The Bills beat up on the very worst teams in the NFL. They never fail to shrink from a major challenge at a key time. Be it the Pats, Jets or even the Colts, this team is not talented enough or coached well enough to run with the big boys. My reference to bartenders refers to what most of the Jaguars, et. al. should be.

Well put. I come down on the other side. Our winning defensive efforts have come against Miami on a 6 game slide and Jax. I expect Chris Givens to catch 15 balls and they still have SJax. Their defensive front might be all top 5 picks. But I will admit I know little about their back 7. I know they have decent corners. You can feed me my words Sunday evening, but I see St. Louis continuing their surge and the 3 Bills offensive injuries showing up as a pick 6 in a loss. And maybe 6 field goals. Have you seen Zeurlein kick? Incredible.

Some people just are not comfortable with change. They like a good interview. They bought the Jersey. You were not going to convince them that Rob Johnson and Trent Edwards sucked. And they're not going admit the great Ryan Fitzpatrick is part of the problem. He has LED this team to consistent losing records. He cannot consistently throw the ball over 20 yards and that has so many affects on the game. He can be effective in the narrow band of offense that suits his skill set, but the Bills will never beat the better teams because they take that comfort zone away. I kinda wish we had Curtis Painter, who sucks at every level.

Who knows if David Snow is the answer. My only point is that he had over 20 starts at Center for a very good Texas program. I would say that should count for something, but there's the Williams boys (Mike and Aaron) destroying that concept. Brings another question. If the Bills had the #1 pick and the consensus #1 pick was another Texas guy named Williams, do you think they flinch?

I know Urbik will play there this year, prob because they don't want to trust Oline calls to a very green rookie, but Snow is a center and has pretty good size.

Maybe the guy to supplement or replace Wood is already on the Bills roster. David Snow played over 20 games in college at center. I know he went to Texas and that usually spells bust for us, but maybe that doesn't apply to UDFAs.

I'm warming up to that idea. It could happen.

Amen. Hairston sucks compared to Jake Long. We can just stop the debate about Jake Long. He's not coming to Buffalo. Buffalo has a left tackle and enough money in the O-line.

Sanchez has been victimized by the perfect storm of no weapons, a poor offensive line and a bad OC. He looked pretty good against the Bills on several occasions and knows what it's like to beat NE often. This is definitely the lowest point of his career. He will be better as he just has all the tools. That being said, he doesn't seem like a leader. It doesn't seem like he commands the huddle like the good ones do. Bring him in for a look? Absolutely. He's far more skilled than Fitz and has a higher ceiling. Rely on him being the guy? No way. He is damaged goods at this point and he can either go the way of Trent Edwards or the way of Jim Plunkett.

Maybe the defense is among the worst (at least in part) because Fitz doesn't take care of the ball and has too many 3 and outs. And what difference does speed make at WR? So Fitz can miss them by 1 yard instead of 2? Fitz above Cutler?????? I live in Chicago and watch both play. Cutler is way better. He flicks the ball 30 yards whereas Fitz just can't make that throw....or many throws. The Bears O-line sucks, but the team is night & day better with Cutler. Fitz makes the Bills better by throwing less.

I completely agree. Flacco, Dalton and A. Smith...in that order. You know what kind of QB Fitz is? The Bills do better when he has fewer throws. That's how good he is. Who really cares whether he's better than Sanchez (he's not). Bottom line is if you don't have a winner and a leader at QB, your team is in the bottom half.

Clearly, Ruvell Martin has pictures of somebody. There is no other explanation. I'd rather see a street FA in there who we don't know what he does. Martin is known and is not any part of the answer at WR.
