  1. Great point. They should draft a center in case Wood cant't shake this injury streak.
  2. He must be some special teamer as I think we can all agree that he is limited as a receiver. For starters, he can't catch.
  3. I dunno. Hairston looks like a pretty good prospect and they got him in the 4th. Might that influence how they pick this year??? Or is a complete RESET without influence from past draft successes and failures? All I know is I would bet that one of those 4th rounders is going to be a DT.
  4. Agreed. WRs touch the ball 6-8 times a game....maybe.
  5. Chicago. Last December's games were worthless. I am giving them up this year and will just pay the premium for the 2-3 games I go to. I actually prefer to sit in the end zones. After being in the Jim Kelly Club and on the sidelines in 132, the end zones is where I want to be and they are always available. So, for me, the hassle is not worth it anymore. That being said, if they sign Mario Wms, VJ and/or have a really good draft, I might get caught up in it and change my mind. The tix are cheap.
  6. If you hear Ingram talk, he is very passionate about football and I wouldn't doubt his success in the NFL despite his shortish arms. He didn't build his considerable resume using someone else's arms.
  7. If we go DT in the 1st, I like Fletcher Cox. Huge fast beast. Tall enough to knock Brady's passes down and fast enough to put more inside pressure. Then maybe a Bruce Irvin in the 2nd or McLellin later on. The Bills will take the BPA.
  8. Agreed. I want a nasty prick who loves football. Coples sounds like a guy who likes money and football is just what he has to do to get it. I like Perry. I don't know his whole body of work, but he doesn't seem to take plays off and would look good next to Dareus.
  9. Why put Buffalo in there if all he has to say is LOL?
  10. My only edit would be to replace the DB and the 2nd olb with at least 1 DT. Say a guy like Mike Martin out of Michigan. Suppose it depends on Torrell Troupe.
  11. Was Sam Cowart the same after his Achilles? I think you have to protect yourself. Don't be surprised if we pursue a guy like Fletcher Cox or even the great Dontari Poe. I dunno who the Bills are going to draft, but I think he's gonna weigh 300+.
  12. Draft a DT just in case. Up high. You have to be strong in the middle.
  13. No. Let's get a decent pass rush and then evaluate what we have. You have a former 1st rounder in McKelvin that I thought played pretty well considering the anemic pass rush. McGee is back. And you just addressed CB with a high pick last year. When I think "what will complete the Bills or get them over the top", I think of 3 things: 1. Better offensive line - I'm sure you can come up with a statistic that supports that line, but they need better players at tackle and depth in the middle. 2. Better defensive line - They need 2 DEs and 1 DT. They have no edge rushers they can count on and that team should not count on Kyle Williams (and his reattached achilles), and 3. At least 1 professional linebacker. They only have 1 proven performer now and he was discarded by the Packers. After that, we can talk TE, 2nd WR and developmental QB. Then maybe consider a corner. My prediction:no FA. 4th rounder in the draft.
  14. I think it's going to be a soft year for season tix. But that's coming from a guy who is an outatowner and is not renewing. I know from trying to get rid of tix last year that demand was lowest it's been in a long time. If I can't sell the games I don't go to without losing money, no season tix. I'm happy that they signed #13, but am curious if he'll become more of what he was (an idiot) now that he has the contract.
  15. I wish you didn't post that. I've been walking around saying "Pyay that myan hyis money" since I read it.
  16. +1. these parasitic "investments" are really just trusted suits playing on ego, then robbing them blind. It has happened to so many athletes it's crazy. It also kills me that one day the fans can be screaming in support of the guy one day, then hide their #81 jerseys and bury the guy the next.
  17. I truly hate to see this. The guy may be an ahole, but he had huge talent. And I think it sucks that a bunch of parasites benefitted from his talent more than he did.
  18. Don't get me wrong. The Pats are still a great organization who have dominated our division forever. But I think history will show that Belichick was a bit too eager to win draft day and his unchallengeable ego prevented the Patriots from dominating Superbowls the way they should have. I just love that they traded out of the Clay Matthews pick and now they need a pass rusher.
  19. Okay, he's a 6'7" guard out of Colorado, but it's a little ironic that his position is listed as "G". That is all. You may revert to all discussions of Lee Evans and trading up for RG3.
  20. The problem is Lee Evans is not a #1. Sorry. Had to do it.
  21. I hear you. But I think the talent/cap could have been managed better. The Seymour contract is an Al Davis contract, so it's especially ridiculous. If BB would have signed Seymour to a long term contract at 6 per year, he might have been able to do it...but it came down to ego. Nobody puts Bill Belichick's feet to the fire. Samuel-gone. Seymour-same.
  22. I think Chan is done with Lee Evans. He never seemed fully satisfied with him.
  23. I think the Bengals would rather have Mark Barron AND Doug Martin.
