  1. Doesn't matter to me. Even if they did squeek in, they would be quickly eliminated. I don't care about droughts or moral victories. 4 years of losing the Superbowl taught me it's all about winning THAT game....and the Bills are at least 1 Franchise QB away. I'm just going to watch these final 4 weeks and hope they win 'em all. Maybe drafting in the middle is better for us.
  2. +1. The Seahawks will have better defensive game plan and personnel. That game will show, either way, where this team is.
  3. Tressel is not from the SEC. I would believe Gene Cizik, but not Jim Tressel.
  4. He didn't start. He was forced to play due to McKelvin's back issue. Maybe practicing all week as a starter makes a difference. Dunno. One thing I liked around him is he was around the ball and played with a bit of an edge. Who knows. He's a rookie. I've seen worse (#23).
  5. If you know their draft pick is a crapshoot, doesn't it make sense to just give in and feel good about watching the Bills win on Sundays? I tried to root against wins. I just feel better when they win. It's a DNA thing that just can't be switched off. And let's not forget the QB's starting today that were drafted after the first 10 picks included names like Brady, Rodgers, Cutler, Kaepernick, Romo, Flacco, Dalton, Foles, & Wilson. I'm rooting for 9-7. A solid LB and any kind of a prospect at QB in the draft. Can we please hit on a 3rd round QB next year? Who's the best QB out of the SEC? That's our guy.
  6. If Fitz is such a good QB, what does a bad QB look like? I just see, week after week, he cannot hit a WR on a go route. I see him misread his WRs and throw easy interceptions. Rich Gannon, whom I respect, called the Bills game last week and pointed out the same things. Said you just can't miss those opportunities in the NFL. I agree.
  7. Root for the Bills in-season. Talk about the draft later.
  8. Chan's pressers are embarrassing. Nobody wants to talk about the elephants in the room, so they ask him about injuries. How about "Why is Tavaris Jackson here"? or "Why do you go spread and throw the ball on 3rd and short"?.
  9. Haven't read the whole thread, but he had the best NFL player interview ever broken down by Howard Stern. It was amazing how thick his accent was. Could barely understand him.
  10. Alex Smith is at least twice as good as Fitz. Davis is a dominant TE and the WRs look pretty good to me. It kills me that we passed on so many QBs over the past 3 years. Kaepernick, Dalton. Cousins. Heck, even Wilson. How do do you, as a coach, know that Fitz is the answer without having other talent around to compare him to. This is Nix's #1 failing as a GM. I question nothing a Harbaugh does.
  11. I agree. You'd think in your early series of "must win" games, you'd take even more chances. I hate Chan's game plan. Like sheep to the slaughter. How 'bout a fake punt. An on side kick. A running play.....ANYTHING.
  12. The Bills have never taken this kinda guy. EVER. I wouldn't bet on it.
  13. I don't think the Buffalo Bills are a traditional business. Their revenues are in no large way tied to their product. They receive 1/32 of a huge TV deal, huge merchandizing and licensing dollars even if he puts teletubbies on the field. The thirst for the NFL product has absolutely exploded since Wilson bought his franchise and he's just been riding the wave for at least 30 years. If the Bills are worth 800 million, I think it is due to the rising tide of NFL popularity having very little with what RW did to achieve that value. He's one lucky SOB, not a brilliant owner.
  14. The Browns had a ton of people in the stands in 1994 and I think had a winning record.....on their way to Baltimore. Raiders left Oakland with good attendance. The Minnesota North Stars left with butts in the seats. I think these days attendance is way down on the list.....unless you are talking about Luxury Box attendance, 100% of revenues going directly into the owners pocket. It's a good indication of a teams local support, but if the numbers (luxury box, local tv revenue, stadium licensing) scream leave....they will.
  15. If Ralph is our Crown Jewel, he certainly is the kind of ornament that reflects this franchise. Ralph didn't build anything. You did. You pay a lot of money for anything that has to do with the Bills. The Bills are part Ralph's hobby and mostly his ATM. He has done nothing with altruistic intent.
  16. Why would you do this to yourself?
  17. Coldest I've ever been. Period.
  18. I'm happy to leave this mess to you true fans.
  19. Remember that Jax beating us, in and of itself, doesn't give them the tiebreaker. There is no head-to-head tiebreaker in determining draft position. It's strength of schedule.
