  1. I want say "so what"....but a 4?!! I think the Waterboy got a 5.
  2. Right. You can't tell the difference between them at the combine. But 1 guy eats, breathes and lives football and the other likes to make it rain in strip clubs. Motor IS part of it. But football awareness is another. Think Zach Thomas. Hines Ward. Howie Long. Carder is a great add.
  3. Often, they go hand in hand. But I hear you. I honestly think it is Nix's draft strategy and if we follow his clues close enough, he will tell us who he is picking. But I wouldn't be surprised if the 1st 3 come from the above list. I like McNutt as well.
  4. I meant it. I don't tweet, so I guess I could really care less about all that. But calling on the Bills Mafia is about as cheesy as the whammy wienie. It doesn't reflect the players, the coach, the organization or the city. Have fun with it. If it goes national, it will be embarrassing for most us.
  5. I think if the Bills rehire Bell, they'd be doing him a favor, not the other way around. Maybe him doing 9 reps at 225 and getting injured every year is indicative of his lack of commitment to football. I don't question his talent. I question his cajones. If he comes back, fine. If not. So what.
  6. I care way more about 2012 than 2011 review. Last year sucked. The Bills sucked. As good as Stevie was, he had low points that cat games. As good as Fred was, he was in sweat pants the final quarter of the season. I guess we just need to see the baby...NFL Network just filling dead air.
  7. In the NFL, I think it's important for the WR to understand defenses and be where he is supposed to be when he's supposed to be there. Hardy could do the jump ball, but not the rest. If that's all Jeffrey can do, he's useless. I'd rather have Juron Criner or Marvin McNutt. Again....IF he's actually like Hardy. That is just one guy's opinion.
  8. With all the talk of Reiff's arms and Martin's bench press, I got bored and started looking for stuff in interviews and write ups that indicated a guy was a football nut, film junkie, team leader, coach's dream, etc.. Not a comprehensive list (didn't include Luck, etc.) but guys who stood out were: Round 1 DeCastro, Kuechly, Ingram, Cox, Kirkpatrick, Martin and Gilmore. Round 2 Hightower, Lavonte David, Curry, Z. Sanders, B. Wagner, Cousins, Sanu Round 3 Schwartz, Ben Jones, Bradham, Mike Martin I remember reading about guys like Levitre and Sheppard thinking that I really wanted these guys on the Bills because they were football players. Again, I'm not here to debate the list as I am sure there are guys who belong. But I'd rather see the Bills take guys who care more about Tuesday practices than Monday's press clippings. My favorite guys based on this are Ingram, Gilmore, David, Curry and Mike Martin (Mich). Who DID I miss?
  9. I have no problem loading up with pass rushers if the Bills think it gives them depth and flexibility on the d line. Where he gets drafted will prob be determined by his interviews. He has enough to impress you, but the 'experts' are questioning his motor. Might prefer Ingram or Kuechly as we have a whole heap of question marks at LB.
  10. By that standard, Big Mike Williams is a Hall of Famer. I suggest the Bills focus on whether a guy can play football, not whether he can lift weights or run fast in shorts. Now, if the Bills pass on Martin, it will not be because of 19 reps. Does he have bad game day tape?
  11. He will be on the roster after the draft. The Bills simply must answer your question in the Draft. I don't think a raw power with a 5cent head like Mallet fits Gailey's optimum QB profile. Regardless of what you think of them, I could easily see the Bills taking guys like Cousins or Moore. I think whoever it is will fit with who they have.
  12. I'm a little wary of judging a guy based on his best highlights. I wish I could be judged by my best moments. I'm really jk. I still dunno anything about the guy and I'm not going to pretend to.
  13. I dunno. The Bills have been causing me more pain than any of the 3. Can I vote for the Bills?
  14. Leodis McKelvin. Good pass rush will vault him, Williams or other cb
  15. I hate the term Bills Mafia. Thug life. Same s..t.
  16. You are right. I know nothing about the guy.
  17. Good edit. Don't totally hang the Danny Batten thing on him. I was just saying their write-ups seemed similar. Maybe this guy IS worth a look.
  18. Yeah, I was thinking of Fleener as a 2nd rounder or target if we go down. But if they see him as Gronkowski , who cares where they draft him. Interesting thought.
  19. Ahhh Coby Fleener. I've been waiting for Fleener talk to heat up. Dude looks big and smooth.
  20. I can't cut paste on the iPad, but I read a few bios. Fast. Nasty. Some pass rush ability. He's a LB btw and he's worth a look as a Danny Batten kind of guy.
  21. Never thought about it. Well put. Agreed x 10.
