  1. Thanks. My BS meter was on 9 and you took care of it for me.
  2. And Antonio Allen in the 3rd, Stephen Garcia in the 4th and Joey Scribner-Howard in the 7th. You are true to your name, my friend. Nobody is saying Reiff is a guard. RT maybe.
  3. Whether his size contributed to his injuries is irrelevant. His size absolutely contributed to his ability to get open and make plays. At his size, he is the antithesis of a Nix/ Gailey WR, who is open even when he was covered. Parrish was only decent for bubble screens, which isn't enough in todays NFL. Add to that his injury history and he's nearly useless to the Bills as a WR. Great guy, but so what. Completely agree that they had some effect on his stats. But it goes both ways. Parrish also had an effect on the QB's stats. He's currently listed no higher than 5th on the SD WR depth chart and may have trouble making that team.
  4. 7 years. 134 receptions. The argument that he was never properly utilized is bunk. WRs get open. He didn't. I wouldn't be shocked if he played his last down in the NFL. I can't figure out why a guy with less than 20 receptions per year gets all the love. May be a great guy, but too small and too inconsistent to be a good NFL WR.
  5. The Bills were 28th in the NFL in defending the run and allowed 140 yards per game. Do the Bills have a Pat Willis on the team? Do we have a Derrick Brooks on the team? Since the answer is clearly "are you high....NO!!", we need good LBs. Don't be satisfied with incumbents just because they were here. As many plays as they made, they were a big part of that 28th ranked rush defense.
  6. Niles Burris of Nevada and Tank Chandler are unknown to most everyone. Awesome!!
  7. Man crushing on David. Kuechly had over 500 tackles in college. I'm sure they weren't all run plays. I love this thread because I hope the Bills load up on LBs.
  8. I guess I'm one of the haters. I have two memories of Parrish: 1. The Seahawks game and the TechmoBowl punt return, and 2. The Jets game 3 years ago when he fell on a simple out pattern and Abram Elam was gifted a pick 6. In between, the dude was on the IR. Just because he's been around for 7 (losing) years doesn't mean we should cry in our beer. Yeah he had talent. Yeah he was a good PR for a coupla years. But, in the end and for what ever reason, he was a disappointment as a WR.
  9. BPAs will get picked regardless of strict need. I think Carder is better than half the guys above and will get drafted before guys like Kendricks, Cole and Kaddu. Maybe round 4, but I'd be shocked if he lasts til the 5th. Do the Bills fly in late round prospects? 3rd rounder.
  10. Well, if they LOVE the guys we have, they will not draft 2. We'll see. Hey what about this guy Wilbur out of Wake Forest...I liked what I read about him. PFW - Pro Football Weekly’s scouting report on Wilbur says he has “outstanding work habits, plays hard … Willing hitter, crashes hard, intelligent.” On the negative side, the report says Wilbur is “not overly tough, aggressive or physical … struggles handling double team.” Late round guy.
  11. I'm glad he's gone. He was a tease. The Bills need consistent performers and Roscoe was never that.
  12. I would not be suprised if Carder is a Bill in the 3rd. And as much as I do not like WalterFootball, I like their Bills draft. They keep giving us a guy named TY Hilton. Never heard of him.
  13. I think you are late for Carder. I really like T. Lewis. Just one guy's opinion.
  14. Well, maybe the switch to a 4-3 will help. But we didn't accomplish new defensive lows with good linebackers. You may like these guys because they are familiar, but they might not be any good. We need to answer the question "What if Sheppard is just okay...or worse". Right now, the answer is not on the roster. OLB is worse. I thought he was all over the place in the Senior Bowl and could be had for lower pick. The only one I wonder about is Ronnell Lewis. There are some negative reviews that he just doesn't show up at times. How about Wagner in the 2nd and Carder in the 3rd? Too early?
  15. He and Burfict are polar opposites. Perfect backup for Shep, especially if he has special team ability.
  16. Other than Kuechly, the top fits for the Bills: ILB - Hightower, Carder, James-Michael Johnson and Audie Cole OLB - Lavonte David, Bobby Wagner, Nigel Bradham and Travis Lewis. I think LB is the weakest position on the team and they should draft 3. I would be pumped if the Bills selected 2 from the above. My favorites are Hightower, Johnson, David and Wagner.
  17. In today's NFL, it is rare that one can be effective at his job unless he is a hard worker, film junkie, etc. That mythical beer pounding player in the strip club does not exist. Even if it did, my point of this is to say that player would not be high on Buddy's list. Your list is irrelevant. So is mine.
  18. I'm with you on Ingram. Seems to have something special and hard to stop.
  19. Maybe I phrased is wrong. What do you call it when a guy is a hard worker, film junkie, coach on the field, etc.? I don't care what he does off the field either. In fact, the quality I'm talking about is when a guy doesn't have a life off the field. Look at the bios for Tank Carder, DeCastro and Curry. They sound like locker room leaders to me. Like Wood. Like Shep.
  20. 1 RB in the 1st round is a questionable idea. 2 in the span of 3 years is a catastrophe. Fred is better than this guy and he is under contract. Same with Spiller.
  21. Well researched and answered. All you had to do is point out Michigan State. While a great school, they've had their share of idiots too. In fact, we can point to every major football program and find idiots. If an idiot can play ball, he will be embarrassing a University near you. Vanderbilt is an incredible school.
  22. I think it was OJ's son in the grassy knoll.
