  1. Dunno if you are trying to be funny....but THAT is funny.
  2. Mr. Jauron, I don't know WHY you are still on this board. Get on with your life.
  3. WRs are involved in 10 plays a game....if they are hall of famers. It's not our biggest problem.
  4. Based on everything I saw and who we need, it's going to be either Mel Ingram or Nick Perry. It's a deep draft for big WRs, so why go WR. Maybe OT first if we think Curry or the like will be there in the 2nd.
  5. What about Perry says 42 and not 22....or 10? Lack of hype?
  6. Combine numbers mean something. It costs the NFL millions to do the combine and they do it for a reason.
  7. Dunno why. I think the Skins are the only player. Cleveland is out and Miami wants Manning.
  8. Ooh. I feel zinged. I wish I knew more about football. Please help.
  9. Please take that DB off your mock draft. I'll pay you. If you watched Poe's highlights, he lined up everywhere and even dropped in to coverage. Mayock was saying he is scheme diverse. Don't know what to do with that.
  10. I think there's a little negative buzz about Upshaw because he was a stiff D lineman testing with LBs. The combine did nothing for Courtney Upshaw. I almost don't care who they take...as long as it's front 7.
  11. Point taken. He IS one of the stories of this draft. His placement is nothing if not interesting.... BTW, I just saw his 5.10 40 run. WOW (that's a bad wow).
  12. Would it be so bad to take a tackling machine?? And as far as coverage...forget a linebacker's coverage ability. Get a good pass rush and I'll cover Gronkowski.
  13. These people. http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?prospect_id=2921 Look. They're just guessing and so are we. I think most people had Burfect in the top part of the draft. If he flames out, so what. He's not a Bills type of guy. I hear you...but who would report that?
  14. Most mocks have Branch in the 2nd round. Most have Perry in the Mid-late 1st....and I hope posters will have the decency to refrain suggestion the Bills trade down and take Perry later. If they trade down, it will be cecause there are 4 players they like a 1 will likely be left....not because they think they are reachiing for their guy.
  15. Well, that pissed me off. Everyone's been talking about the Rams trading the pick to the Browns or the Redskins for the past month and ESPN "breaks" that story today? I hope the Browns pass and the Redskins sign Manning. Take your 2nd pick and..... Breaking news....I'm only surpised there wasn't a Peter Pan picture.
  16. I don't think a poor combine will knock Burfict lower than round 2. People like his passion and his football sense, which aren't going to show up in Indy. If he can play SAM, I think round 2 is a possibility. I'd feel pretty good about Perry and Burfict. You?
  17. Now he fits. Speed and power. Pedigree. Resume. Nick Perry wouldn't surprise me a bit based on what we know now.
  18. I agree and see us going Ingram or the Best available OT. I think the 2nd through 4th is going to be loaded with quality big WRs, so why not wait and grab McNutt, Toon, Cunningham, Criner or even Jeffrey.
  19. As far as the Bills taking Poe or any other DT, I'm not opposed to one in the 4th or 5th, but let's fill some holes before we go there. Poe's 40 turned out to be a 4.9, but still impressive day for him.
  20. Thank you very much. Great info. Funny thing about explosion. He had one of the most exlposive 1st 10 yards at the combine. Maybe it doesn't traslate.
  21. Poe is 6'4", 350 lbs. He benched 225 40+ and ran a 4.8 with a 1st step that rivals outside linebackers. It's weird watching a guy this big move this well. They are saying on NFL network that no DT that size has ever moved that well. In fact, there's a bunch of them. Devon Still, Mike Martin and Jerel Worthy can also move and are 300+. If Brockers goes ahead of these guys, it's proof that the combine is worth very little. It looks like there's a LOT of depth at DT.
