  1. I hear you. FWIW, I think Harbaughs are coaches kids. Man, this is a ballsy move.
  2. I'll give the Bills this: It's different. But I have a Kevin Bacon movie scene that keeps going through my head
  3. I'm too busy mancrushing Barrett Jones to think about Nassib at 8, but it is nice to see guys like Loomis, Payton, Coughlin and some former players speak highly of him. I just hope he can twist buddy's arm on some draft picks and has a clue to how to build a team.
  4. The 2012 Indianapolis Colts draft may go down as the best offensive draft of all time. They had Wayne and answered Luck with Fleener, Allen, Hilton and had lower round guys that made contributions (Brazill and Ballard). Add in 2 superb playmakers on defense, it not even close.
  5. The Colts were 11-5 The Bills were 6-10. I'm done here.
  6. Wow. You'd take Chandler over Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen? If you truly believe that, there's no use discussing the rest. The QB IS important. Vitally important. But Payton won (I think) 3 games and Aikman won 1 game in year one. The 11-5 Colts are so more talented than the Bills it's ridiculous.
  7. Except for QB, WR, TE, DE, LB, and K, I agree with you.
  8. At what point do we start looking at Williams and Dareus when the Bills get run on? I think they flash above average, but don't play at a high level consistently. A new coach has to help there. Good analysis' above. Agree with much has been said. I love the San Diego 2003/04 comparison, except they had 2 franchise QBs I think.
  9. I would agree with you except I think you're short a coupla positions. I think we need a starting RT and RDE. That's 8 out 22 starters. SB?? +1. There's more to this game than talent. I would even throw Dareus and the great Kyle Williams in your analysis. Makes me yearn for the Pat Williams days.
  10. Nope. Ain't gonna do it. On to the next thread...
  11. I'm not very smart. The only *IN* possible passed the torch to a 16 year veteran of this bafoonery. But this time, it's fresh and aggressive. I am convinced, more than ever, that nothing is going to change until ownership does. But again, I know I don't "get it".
  12. Many players are talented. Ryan Leaf was talented. Steve Emtmann was talented. Charles Rogers (Deroit WR) was talented. The question is: Do they have the players with the size, speed, head, health and heart to be effective on the field. I'll let their record against the AFC East over the last 3 years answer that question.
  13. And then, some people want people other than Brandon, Overdorf, Littman and Buddy running the team. If Whaley was that good, he'd officially be the GM . I'd love to be pleased and Marrone may be a good hire, but unless he gains a lot of power, this team will struggle to be relevant. I think the organization is rotten at the top. That's my opinion. Counts as much as yours. Don't care if I'm right or not.
  14. Rather than focus on Te'o, I was looking at Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack. That Alabama line dominated ND all night. Te'o never had a chance. It was almost funny how much ND looked like the Bills defense at times. Huge holes. Big yards. Noting that the Bills do not have a professional LB on their roster, I'd still take Te'o.
  15. Ok, if you're going to make me chose. It will not work as long as RB is in charge. The Bills will not make the playoffs next year or the year after (at least). I will be miserable. Does that work for you?
  16. My NY friends hate Bart Scott and insist he was done 2 years ago.
  17. Agree. They will both be back or Buddy's plan was all just hot air. Buddy seems to mean what he says.
