  1. The more I hear and the more I read, I think it's going to be the OT from Stanford. I will not complain if it's anywhere on the defensive line. If it's a CB, the Bills will lose 5,000 season tickets.
  2. Cam Newton is crazy good. He accounted for nearly 5,000 yards of offense and 31 TDs. He's as big as Roethlisberger and moves like Vick. He even throws well. I don't think you can take him out with a scheme. And, if he just matches his rookie stats for 10 years, he's a HOFer.
  3. He said the same thing last year. Buddy will have his guy picked by the time the other team picks up the phone to trade up with him.
  4. Stone. Biblical Tablet. Rock. 10. And to annoy us all, Buddy will make his pick with 13 minutes left on the clock.
  5. That team without Brady is the Colts without Manning. The day Brady retires, Belichick is a bad coach and a worse GM.
  6. With all due respect, the thread asks no such question. The purpose of this thread was to reinforce what most of us already know. The Bills will pick at 10. Not at 3. Not at 17 and 21. They will pick at 10 and it will be the best guy on their board. All this talk of what they should do ignores what they are telling us they are going to do. They will pick at 10.
  7. Holy cow I think you are right. So, I guess Nix has never traded a pick? Up or Down.
  8. Upon further review, I screwed up. The Oakland pick was used to pick up Nate Solder. Better than Ron Brace, but not as good as Seymour. And I think the Pats would have strung a few titles together if Belichick stopped being cute on draft day and replaced Rodney Harrison, Bruschi, Vrabel, McGinest and Asante Samuel with decent talent. Instead, he has 4 picks in the top 2 rounds every year and an aging QB. The fact that they are in the Superbowl is all Brady.
  9. I was looking at past draft last night during the Sabres game and something made me smile. Other than trading away his best player in Richard Seymour for a future #1 (which turned out to be the great Ron Brace), the genius Belichick has done a few things that Pats fans must cry about: Other than Seymour, he traded the 23rd pick to Baltimore down 26 (Oher), then traded the 26th pick to Green Bay, which turned out to be Clay Matthews. Can you imagine the Pats with Seymour and Matthews on that team? At least he got the likes of Terrence Wheatley, Taylor Price and Darius Butler.
  10. It's all posturing. Brees is the Mayor of New Orleans and is not going anywhere.
  11. Seemed like a very persuasive article. But, the argument only holds water if Nix/Whaley were resposible for those poor drafts. So the only question left is: Would you trade Spiller, Troup, Dareus, Williams and effectively Fitzpatrick for RG3? I would be shocked if Nix could stand up in front of us...tell us their going to build through the draft..and then trade his drafts away for 1 player. It's more of a Russ Brandon move than a Budda Nix move.
  12. Since Nix has taken over as GM, the Bills have traded during the draft once that I could see. They traded a 3rd and a 4th to the Cowboys for a 2nd to draft Levitre (a stiff price?). They are the antithesis of the Patriots, who trade more than anyone. I think this is a good indication that Buffalo just make their picks where they are and will just take the BPA at 10. And remember that Whaley comes from Pittsburgh, who move less than anyone. So for all the RG3 talk or getting Cincy's 2 picks, it almost assuredly will not happen.
  13. I give up. The Giants are crappy. You are right and know more about football.
  14. Yeah, you are prob right. Build the defense. Another OT.
  15. Giants had a crappy year, but they were far from a crappy team. 2 out of the previous 3 years, they had 10 wins. Try again.
  16. Please draft Kirk Cousins.....if he gets to us in the 2nd.
  17. It would be a dumb move. Name the last crappy team that mortgaged their future for 1 player with a positive result. Follow the lead of the 49ers, Steelers, Giants and Patriots. Rarely, if ever, do you trade up. If anything, amass more picks because the draft is a crapshoot.
  18. Bequette is not unknown and fits in the middle rounds. He showed well at the combine. He was kinda like Kelsay.
  19. Depends what kind of dude he is. I'm not against hiring an ahole, but a a crazy ahole, no way.
