Did he play WR, is there tape on this? We have tape on him as a QB. He isn't that bad.......... However i want a QB that makes throws from the pocket, not someone who takes off on the run to often.

Word is they wanted Trubinski. After Chicago drafted him, their QB was now now gone. Buffalo let KC take Mahomes and we got a 1st for 2018 and drafted Tre-day. Mahomes hasn't done anything in the league, so I don't get why people are butt hurt over not drafting him. Watson looked like the real deal pre injury. Who knows how he returns. Also a lot of teams passed up Watson.... I am happy with Tre and having 2 firsts in what is said to be the best QB class in a long long time. So it made sense to stock up and draft our QB this year. Just my opinion!

If they feel a franchise QB is within reach.... I am fine with them doing what it takes. We still have two 2nd rounders this year, the rest of the draft and FA to fill holes. Getting a franchise QB on a 5 year rookie contract will help!

It was year one of a new regime. A lot of changes\moving parts last year. I believe it is way to early to be overly concerned. McBeane hasn't even drafted a player for this team yet.
