  1. McKelvin...the new whipping boy. Never mind the opposing QBs had about 9 seconds to throw. McKelvin sucks. I'd love to see him on the Giants.
  2. I'm out. I'm not flying back to Bflo for that product any more. Gotta vote with my feet.
  3. I dunno about throwing 9 mil at a guy who was dumb enough to act like he did on the field......in a CONTRACT year! Imagine what kinda guy he'll be when he has money in the bank. I'm okay keeing him, but not at all costs.
  4. I have been a critic of Mayock as I'm just sick of all the "insiders" and "experts" out there. But if you listen to him when he calls a game, he really knows the game. He played football at BC and actually made ito to the pros, albeit briefly. Out of him, WalterFootball, Nolan Nawrocki, Mel and McShay (the worst), I place more on what Mayock says. All that being said, nobody is perfect and even great prospects like Aaron Curry bust. Hopefully , the folks at 1BD are smarter than all these guys and they get lucky. Jeremy Lin lucky.
  5. I have to believe that losing 2 front line defensive starters counts more than a backup QB and a kick returner. Morrison does not count.
  6. I'm generally "no" on Randy Moss, but it'd give us someone new to hate.... Hines Ward can play on my team any day. The guy has heart and is a football player. I'm sure he remembers Gailey. Yeah ....prob not either. I'm trying....
  7. At least we're talking about Coples, Ingram and Upshaw instead of Kirkpatrick or any other DB.
  8. Ahhh. Thanks. 31" is more alligator than twig. But it is short. But Ingram has found a way to use that 31" with great success. So what do you do...follow the measuring tape or follow the video tape?
  9. +1. Another chapter of my Buffalo life closed. Sad in a way.
  10. Google "Melvin Ingram" and select images. I don't see arms like twigs. And 6'1" never seemed to matter to Freeney and Dumervil. I'm not saying he is in their class, but these statements from "Walter" do not concern me a bit.
  11. Face it. Gronkowski is a beast. He's had 27 TDs in 2 years. He's going to get his. But the NFL will adapt. He'll get chipped, cut, held. The best thing to do with any of Brady's offenses is to control the clock like the Giants did. There's no defense like a good offense.
  12. I'm trying to remember him from the National Champ game....or any other game.... It's a good highlight package. He looks dominant. I'm a little concerned that he catches with his body most of the time and that LSU receivers are never as good as they were in college. Dunno why that is.
  13. And unicorns will fly over rainbows to a land where everyone is happy... I'll believe in this rebuild only after this team kicks down a few doors and claims relevance. All my optimism has been spent. It is amazing to see so much hope from the fanbase year after year.
  14. Sometimes you have to let a good player go. If we're a more talented team, sure. But the boat is leaking and DeCastro simply can't make a difference where they need it.
  15. I dunno what you see in Ingram to say you want no part of him. Reminds me of Dumervil. Pretty much unblockable. That being said...wouldn't we all be happy with Upshaw, Ingram, Mercilus, Coples....just no cornerback or QB reach. I'm even okay with Reiff or Martin, etc.
  16. I can't pin that season on injuries. Now, lack of talent might have had something to do with it....
  17. Wow...is that a great question. I am guessing it would be weird for him to be back. One day, he's the leader making 9M a year, the next he's grovelling for incentive-laden vet minimum? I can't see him wanting to do it. For the Bills? Why not? There aren't too many options out there who can score 3 TDs in a game. I see him more of a Patriots guy...or maybe a San Diego guy after VJ leaves.
  18. Dunno. I just think Brady is going to throw 40 TDs every year and he's just kind of locked on Gronk. I'm not saying Gronkowski is no good. I'm saying he's a different player on the Bills with different production. Cut his stats in half and I'd say that's about right.
  19. From what I saw in the Senior Bowl and what Curry will do at the combine...he's looking like a 1st rounder. The Bills need so much, it's hard to argue with any pick...except cornerback. If the Bills take a cornerback, it is a great indication that this regime just does not get it either.
  20. Let's not kid ourselves to think Gronkowski would have had 17 TDs with the Bills. Probably would have been good, but Brady is a huge factor in making WRs look great. He'd prob be on the IR becuase the Bills would have made him block.
  21. Talented players make the coach. Not the other way around.
  22. Yes. To either. At any point in their career. They should be be selling their seed like Secretariat.
