Dunno how good Tannehill is, but I wouldn't bring in a franchise guy until the defense is further along. Maybe throw the bank at it next year. Barkley. Jones. Shock would pervade this board if the Bills pick Tannehill at all.

I can live with our WRs as they have produced. I cannot live with that DEFENSE they've ran out on the field the last 5 years. Mario Williams is a start and I expect the Bills to mimic the Steelers and Giants and draft pass rushers. And then more pass rushers. Don't sign one and hope. Draft 2 more and LOCK IT DOWN.

Be honest. What did you think when you got the voicemail from the Bills "Ha, this is Budduh Nix, the new genral manager of the Buffalo Bills"? I had a WTF moment. And a laugh.

As opposed to all the other QBs we have that have beaten the Steelers in the playoffs. I know it's popular to bash Tebow, but he does have value. It's not the value of a #1 QB, but it's the value on bringing something different athletically and a winning attitude. I disagree with anyone who says this 2x winner of the Heisman who scored 50TDs in the SEC is an athlete with no value in the NFL....especially with such a creative mind in Chan Gailey as coach. As a fan, I think it'd be fun to watch.

There is no better coach than Chan Gailey to get the most out of Tim Tebow. I see no downside in giving up a 5th for Tebow. He only makes $1m. Fans might be distracted, but I think he is a football player and could only help.

The question is: Who is the WHO? I think the WHO could be a DT like Cox or Ta'amu. Maybe Zach Brown? Outside of that, I can't say I'd be upset with any of the names being thrown out here.

Guess I'd agree with that summation. I made my comments based on seeing Smith in the playoffs, not knowing his stats. I can't believe he only had 17 TDs.

Who is Colin Brown? Seriously. I have hopes for an unknown guy on the roster named Jake Vermiglio, but that's for personal reasons. I have no idea how good his is. I know he's huge and nimble. Is Brown good enough to be the man in case Wood becomes a chronic injury guy.

Alex Smith would be an upgrade for everyone in the division except The Pats. I think you are kidding yourself if you value Fitz over Alex Smith. The guy was set up to fail the first part of his career and played VERY well with proper coaching.

I appreciate the optimism, but the Bills still have more questions than answers. I think 8-9 wins is their top end unless they have a dominant rookie sensation at LB or Shep turns out to be Ray Lewis II.

Didn't the Giants left tackle (Deihl, I think) start at guard for years before making the switch? Would Levitre be serviceable at LT. Not great, but serviceable? Dunno. That's the only way I see DeCastro in the mix. But if he is truly the BPA, he will be the pick.

I hear you. I dunno. I just wonder if he's as good as Kuechly or Hightower....and whether that will make a difference on draft day. Maybe. Before the Williams signing, I knew their priorities, now I'm cloudy. I could see Hightower, Kuechly or Coples.
